I'm a reviewer, so here goes. I went to the new Take 5 Oil Change place today in Salem, Ohio. The place was very clean. They gave me a nice cold bottled water and Jadyn some fruit snacks and a Capri sun. There were 4 employees there. A sweet girl, 2 sweet guys and a lady-man, who seemed to be the manager. Their prices, firstly, are ridiculous. Over $100 for full synthetic. There is a sign out front that says $20 off ANY oil change. The only reason why I went there, as opposed to that awesome place next to Wendy's. The lady-man told me that that didn't apply to the lowest priced oil change I wanted. I said there's a sign out front that says on any oil change. She's like, really?! Omgosh. You're probably at the shop every day Then she continues to tell me that she's going through menopause (hence the mustache). She said she's hot constantly and it took away her sex drive. Really? With my 10 year old in the car. Everyone, but her, was great. They were all professional and kind. She was not. She was actually mean to them and rolling her eyes at them. I asked if they had been busy that day and they said absolutely not. There is a reason. I don't recommend this business.
Amazing service, nick and Daniel and I forgot the other guys name but all 3 were sufficient in making sure I was aware of things I needed on my vehicle and very helpful with assisting with a few of them. They need raises because I was only there 30 minutes and everything worked efficiently and they made my customer service experience informative and comfortable.I recommend everyone to take their vehicles there. Outstanding service guys!
Worst service today at take 5 Baytown Texas on Baker road. I had to wait 20 minutes in my car to get pulled into a bay. Once pulled in Mario walked away not saying a word to me or touching my truck. I sat there 15 more minutes then he walks by and I asked why no o e had done anything and he told me he was talking to his manager and continued to keep walking. I told him to close my hood and went and talked to the manager which all he said to me was he was having Mario order lunch. There was a at least six other people working and only one was concerned and she opened my hood and shrugged her shoulders and started working on the car that was behind me in line. The manager was useless and offered no solution or apology. I will never go back.
I just received an full synthetic oil change on my 1.4 L Buick. They charged me $140 for the service. That is beyond robbery. $#*! company, I will never ever use again
The guys were great! Great service, courteous and polite. Really fast service! They didn't try to sell me extra stuff because I'm a woman like other places do. They gave me a discount because I had to wait 15 minutes to be helped. 15 minutes! I was waiting 45 minutes to an hour at Pep Boys when I had an appointment! I will make this my go to place from now on. Great job guys!
I've been driving for over 55 yrs. Had many oil changes. Your putting the wrong message out front! The faster they are, the more the chances there are for ERRORS. Like not tightening the the plug. Or over looking any problems. Been there, done that too many times. You can come up a better slogan than that. For the $ you paid for it. When folks get older they can depend on ur service. People on the go don't get it. Your ads feature stupid people. Not funny! I can come up with a better campaign for free!
Rude manager, over priced. I just stopped by and wanted to find out what they charge, here is what happened: July 3,2023 at 1300 hours, I stopped by the location at 5400 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM ******* to find out what you charge for an oil change. The young man I spoke to told me he would first have to look up my car specs, when I pushed for an answer, he pointed to a sign stating that is the price based on a max of 5 quarts. At that time an older individual came out and admonished me stating I did not have to raise my voice, he was identified as a manager. I have a fleet of vehicles, but if that is the kind of attitude of their manager has, they will not get our business.
I have been to more than one location but the 1204 university location in Jacksonville is horrible. The approach to the garage was difficult so i had to take a couple swings at it to get in. Inconvenience but okay. Didn't hit that red pole. Didn't scrape my fender. Then the attendant came up to the car and said he would not service the car and i had to go. He gave no reason and said he would call the police. So I left. Customer service did not respond to my calls. The service attendant was skinny, unkempt rude and and would have been threatening if he was not so sickly. Don't subject yourself to this type of abuse
While removing my air filter, I watched the technician yank it and twist it. When the other technician showed me, he said your air filter is in bad shape, it's out of proportion and the plastic is broken. I said, I know. I just watched the other guy twist and break it. I can see what you're doing through the space between the hood and the engine. Denied, but offered to sell me another one for $30. I declined. I watched him touch all the areas he was supposed to be checking, fluids, etc. never actually opened anything, but claimed he filled my washer fluid. I said no, you didn't. Had to ask then to check my tires, supposed to be part of the service. NEVER going back.
Outstanding service they were like a pit crew for NASCAR. Alex, Sam,amber, James and Jayden. Got me out of there in no time. Randy does an excellent job at managing the place.! Highly recommend a Wadsworth location
I had my oil change at Take 5 in Ft. Worth, TX. On Ap, 20ril 14,2023. On May 3rd 2023 while driving on Loop 820 my car stopped running. Not knowing what was wrong I had my car towed to Sewell service center. At which time it was discovered that the vehicle only had 1.25 quarts of oil. And the engine was a total loss. When I contacted Take 5 they said they had to be the first ones to see the car or they weren't liable. Since I had just changed oil two weeks prior the last thing I expected was no oil in the car. Plus my car wasn't running so why would I have it towed to an oil change store. Needless to say I have got no type of compensation from Take 5.
I took my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL there on 5/20/23. Lube tech neglectfully forgot to put my radiator cap back on caused my car to run hot and destroyed my radiator, my car has been at dealership for 4 weeks, company refuses to pay for their negligence, I wish I could figure out how to give them negative stars but I can't submit unless I put at least 1 star, don't take your car there, RUN!
I just went to get my oil changed and the whole crew was so positive. I didnt catch all of their names, but Conner was helpful, honest, and upbeat. I'll never go anywhere else for my oil changes. :)
I just wanted to say that James and Hope the tech in the Pooler GA area was very nice and showed GREAT customer service when I got my malibu service keep up the good work most importantly customer service awesome job!

Service good. Only issue is price. 5 qts $65. Extra quart $10. Plus shop supplies that everyone adds to run up the bill. This oil change (6.5 qts) was $80. Previous oil change at private shop was $43 I will not go back
I went in for an oil change. Sat there for 15 min before someone acknowledged me. Sat for another 10 min still no service. In pulls another car with a young white woman in it...she was greeted immediately. 10 min later she's pulling her car in and I'm still sitting there waiting. Finally got fed up and left. Will never grace this business ever again.
They offered cold water, changed and did all maintenance quickly and made jokes to make the time go by faster, in all it was a good experience.
Well, I took my new suv to take 5 in Pinellas Park, FL and I am beyond disappointed my sub is now at Firestone because they forgot to do something either tighten bolt honestly o don't know much about cars but Firestone has said they have had multiple problems with take 5 and customers coming in with the same problem oil brand new oil all over my driveway if I wouldn't have noticed it my engine could have blown up now my check engine light is on the temp light is on and says needs oil change. I will never I repeat never go to take 5 again. Called and put a claim in with customer service and the manager of take 5 still has yet to call me. Disgusting I paid 100 dollars for and oil change for this to happen are you kidding me!
