My stuff was supposed to be shipped out by December 22. I didn't want it delivered the 18th and it's gonna be out for delivery today for my sister in pa. I'm not too happy about that but it won't happen again for sure..
Placed an order to come during Christmas I got the bill pay two bills I want to check the water there was no order I called the people don't speak no English the guy said I need to talk to a specialist and hung up on me I called back and I got the same thing again horrible place to buy from never again finally I got customer service a woman speaks perfect English
I bought an item that stated it had free shipping! A week later the product was $8 cheaper. When I called to inquire why, they said the product I shipped was including the shipping charge. So, I really did not get free shipping …did I. Wow. I'm really disappointed in you Swiss colony. That's really manipulative.
Received two of The Swiss Colony 27 variety pack. (#715) Price w/tax & shipping was over $82. That comes out to $41 per box. The cheese & meats were so small they weren't worth serving to guests. (unless you only had 2 guests) We will never order from this company again.
I ordered Swiss Colony product from a 3rd party because it was free shipping on December 8th and it was supposed to be delivered on December 23rd, but because of the lack of response from Swiss Colony I was encouraged to cancel the order from the 3rd party. After three attempts to contact Swiss Colony and two attempts to cancel the order through the 3rd party, I heard nothing from Swiss Colony. As a result, I purchased the item from Swiss Colony directly. I received a call today from the receiver of the gift and they thanked me. So the item was not canceled, Swiss Colony never contacted the 3rd party, and they never responded to me until today - after the product was delivered. As a result, I tried to call Swiss Colony today to cancel the direct order - no one is answering their phones due to a high call volume and told to call back later. An email is also posted on their site to contact customer service. I have sent three emails - I have not heard anything. So since December 12th when all this started Swiss Colony has not contacted me at all. I received an email stating that the item has been shipped. Completely asinine - it went from pending, to processing, and now shipping within one hour. It states on their website that you can click the cancel button - there was no cancel button for the order. The company is a joke and just not customer focused.
I would give 0 stars if I could! I placed an order online and when I received a shipping notification, the address was completely different than the one I gave. I called and fixed the address. A few days later I received another shipping notification and the rep that I spoke with had apparently typed in part of the address incorrectly. I called to AGAIN fix the address, however the items had already shipped. They corrected the address a third time, but were out of 2 of the 3 items and would not substitute anything. I was stuck having to place a last minute order through another company. I will NEVER order from Swiss Colony again!
Ordered items in November to be delivered December 13. Got an email on December 1st that my order was shipped. On December 9 that my order was delivered and left at the front door. Never got it. Took over a day to get in touch with them to tell them I didn't receive it only to be told Fed Ex says I did. Had to argue with them and talk to multiple people telling them they must have delivered it to the wrong address to get a credit. Second half of the order came 2 days later. After sitting for 10 days at the Fed Ex depot and spending over 12 hours on the truck waiting to be delivered the cheese was like mush. Called again and got a credit for that. Will never order from them again.
I have been a customer with swiss colony for 10 years I have a credit card with a $1650 limit. I always get stuff for the holidays. This year I ordered about $400 worth of stuff for my work crew. After waiting a week for my order I called to check on it and was told they wanted a $95 deposit. I don't understand why after all this time. Needless to say a week before Christmas I'm scrambling to find 35 new gifts for my work crew. I will never order from this company again nor will I recommend it to anyone
Last year I ordered from Swiss Colony. The order came after Christmas which left me in a bind. I thought I would give them another chance this year. Once again they ticked me off. I live in a state where food, that is consumed at home, is exempt from sales tax. Swiss Colony tried to charge sales tax on my order. They also tried to charge $1.99 extra for special charge on shipping. I told them the $1.99 was not on the order form I sent and what they did was illegal. They agreed to take it off but refused to take off the sales tax saying there was nothing they could do. I told them what they are doing is illegal in my state and I cancelled the order. They cancelled the order and said they will send a refund. That was 6 weeks ago. No refund yet. They sure don't mind taking your money in a second, yet takes their sweet time refunding it. Never again will I order from them. Note to all of you who live in a state where food is exempt from sales tax, check your invoice and see if they illegally charged you a tax. Notify the BBB and your state attorney general.
We ordered, for the first time, from Swiss Colony. They charged an outrageous amount (almost 50% of the cost of the products) for shipping. We assumed (foolishly) that would equate to stellar delivery. It was (and still is) the exact opposite. For the first 5 days we received NO updates. When we inquired, Swiss Colony told us it would arrive "tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went, as well as many other "tomorrows" that were promised. Our order still has not arrived. Yesterday we found out, after pressuring Fed Ex, their delivery service, that Swiss Colony uses "GROUND, ECONOMY SHIPPING" and they literally have no idea when our product will arrive. ("Delivery date is pending. No updates available.") We contacted Customer Service multiple times and only received canned responses and false promises. What a horrific experience it has been. Our advice: do not purchase from this company.
I placed and order a week ago for my granddaughter's Christmas present. I received a catalog indicating I am pre-approved and when I placed my one item which was about $40 the person told me my purchase will be delivered on December 9th 2021 he didn't ask me anything about how I would pay i assumed my credit was as they said PRE-APPROVED, which was fine. After several days and not receiving an email regarding my credit approval and informing me how much I need to pay a month, I called back and again I was told I will be receiving an email in a day are so, again NOTHING no email, no telephone call, no denial letter, NOTHING! So I called back for the third time because I didn't want my gift to be sold out, so I spoke to a gentleman he was nice but couldn't answer my credit question and transferred me to customer service, and she couldn't answer my credit question and transferred me to a woman in credit who hung up on me! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY... RUN! AND PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FOR ALL FUTURE CATALOGS!
I ordered Christmas gifts last year, and paid the bill in full on time. Trying to place a new order from a new catalog they sent, and am being refused credit, even though they show I have $400 limit and account is in good standing. Guess they do not want my business.
The on line ordering is not at all conducive to multiple shipping addresses (although they say it is). Shipping is ridiculously expensive. I just got my $20 fruitcake-- it is literally 4" x 2". Not at all worth it. Their signature dobosh torte is good but gets smaller each year. Sadly, this will be the last year i order from them, thus ending a 50 year family tradition.
I purchased the old fashioned candy mix. I paid 36 dollars for 2 lbs. When I received it, it didn't look anything like the picture on line. The flavors all tasted the same. I thought it would be rich in many different flavors. It was all stuck together. Poor quality. I will never order from them again.
I ordered a basket to be delivered to a family member. The very next morning I received an email confirmation that the shipment was coming to me and if there were any errors on this order to contact them. I immediately sent an email and then called them. I got the total run around and ended up sending 4 emails and 3 phone calls only to be told it was too late and there was nothing they could do. Everyone I spoke to head rude and didn't care. Such bull$#*! considering I just placed the order literally the night before and double checked the address to make sure it was getting delivered correctly. NEVER AGSIN!
I got the coconut cheesecake and I'm so disappointed. It's sickening sweet with a chemical after taste and none of the tang you expect from a standard cheesecake. The texture is more like a custard than cheesecake even after chilling. One of the worst things I've received from this company.
Ordered 3 things from Swiss Colony... I didn't want to wait for them to take my payment so I talked with them for an hour until one of their credit people said that they could charge me right away. I was cool with that. Their credit person said they had full payment, my bank card said they had full payment... But then yesterday they called and said that it declined when they went to ship it out.
I called Swiss Colony twice explained that I was told by their representative and my bank that they already had my money. Waste of time talking to 2 different people. Told me it was an authorization hold on my card, authorization? I asked to be outright charged for the items! And they took my money for the full payment!
So no happy with being lied to on the phone either last week or today or both.
Either you took my full payment like my bank says and the person last week said or you didn't, at this rate I don't care.
I don't recommend anyone buying from them if they can't get their business straight. I feel lied to by their employees and robbed.
First of all trying to understand someone from the Philippines to take your order. Second if all scamming the $1.99 insurance as a monthly charge! At first I said ok. But she failed to tell me it would be monthly. When I said no I don't want it she said she couldn't take it off. I wanted to speak to a manager, but was told she wasn't available! If a company is trying to gain customers they providing good service to them!
I placed an order on 10/21/2021, and i got all my items on 10/24/2021, that fast service and very dependable and liable company. I am very happy with them as i am every year. Been a customer for years, great company, and great prices and the customer service people are always kind and friendly on the phone, i highly recommend them to everyone.
I've been ordering with this company for over 10 years. Up until last year, they were doing good for me. However, last Christmas, a week before the holiday, they contacted me to tell me that a gift order for my mother was out of stock. She lives across the miles so to scramble with a Plan B gift was impossible. I vowed never to do business with them again. Since I'm a forgiving person, I thought since a year had past, I would give them another chance. I apprehensively ordered something for my mother again with a week before her birthday. I got a call telling me that there was a problem with the order. Here we go again. If you plan to order from this company, I implore you to make certain that you have a Plan B in place because this company is untrustworthy and will screw everything up.
