I have you Swiss colony a couple of times and been very disappointed! Not only is the cheese and sausages just the same thing you can get at the grocery store, but they also charge over $20 for shipping! A real rip-off! I will not buy from them again!
Ordered over 3 weeks ago and waited and waited...
Then stuff came all melted and gross... Were going to be a wedding gift now there just a 95.00 snack

SCAM ALERT! Long story short, they mailed me a bill for the products purchased, when I went online to pay the bill, I received multiple errors that "my account couldn't be found." So, after a call to the company telling me the same thing, I forgot about it (thought maybe I had paid in full at time of purchase and the bill was an error). Nope, received another bill, this time with late fees, when I called again I was told they would add even more fees if I paid over phone, and needed to pay online, even though AGAIN my account could not be found. So I reached out AGAIN via email to customer service, who assured me they would take care of the outstanding late fee (I had already mailed a check with balance on account), THEY DID NOT, BUT INSTEAD REPORTED ME TO CREDIT BUREAU. An absolute scam. DO NOT ORDER. Also, in dealing with this learned they ARE NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Wish I had known this.
Why do they give the delivery option for a specific day if they cannot fulfill it? I don't usually write bad reviews but when you place an order early and pay a lot in shipping so that they arrive on a specific date and damage the event and make a bad impression on the customer, it's time to let them know that there are many other companies that offer similar services. And with a better customer service. DO NOT use it, my mistake in not checking these reviews beforehand.
My family and I have been ordering from this company for years now with absolutely no problems whatsoever. However, I had a late delivery recently that has since been solved; my issue was with a customer service representative I spoke to about the late delivery inquiry. She was unbelievably rude, just raising her voice and yelling, being very impatient and snappy if I did not answer her questions quick enough. If all that wasn't already unnecessary and unprofessional enough, she actually hung up in my face! Swiss Colony, if you come across these reviews, please do not disregard your customers complaints. Please always teach and remind your employees to value and appreciate their customers, to treat them with respect, or in the future, there will be no customers left. The only reason I am giving a rating less than a 5-star is because of that unexpected customer service incident. Otherwise, the products I received were perfect as usual and everything else was beyond satisfactory. Thank you.
This company has a policy that allows people to "buy now and pay later." Yet they have no control over this scheme. I was supposedly sent a cake by a person. I did not order it, nor want it. However, the person took the buy now pay later option. 7 months later I received the bill for the order. When I called customer service, they verified that another person had ordered the cake, but then refused to tell me anymore or delete me as the person who owed money to them. Instead I was sent to Loss Prevention, and spoke with a woman named Tracy who clearly has never actually done any fraud investigation in her life. Despite immediately placing the account in fraud status, this company is now requiring that I go through a dispute to prove I never ordered it. They have the account number and can look up who set up the account (not me) and applied for their credit (as it requires a social security number) and refuse to do so. They even then acknowledged that the cake that was supposed to be sent to me was never delivered but somehow want money for it? Save yourself the hassle and order from a company with values. This company has none.
I recently ordered from Swiss colony they delivered my stuff but they delivered it to somebody else. When we called to ask where our order was the supervisor told us it was delivered. Then she told us to kock on everyone's door in the neighborhood and ask for our order. Do not order from this company their delivery service is Is irresponsible can't read and cannot follow directions it seems like the people they hire to delivery are all idiots. Don't order from this company order elsewhere.
I ordered from Swiss Colony on the credit I have had for years. They would not process the orders and finally cancelled them. I am 83 years old and the only way I can send Christmas presents is through mail order. My daughter contacted the corporate office and I reordered for the fifth time. Finally they sent the orders. All the orders were late and followed by bill addressed to and in the name of each recipient. Now they will not allow me to pay the bills because they are investigating me for fraud. I can't sleep because of this mess. No one at Swiss Colony will take ownership for this mess.
I ordered New Years gifts from this company for my business partners, typed in FIVE different addresses on the site for them to be delivered to along with notes to all of them. THEY WERE DELIVERED TO MY DOORSTEP. That was not how they were ordered. They are refusing to give me my money back. Now they want me to donate the items to a food bank and reorder AT MY EXPENSE. I will not be going anywhere during COVID19. That was the whole point of having things delivered to people individually. Do not ever order from this company. They are treating me like I'm some kind of idiot. I didn't spend 30 minutes looking up addresses, writing individual notes to have them delivered here. Side note: if their items are perishable as they so state in their email to me, why were they not delivered in ice, rather just thrown on my doorstep. Again DO NOT EVER ORDER from them. You got my hard earned $208.00., I hope that makes you happy.
This is one of the most unhealthy things I could eat. Read the label. Also it must have been left over from Christmas 2019. It was nearly impossible to cut, and the small chunks that resulted had a very unhealthy taste. Sriss Colony, you should get an A-plus for contributing to the obeseity epidemic.

They assured me my order would be there for Christmas it was for my mother in assisted living center as you know we can't visit and to another elderly person. They lied and didn't send any type of notice. I will be sending every thing back and canceling my account what a terrible Christmas my mom is very dear to me and to have her think I forgot about her on Christmas day broke my heart. Rest assure I told both not to even open the boxes because im sending every thing back. They lied and im not ok with that wtf... stay away
This has been an awful experience and the results were only magnified by the extremely poor quality of product. Not edible. Left a cheap extract taste in your mouth. Every piece tasted the same. Shame on you swiss colony. The tin of christmas hard candy contained a small bag of cheap dollar store candy that identical can be purchased at the Dollar Store for $1. The tin was okay but the bag of candy only filled it a third of the way and the pieces were crushed with absolutely not one piece of ribbon candy. Poor poor customer service. I could go on and on and on but won't waste anymore time until we've sampled the rest
My grandfather and grandmother ordered over $400 worth of product from Swiss colony and has never received any of it. We called today, 2 days before Christmas, to find out they canceled the order without telling them. No phone call, no letter, not anything. These were Christmas presents for the family and they had to rush out 2 days before Christmas to try and find gifts for 5 different families. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. You all should be ashamed of yourself for running a so called business like this. So thank you for ruining Christmas for our family.
I put in two orders as gifts and received confirmation they would be delivered by 12/24. The first order made it, no issue. I heard nothing from the second order. Since the expected time was close, I checked the order status and, to my shock, there was no status. I messaged the customer service to see what is going on and apparently they were unable to fill the order. I was relying on this order to come through and Swiss Colony sent NO correspondence advising of their inability to fulfill my order. As such, I was unaware I needed to make other arrangements, which I cannot do now.
Point being, if you expect Swiss Colony to fulfill your order and communicate with you then you're likely to be out of luck. Go with one of their many competitors who have earned their high ratings. Swiss Colony seems to work hard to earn every low rating they have received.
We ordered A Christmas Gift wanted this delivered The Week of Christmas. When all Family members would be there to enjoy.
This Arrived Dec 10 so was not enjoyed by all, had to send an additional gift so it would be there Christmas week.
Customer service said they deal with to high of volume to honor a delivery date.
This is a problem of a company getting to big.
Spend your money with a company that still has customer service
Placed a Christmas gift order and paid extra for expedited shipping. To have been delivered on 12/23. On 12/21 I went to check on my order to find that it had not been shipped with a note saying "A letter was sent to you on 12/20" A letter? No email, no phone call, nothing. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will never do business with them again.
Oh, how surreal a bad customer service experience can a person have?
I had ordered presents for a number of people online. I got some of the presents, along with a letter saying I needed to call them to order alternative items because some weren't available.
Huh. So, why were they selling items that were unavailable? The website certainly showed they were available. Any other e-commerce company would have sent an email immediately saying that something was unavailable, but apparently not Swiss Colony. No, they have to send a snail-mail "call us" letter that arrives the same day as the package.
That's when things got REALLY surreal. I called their main customer service number that was in my emails. I couldn't speak with anyone unless I answered a survey COMPLETELY UNRELATED to the business I had with them, and NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. The questions were whether there were any people over 50 in my household, and if anyone in my household has a car. I did not press any buttons. Rather than letting me through to the main menu, their system hung up on me. That's a deal-ender right there, for ever spending money with them again.
I looked for another number, and discovered that the letter had an alternative to call. After a long wait, I got to one rep who apparently was in the wrong department and couldn't do anything. Another long wait, and I finally talked to someone who could. It turned out that the letter was a lie. I didn't need to call them. The one good thing in all this nonsense was that they apparently don't charge for items they can't fulfill. However, might they just want to SAY that in an email showing an adjusted charge and a list of items that ARE coming?
Horrible communications, horrible service, and apparently predatory survey gatekeeping which, I'm sure, will tie people's phone numbers back to their answers for future marketing by their "partners." In all, never again.
Kept getting the run a round regarding why my order would not ship. Customer service wa rude and only would say unfortunately there is nothing we can do.
When I received my order last year, I noticed that the meats, cheeses, and other items were significantly smaller in size compared to years past. I still got charged the same amount though! The flavors of the soft cheeses were also a bit "off". I wrote a letter to Swiss Colony expressing my concern over this, and explaining that we have been long time customers. I never heard a word back from them. They may be yet another company that are just letting themselves go. What a shame.
I order an item that they said was available two days later they cancel my order claiming it was unavailable at this time. (Bate and Switch) So in haste I order another item I was unsure the person I was giving it to would enjoy it. I Tried to cancel it with in 30 minutes, first call did not go through 3 emails no replies. 2nd phone the representative assured me it was canceled because it hadn't been shipped yet. Two days later I was informed because my emails came "after the produce was shipped I could not cancel them" I wished I would have read the reviews before ordering from this company.
Answer: I have a family member who's dicover that he's very sick and has only a half of a year to live and I know he's doing his best to keep strong but he's on stage 4 of cancer colon cancer do I would like to shop here for there little family he's a great man good daddy and wonderful husband so how do I join your team
