My sales engineer was incredibly responsive and more patient with me than the nun at my grade school. He answered a ton of questions and gave me suggestions for the bass guitar I eventually purchased. Everything came as expected and on time. I would highly recommend and I will purchase from them again.

I've been doing business with Sweetwater since 2015 and they are simply awesome.
Of course with something as personal and complex as musical instruments and equipment a knowledgeable and empathetic sales person is critical as well, and Sweetwater has many sales people.
And over the years I found two who were exceptional, though one has left to pursue other endeavors.
So I recommend that you specifically request Zac Coleman. His breadth of experience and sincere concern that his customers are content sets him apart from others I've encountered.
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of Sweetwater sales people and I've only dealt with a fraction of them, and most have been good. But Zac truly stands out and shines.

The order was fine and I got my product intact, but the emails, they won't stop. I clicked unsubscribe many times, I've tried blocking them. I don't know what it will take to stop the ads they send but this certainly wasn't worth a simple online order. This bombast should be banned.

Extremely poor customer service. I ordered from them a phantom power supply. They canceled the order without asking me anything, lost the fees for the bank and PayPal. Poor website design with no warnings for international customers. When asking what it happened I got the typical corporate reply. No effort whatsoever to solve my inquiry. Obviously I will never buy anything from them... you order, they take your money, process, send you confirmation... only the second day to cancel it without any warning.

Sweetwater is really a good website, been dealing with them for many years. Hardly ever pay their listed website price - always ask for a better deal & usually get it. Can return items for refund or exchange, top technical help. Free shipping & they include a small bag of candy to sweeten up the deal... I usually give that away.
I had a great experience. I googled guitar strings ended up going with sweetwaters store to purchase from. My order was shipped fast, i got a personal text message asking me if i got my tracking number and was told if i had any issues i could contact him back. When i got my order i even got a little bag of candy my kid enjoyed that... so needless to say i will be recommending and buying here again. Thank you joel for all your help
Sweetwater has been my go-to music vendor for some time. Unmatched customer service, great selection and fast, well packaged shipping. I have been playing guitar for 40+ years and have shopped all kinds of music stores, big and small. Sweetwater is at the top of the business. They get it right the first time and go the extra mile to make sure I'm satisfied with my purchases. I have never reached this level of trust with any other music store.
I highly recommend Sweetwater to any and all musicians from beginner to pro. Finding a business you can trust is a real blessing in today's world.

Second go around despite best efforts, if you ask a question they don't care and don't know their own products. Please compare the prices provided here and save you some money along with get legit info from someone who actually knows what their talking about. In store prices are better even in high price cities and upper end stores. Sweetwater used to be good but they forgot that the Yachats and fancy cars came from them overcharging your pockets and we don't have to put up with it.

Purchased an Epiphone EJ 200 sec back in 10 / 21. Recently notice cracking and splitting and the base of the neck joint. Called the service dept at sweetwater and spoke with Adrian who asked me to send photos of the area in question. After receiving the photos Adrian informed me that a replacement guitar was on its way. Within 3 days my NEW guitar was at my door with a prepaid return address label to return the defective one. A FLAWLESS process with out question, THANK you sweetwater for GREAT customer service that is above and beyond. Here is a customer for life!

If you have a product that is defective, you shouldn't be selling it. But if you have a product that is having a trend of getting broken for the same reason, as a customer I expect, at least your response to be as fast as possible and have a solution for it. Dear sweetwater, you have failed in providing the excellence in service you say you do!
I'm talking about the Helix Line 6, all of them got buttons out of order!

As I understand it, we replaced that unit with a new one, so hoping that the replacement is working much better for you. We work really hard to jump on issues like this when they come up and get them solved for you as quickly as possible. We've learned from this and will be better as a result.

"Highly recommend this company. I had ordered two cables and they immediately called me after the order was placed to let me know that one of the cables was not available. They offered other size of cables and shipped them out to me. They even called after the order was received to make sure they were working and I was satisfied! I have purchased an acoustic and electric guitar from Sweetwater in the last year along with a pedal. The experience has been excellent. The sales engineer, Stephen has been very good to deal with. I made my second purchase. Like the first, my order was delivered quickly, well packed, and worked immediately. Whenever my local store doesn't have something, Sweetwater here I come!
Terrible communication from the start. Sweetwater failed to process my order the following business day. I called and was assured that my order would go out first thing the following morning. After no info was received I followed up again and was told they needed to confirm more info before my order could be processed. I understand that there are hiccups in the process, but the fact that I had to continue to call them instead of the reaching out to me is really strange to me.
I was assured that once the order shipped it would arrive after 4 business days - which has already passed and the carrier (FedEx) has no estimated delivery date or info on the packages because they are so backlogged.
Terrible experience and will not be ordering from Sweetwater again.

This is one of many reviews of my experiences with Sweetwater. Just when I think they couldn't possibly do a better job, they step up and blow me away. I have been using Sweetwater for my music gear for several years now. Aaron Vidusek has proven to be a huge asset to the staff of this company. My most recent dealing had to do with their warranty.
I can never say enough about this company and the folks who work for them. I contacted them about an issue that required the use of their Sweetwater Guitar Workshop. What a group to deal with. If you are concerned about their warranty policy, Don't. This company and its people make it very clear that you can depend on them when you need to file a claim with them.
They made this issue seamless. It was handled in better time than I originally thought. From the first contact with Joe Stilwell to the last with Wyatt Traxler, This crew is on the ball. They communicated with me at every single turn of events with my warranty claim. They were all very friendly and very professional.
I enter every one of the monthly drawings, especially their "Win Your Wish List". I dream of winning one day, but if losing means I get the support I get from this company, I win more at every phone call or email.
I only wish I were able to visit their store so I could meet these folks in person. It would be an honor to shake the hands of folks that know what it takes to make their customers happy at any cost. If you have or had any reservations about ordering from Sweetwater, you need to seriously consider changing your mind and give them a try. You will not regret it.
