Despite pictures of fully assembled kit and "turn key" language in description this bundle does not include key elements of high hat stand, snare stand and bass pedal. The recommended package to add is close to $800 more.
Rather than the hassle of repackaging and eating the high shipping cost of returning multiple boxes we are going to purchase needed equipment elsewhere and never do business with sweetwater again.
Shame cause experience has been good before. But frankly feel package was misrepresented and my son was of course so disappointed he could not play his Christmas gift.
Not sure if other packages have same elements missing. Regardless will be adding same review across Google and all other relevant sites.
I bought from Sweetwater from the first time online when I had to replace a sustain pedal for my keyboard. When I plugged the new pedal in, the pedal functioned in damper instead of sustain, and I couldn't figure out how to switch the mode back. One of the sweet water rep's emailed me to follow-up on my purchase, and when I told him about my experience, he gave me step-by-step instructions to switch back the pedal function for my 20 year old Roland keyboard, which immediately worked. Very satisfied with the product, price, and service!
I live in San Antonio and we have a few little music shops in addition to Guitar Center which is the retail music store. After shopping Sweetwater, I will never shop the others again. Not only are the prices comparable, the customer service was phenomenal. I placed 2 orders and after each other, I was personally called by a Sweetwater rep confirming my order and letting me know the shipping details. I was kept updated via email on the delivery status. My order was delivered on time. I ordered a Boss pedal, Wah pedal, connector cables, 18" cymbal, and cymbal attachment, I was so impressed with the security of the packaging. I 100% would recommend Sweetwater to anyone looking to purchase anything music related. Thank you Sweetwater for making this Christmas purchase so easy and enjoyable.

Our daughter absolutely loved this as her first guitar. She has played it non-stop and has used the free lessons it came with to learn to play. The customer service from start to finish has been excellent.

This year, I ordered two things, and again, out of stock, and they weren't sure when it would be in. It's Christmas, I'm ordering Christmas presents - no, I can't wait until it's back in stock. Their job is to make you happy. Any technical questions, item availability, troubleshooting, and general issues are handled by your service team. Their vaunted Sales Engineers are overrated. I'm currently working on keyboards, yet they coupled me with a drummer. Like he can make recommendations? And their reliance on FedEx to deliver their product is extremely disfunctional. FedEx is the WORST delivery company in the world. With me, they have a late delivery rate of at least 90%. Maybe to others that's not important, but to me it shows that you don't care about your customer. And when you call Sweetwater about the delay, they just don't give $#*!. They don't even call back when you leave a voice message for your Sales Engineer. I'm in my third day of attempted delivery, the third day of missing work. All because, I suspect, of Sweetwater requiring a signature because of the cost of the order.
I looked at several online retailers before purchasing a flute case for my daughter and I am so glad I went with Sweetwater! Their prices were significantly lower than other retailers, shipping was free, and I received my order the next day! The case was brand new, in perfect condition, and packaged carefully... and there was candy!

Ok to start off with I bought my Martin Guitar 8 months ago had a very bad experience even then they were very fast to take my money but then the problem's started ok I placed my order and paid two weeks went buy no guitar so I called the salesman said oh you need to pick strings before we mail it out I was like WTF I already did that he said no you need to pick strings ok just put reg martin strings and ship my guitar plz two more weeks went by no guitar so I called salesman told me I need to pick strings again and we need to wait for a bench f@)k wow ok whatever after a month and a half I got it and it's nice well I made up my mind to never deal with them again until now my 8 month old Martin is coming apart the side is separated from the top so I called they are telling me that they need to inspect it before they fix it WHAT fix it I need a new one man like sweetwater can FIX it to Martin standards right so even right now while writing this they still haven't done anything to help me resolve this even though I'm within my one year warranty so what's that say about sweetwater I barely even play this guitar it's brand new except where it's coming apart not one blemish on this thing come on sweetwater do better I paid like $ 850 for a $ 600 dollar guitar just for peace of mind but that has failed someone plz help me I can't afford to just buy another guitar like this one
I have a collection of guitars and amps, some of which came from Sweetwater including a Les Paul Standard and Mesa Boogie Mark 5:25. My latest purchase is a PRS Paul's Guitar SE and it's a great guitar which I will keep. However, it made it through PRS and Sweetwater quality control with the intonation way out of adjustment and cost me an extra $40 to have set correctly. The adjustment set screws were loose indicating they had never been touched. Hope they can improve this.
I ordered a drum tool for my set and the order was through PayPal. So then I get an email from Vanessa, and a phone call from a guy there stating that I had to approve through thier system my PayPal order? So after speaking on the phone to the girl there she tells me to call this other person a guy and have him proces the order? So then he tells me that my PayPal is outdated and I need to call them to give them my card number over the phone? Haha! Not a chance! I instead ordered my part through Sam Ash and had my PayPal go right through with no issues! I'll be ordering from Sam Ash, Guitar Center, Musicians Friend from now on because I've never had problems with any other online music stores.
I have shopped at Sweetwater for a few years and spent thousands of dollars. They text and call you when you place an order. I thought this was a sign of good customer service but I never had a problem until now. FedEx delivered my package to the wrong address. This shouldn't be hard to remedy. I contact Sweetwater and let them know what happened. It took four days before they sent out my replacement package. I had to contact them many times just to get that. The final insult was that they would not ship it to my place. I had to pick up my package at a Walgreens near me. I will never place another order with them.
I went several times and order online. After 30 years making music i say sweetwater are very patient and take time to awnser and suggest other alternatives.
The website said that 12ax7 were available, I called, Jerrod Demott (sales rep) confirmed they were available, gave him my CC number and sent the proof of ownership of my mesa amp, He forgot to place the order, the company ran out of tubes and now its been 4 months and still waiting for the tubes, Spoke to a manager about it, She didn't care. TERRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
