Outstanding Service

I placed an order with Sweetwater and immediately received a call. The representative was pleasant and I was assured of a smooth transaction.
The purchase was quick and effortless. I needed a Taylor 800 series guitar before Christmas and Jon was instrumental in insuring I had the instrument Christmas Eve. Shopping through Sweetwater is almost as good as actually handling the instrument because they take quality photos of the actual instrument you will be buying (serial numbers). I knew what the Taylor model and serial number were when I bought it. Sweetwater will be my "go to" store for buying instruments. I have also ordered smaller items and accessories and they also arrive fast and there have been no negative surprises. Actually there have been some pleasant surprises but you will have to order something to see what I mean. Great Job Sweetwater!

Musical Bargain

The Fishman loudbox mini is a wonderful acoustic amp. I've used one for years.
The Mike stand, microphone Mike cable and amp cover make a wonderful bargain too good to pass up.
The service is always first class thanks to Danielle.

Excellent Experience!

I was looking for a gift for my son for Christmas and extremely pleased with the expert help provided by Mike at Sweetwater. The Orange black stack was a perfect gift and will recommend to anyone that they call them first! Shipping was very fast. It was a very enjoyable and unexpected online experience talking with someone before ordering. Mikes followup call to confirm the equipment arrived safely and was perfect in every way was a bonus.

Not only were my purchases quickly and securely shipped, but the level of personal customer service is unbeatable online. Anthony called me to verify my purchase, as well as ask if I wanted items that were back ordered to hold up the rest or if I wanted the rest to ship since it was near Christmas. He was very knowledgeable about the instruments, accessories, and their shipping and handling process. I have never received such personalized customer care. And he was not pushing me to buy anything other than what I had already purchased. My card was declined for being over my bank's limit (over the weekend), my bank is closed over the weekend, but I was assured I would get the same discount price advertised once I raised the limit through my bank on Monday. Didn't get to order again until Tuesday, but they honored the sale price without hesitation. Everyone I talked to through the entire purchase, and receipt of my instruments was eager to be helpful, not pushy salesmen, and very knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. I loved this experience and will never shop anywhere else for any of my children's musician's needs. I was even told at one point that each customer is assigned a customer service rep to provide individualized assistance as I was. I don't know if this is a small business, but it had that hometown small shop feel, except with the speed and selection of a large corporation. Congratulations, Sweetwater! You've managed to meld the best of both!

Confusing guy

The guy I dealt with at first was great. Pushed me through for flex pay. Told me I can Order it when I was ready. After a weeks of emailing and talking on the phone. Waiting for the guitar I wanted to get for husband to come in. He said they was out of stock in the finish I wanted. I waited 2 weeks for it come in. Then I call the guy and he tells me they don't carry that color that it's special order. Mean while I email him 3 times to sure I was waiting for the right finish. I was waiting for the godin Acs rosewood. I even sent him a video of it to be sure I was getting what my husband wanted. He said it would be 2 day shipping. And I was getting the right one. So when I finally called to order. He tells they don't carry it that color it's a special order. And it will b atleast a week or 2 before it comes in. Then he has the nerve to say he never told me in emails that, that I would be getting the rosewood finish in 2 day shipping. After I have it on record in print that he said, the shipment comes in on the 19th. Why would I wait weeks to order it then.? It was supposed to a Christmas gift. Now it'll be 3 weeks late... It's real cut and dry... He said what I wanted comes in on the 19th I waited when I called to order he said they don't have it... And delayed everything... Just frustrating... A guitar for a 1150 is not an everyday purchase for me... atleast.

Great company

I'm a military member stationed overseas. Sweetwater is by far the best music company I've dealt with. Having only an APO box in the military they split up a large package into three separate ones so that it could be delivered, and at no cost. Also, I was looking for a specific limited edition guitar. I contacted more than ten music equipment sellers for it, but the only one to reply was sweetwater. They are hospitable, kind, and flexible. Regardless of cost this is what I like in any distributor.

Not impressed at all

Thought I would give them a try on buying some dj equipment as I needed a gator case for my dj controller overnighted The sales rep was really nice but when I informed her that I could get another name brand case for 150 bucks less from the dealer I was told at this time they couldn't offer any off the price. If you can't be competitive and show your customers you want their business then I'm just not interested in giving them my money. I too am in Customer service and know how things work and we all need to make money but when you dissmiss a customer like that you better believe their is another company that will gladly take their business.no response is needed to my review as I have removed you from my email list and I would appreciate if you guys would not call me with unsolicited offers anymore. The company I ordered my case from was more than glad to ship it to my door overnight at $150.00 less.
