I was very happy with the products that i got. The prices were fair, and the shipping was reasonable and quick.
So I see there a lot of negative reviews, so I just want to weigh in with my honest review of the services I received. I only made a purchase so far, but items were in fantastic shape and the price was amazing. I got 3 little people sets and a costume for my toddler for 30 dollars. Will certainly use site again...
I was happy with this company when I was buying from them. Really happy. They even refunded an item that didn't fit.
Then I sent them a box of my stuff to sell. Really nice stuff. Cost $8.90 to ship but i should make enough to cover that and make a little profit. (I thought)
First tip off that something was wrong is that they rejected an item I was almost positive had no stains but they said it did. But I figured maybe they saw something I didn't. Then I was notified I sold my first item. I was so happy. So it sold for $4 and I got $1.50. I was ok with that as they did all the work putting it on. Then I also sold 2 other items. Yay! Ok now wait for the pay of $6. Well I get a notice I was going to be paid... I thought. I click the link and it says, I earned $6 but fees taken out $6! What? So I made squat on that so far? And my other items will probably end up the same way. So I deleted my other items and had them send them back to me. (Had to pay $5 shipping.)
So I paid $14 in shipping (all together) for them to sell my stuff and they made a profit! I lost money! SCAM! And so much for buying. I'm not buying from them either. It doesn't go to the people who sent the clothes!
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Horrible customer service. Charges for everything. Back log is forever long. Will never buy anything from there again nor will I ever send in more items.

I have found this site to be very trustworthy with it's descriptions of items for sale. The variety is very good and I can usually find just what I am looking for, with other things closely related. The prices are so reasonable that many of my friends are using Swap.com also. I am quite pleased with my experiences with this site and would recommend it to others who seek a safe environment to buy and sell.

Swap.com is a wonderful way to purchase baby and children's clothing on a budget. I just recently got a $69 dress from Nordstrom for $12 and it was new with tags. No that is the way to shop!

I'm a new shopper at Swap and was surprised how quickly shipment arrived and how each item was wrapped and tagged just like a department store. I am planning to create an account for selling my gently used items.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
