I ordered 8 blankets and sock sets for Christmas gifts. I received 1 that was spelled wrong. The correct spelling is STEPHANIE, So I called the company and told them of the mistake and they were sending out another one corrected. Well as it is my Christmas gift was a week late and today on 1/2/2023 I received the second one with the name STILL spelled wrong. It is NOT STEPHNAIE! As you can tell I'm not to happy. I will keep the 2 mistakes because at this point it's not worth it to me. I will pay my monthly bill until it is paid off. I do not consider using this company again. Thank you for your time.

Very happy with everything i ordered. Beef log is always fresh. Chocolate delicious. Everything came on time or early. Seafood dips are very good. My mom ordered for years and now that my mom is no longer with us, i order. And i am hoping that my niece and nephews will continue ordering when they are older with families.

I received my $200 order NO Cheese logs In 2 of my what I attended to give as Christmas Presents. BUT I did receive damn Chocolate Balls from the Dollar Tree would've been a credit to what I got for my $200 order. I'm going to keep the gift boxes or Buy more cheese to give. Honestly, I'm embarrassed to give the 2 sets! I've never received such $#*! from them. I do know I'll Never order from them Again. Waste of Money and Waste of Time! Folks save your hard earned money shop elsewhere! Oh and the Size of what's in those boxes even more of a Embarrassment! Never Again Never Again. Don't have to take my word apparently A LOT more folks thinks the same scroll through the reviews! One thing I do know word of mouth travels fast!

Poor service

I did my order for Christmas delivery. They mailed it out on the 10th of December and today is the 26th of December and I have yet to receive my order.
When I called to find out what could be done, they just kept telling me that I would get it by 24 December.
They offer no recourse for their quarantine delivery.
I will never order from them again. Customer service is a joke and they were/are rude

Very slow shipping

Very disappointed. I ordered a Christmas gift thinking there is still plenty of time for delivery but items were shipped from state to state and now it won't be delivered until after Christmas! Not ordering from them again and shipping was expensive. Not worth it.

My family and family business has been sending out gifts and ordering for our family for at least 35 years. Myself and my children have enjoyed Swiss Colony every Christmas as long as I can remember. I placed an order a month ago which 1 item was sold out. The company reached out and asked me to pick another item to replace it with, which I did. I received the order with out the replacement and I reached out to find out what happened. I explained to customer service what had happened through multiple emails and never being able to get through on the phone due to lines being busy. I was asked what I would like to replace and was under the assumption that that would be sent due to the company's mistake. Again after 3 weeks of emailing. Then the last email after I going the customer service what I would like to replace, was telling me to place a new order? So they company makes a mistake and I'm supposed to pay the shipping cost again? I reached out with this response as to why I need to be paying shipping again and have been totally ignored. Horrible business and they have lost a life long customer. Hickory Farms will now have my family's business.

Decided this would be a great gift idea. Ordered for 2 people and had a bonus coupon. They attached the coupon (a large box of chocolates) to my first order which was going to a severely overweight, diabetic individual. 3 emails and 2 calls later assuring me it was changed, it wasn't! Also no note was attached so they didn't know where it came from even though I attached one to the order. Hope their food is better!

Do NOT trust this company AVOID at all cost

This was my first purchase from this company as I heard good things about it from friends. I placed an order for ONE item with a 20% promo code and free shipping sitewide. My order total was $25.59 once I finalized it. I received an Order Acknowledgement email with a billing total of $50.58. I never agreed to pay that price. I emailed and tried calling to cancel but no response. The consumer has 24 hours to cancel, which I did way before that time frame.
UPDATE: customer service issued a refund...will see if I actually get it

Don't buy; don't trust

About a year ago I set up account. Moved in June, changed address on account. Placed order online but they didn't show it on my account. I thought the order had not gone through; waited over a week, still no show. I placed the order this time getting a confirmation number from them. Now they want me to pay for TWO orders - neither one of which show up on my account. I contacted them by email and they said I set up new account - nope; just a change of address. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

What happened Swiss Colony?

I remember the Petits Fours from my childhood. They were always a big treat around this time of year. My grandfather always got a box. Fast forward 45 years. I was so excited when we got our osder This was the first time buying from Swiss Colony and not impressed at all. Maybe it is because they were in the refrigerator but very dry and not at all what I remember. Gonna keep the box out and try another. Hoping for improvement don't want to give my family something they wont enjoy...

Cookie Swap

My Aunt sent me and my family the most amazing cookies from Swiss Colony last Christmas. It was like taking a trip back to my childhood at Christmas time. I wanted to place the identical order and spoke to my Aunt, asking which cookies she had ordered. She actually had the receipt on-hand and read it off to me. I placed the identical order, only to discover that while the title for this variety of cookies was the same -the cookies had in fact changed! They did however, have the identical assortment of cookies under a different product name. I called less than 12 hours from the time my order had been placed and BEFORE anything had even shipped. Customer service basically told me that there was nothing they could do for me and suggested that I create a whole new order. Obviously, I was not intending on spending $90 on Christmas cookies. So, I ended up leaving a negative review on their site, to which they responded. They wanted to somehow make things right. I went back and forth several times via their customer service email. They wanted me to either choose something similar to the cookies I ordered, which would have been the correct Spring Cookies obviously! Either that or settle for a price adjustment. This is their message word for word: Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you. Your business is important to us, and your complete satisfaction is guaranteed! As your order has shipped, no further changes can be made; however, we do want to correct this situation for you. Please let us know your choice - a replacement of an item like the Holiday Cookies or an adjustment. As soon as we receive your response (including the item number if you would like something similar), we will proceed accordingly.

Guaranteed?...Well, I just wanted the right cookies from the start. I asked for the cookies under the different name (Spring Cookies). They reply stating that those cookies are no longer available, even though they show up as being available on their website. This is what I got back: Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you. We apologize that the item you requested, A*******, is not available at this time. Every effort is made to create a catalog that provides variety and interest to everyone. Occasionally, some items must be deleted to make way for new ones.
No response when I asked for an adjustment either. None. What I got back was my original shipping confirmation for the wrong cookies and no price adjustment whatsoever.

They waited until the item shipped and then failed to honor what they had offered me for my aggravation. So pointless and all too time consuming.

I have ordered seasonally from Swiss Colony many years ago as well. I was a loyal customer, but I will never shop them ever again. Scrolling through their reviews says a lot. Stale cookies and far too many changes with their products. No thanks.

I love there meat and cheese but there chocolate is too rich for me but it is still very good I love the assortment of items you can buy off there web site and catalog also a really great price on everything I end up spending a lot of money because how good they actually are you can get anywhere from coats to vests coffee machines summer Sausage to game to turkey to cheese candy chocolates cakes pies cheese cakes cookies just about ever You could imagine I absolutely love this company regardless to the bad reviews cause who cares if it comes early I sure don't still got quality products

Placed order 12/3 - NOT Shipped Yet

Update: Fed-Ex received the product(s) for shipping on 12/13 and they were delivered today 12/14. Received e-mail from customer service saying items were shipped on 12/5 and to expect up to 10 days delivery time. I think when your products sit in limbo for 10 days (i.e. Label created/not sent to fed-ex yet) - and you have conflicting info (yes they shipped 12/5 - No Fed Ex has not received until 12/13) - it is worrisome for the customer. All they'd have to say is when you place the order "expect delays after creating label"...

I placed an order (2 gifts to 2 different addresses) on 12/3. The label was printed on 12/8. The current Status is FED EX has
NOT received the product yet to SHIP. Today is Dec 13th - that is 10 days.

I called Customer Service, could NOT get thru. I don't think that would help anyhow, based on other reviews. When I check with automated phone system, it says shipped on 12/5. Nope not according to Fed Ex tracking they have NOT even received the product yet, therefore they can not give me a delivery date. They could send out e-mails saying "expect delays" or something, instead of outright lying about it.

Dishonest. Scam. Ripoff

This company is unethical, inefficient, and very poor customer service. Avoid them entirely. I've never been so angry with a company. They will lie. Never again. What a waste of time and money. I absolutely promise to file complaints with BBB and FTC. A class action lawsuit would be appropriate. I have just finished reading the reviews of 128 complaints similar to mine, all within the last year or so. I'm sure that the real number of people scammed by this company is at least 100 times higher-most people don't take the time to leave reviews. It's obvious that Swiss Colony is intentionally fraudulent in its business practices and should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. I will be looking into this further. It's time businesses remember who keeps them in business. They are not above the law. I have no intention of doing anything less, I'm sick of being rolled over by scammers. I'm going to make it my mission to see this through. Should utter and flagrant fraud like this can be ignored? What a disgrace to those who founded this company. Shame on you. I'm not kidding. You stressed me out and disrespected me directly in addition to wasting my time and causing me to change my holiday plans. I won't rest until every customer you have ripped off is compensated.

Not the best experience

I wish I would have checked out their reviews before ordering, but I've seen them for years and years so thought it would be great. It was a gift so I asked for the delivery to be made on 12/16 but got notification that it would be delivered on the 7th, which it wasn't and it was finally delivered on the 9th. The first box anyways, the second one, which were chocolates were delivered the next day and just left at the door. What a mess! Will never order again, or recommend this company!

For the third time I have ordered Christmas gifts for people on my list who live away. This year was especially bad because some gifts were RECEIVED before December 1st. The man who took my long order, over the phone, guaranteed me numerous times that the SHIPPING day on all 12 orders was December 12th. Inappropriate and so disappointing. It would have been much less embarrassing had the packages not arrived until after Christmas than a few days after Thanksgiving.
