The overall reputation of the company reflects a mix of positive and negative sentiments. Customers appreciate the convenience, product variety, and competitive pricing, particularly praising the store's layout and exclusive brands. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, with reports of long wait times, unresponsive staff, and issues with online orders and returns. Many customers express frustration over outdated products and perceived indifference from management. These trends suggest that while the company offers a strong shopping experience, substantial improvements in customer support and service reliability are needed to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

You know it's not your normal every day novel when a former CIA director endorses the book and its plot is ripped from the pages of today's headlines. In this, his latest book, Joel Rosenberg paints a chilling picture of what the Middle East might look like if current trends continue. With an insider's knowledge and a sizzling pen, Mr. Rosenberg spins a vivid tale of politics, intrigue, deception and betrayal.
I like that you can have items sent to your home or your closest store.
I ordered a party dress and I got here at cheapest price.
Of all of the stores, in all of the world- THIS- is my absolute favorite! The customer service is amazing, there is always someone looking to help the customers, you never have to search the entire store for an employee, the stores are immaculately clean, and on top of all of that, unlike Walmart, Target has enough employees to handle the rushes of customers, so no waiting an hour to checkout in one of the 2 lines that are open, and you can actually walk through the aisles with out bumping into 10 people!
On Sunday, March 1, at 12 o'clock I stood in line to one of the cashiers at Target in Harmar, PA.
Elderly cashier kept fumbling with bagging and with the cash register. He was slow and inefficient. Finally it was my turn. The old man processed my merchandise but hasn't noticed the new customer bar on the conveyer and processed a few items belonging to the next customer. Ordinarily, in any other store, this would be a little insignificant mishap. All it takes is a few keystrokes to reverse such little mistake, but not at Target. The old man didn't know how to get out of this. He kept calling for help but nobody came.
Finally, a young lady came over but the old man unexpectedly and inexplicably left. He went to the entry area, grabbed a map and began cleaning the floor. That seemed to be a function that he was more familiar then with running a cash register.
A young lady kept yelling some questions to the old man, but he kept ignoring her. The lady left and I was left alone standing there. A man came over. I asked him if he is a manager. – No, - he replied, - I'm security. I asked him to call a manager. The security man kept calling on his wireless intercom, but nobody came.
Eventually, a young man with a Trainee tag arrived to tell the security guy that the man he is calling is not there. After a while the "manager" appeared. They call him at Target "A Job Leader". "The Job Leader" began by trying to tell me about his grandfather's recent death. When I told him that all I want is to pay and to get out of there, he got really sore.
Finally, I paid and left this store. Not a single apology. In fact it didn't look like there was anybody who cared at all.
According to Bloomberg News, Target's CEO, Brian Cornell is leading the shake-up of this troubled retailer. Mr. Cornell, tightening the belt and focusing on basics is certainly a very good idea. However, I think that better employee training and better selection of those who are entrusted with the supervision of the store should be your first and foremost priority.
Today you lost me as a customer, tomorrow you will lose more. In fact, judging by the amount of complaints about your store on various websites, Target is already wondering through the Valley of Death. Very few retailers ever made it back from out there.

Second to Walmart in carrying items we all need. Good prices and good return policies.
This Lady cashier named Varsha has no respect. Upon check-in the booth she spoke very rudely to me and her eyes we're so mean like she will gonna eat me. She never spoke to me before and after finished the transaction. I dont like her impolite manners with other cashiers. I've waited in line for 30 minutes and never get a comp[liment even THANK YOU at the end. This Girl must learn her lesson or terminate her.
I can't say enough about how much I love Target. I go at least once a week and find the best bargains. There sale items are sometimes up to 70% off can't beat those deals.
The prices rival walmart, but the store is neat and clean and the quality of stuff is by far better than walmart. I'd buy clothes at target, i'd rather go naked than buy clothes at walmart.
I was able to print photos without issue. They looked great! I thought I was going to have trouble with the photo size, but they look like the photos I would have printed from disposable cameras. Excellent quality. Arrived on time!
Close by so we use them for a lot of different products. The Super stores can get a little crowed on weekends but they have always been quick and polite about their customer service!
Why do I go to Target? Not just to buy but to relax. I just like to stroll around and look at all the new deals and products.
Being a college student is tough enough so the great prices here really help out with my budget.
I really like their prices, and that they price match. I have had the easiest time making a return. Super customer service, and great prices - you can't beat that!
Buyer Beware; Target charges almost 25% interest on their credit cards!
I like Target they ship my items out really fast, plus I love their customer service. If something they ship doesn't work out or doesn't fit, I can return them at a walk in store and they are always very helpful.
They do it for me much less even than Walmart. Their stores look clean enough, no problem there but I just don't like the "feel" if you know what I mean.
Love the store and the website has saved me so many times.
Shop and ship to my kids, it is awesome.
They don't care about their customers. They have lost my business completely.
I order some dresses from Target, Ordered one day evening and it was on my doorstep next day lunch time. Magnificent Shipping
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
