They told me to sign on my bank account then proceeded the refund. The put in 5299. 00 in they tell me oh no we put to much in. Well I told them take 5000. 00 back out. He said I can't I needed to go to Wal-Mart and that's where I stopped him. Then *******. 00 balance said 0. He said if you eant your money back you need to go to Wal-Mart stopped him again told him got my bank on my other phone. Didn't want to hold for bank drove there panicing. Ot was a ruse money still there. I Closed out my accounts. Well the $#*! locked my pc. I called support buddy told them what happened they said they needed access to my pc to unlock it
Told them no way. I complained to customer service told them what happened I want my money back
I told them that they were in on scam if I don't get my money back I will call FBI have them investigated. I will let you know if I get money back in 7 to 10 days. And yes I will call if I don't. Feel the other scammers got my information from them. So how good is their security.
Several years ago I used this company via the recommendation of another person. I had no idea I was still on their list of customers since I had not used them for some time. Recently, they began calling me again, and again and again... Then, they stated that this past May I renewed their services but I did not remember nor wanted to use them again. They debited my card (I checked and sure enough) for $299 but I do not remember even talking to them. Now, they are contending they are an official support technical company for Microsoft who is having problems with their software and my computer is about to crash and I have to pay them an additional $751. They began calling me every day and at all times of the day and night to the point they are calling around 5:30 a.m. and as late as tonight at 1:00 a.m. on an ANONYMOUS telephone line which does not display the telephone number they are calling from. Not only am I reporting this to as many places as I can because of the scamming but to the local, state and national law officials. I am getting my telephone number changed which I have had for about 30 years. This is a horrific ordeal for a recently widowed 68 year old woman who does not bother anyone for anything. I am having my own issues trying to deal with my precious husband's death and now these "Indian or Pakistan" (not American Indian) speaking people are harassing me. If anyone else is having this same problem, please report them to as many entities as necessary to get their licenses revoked
After spending hours on the phone with them and they said they were giving me a refund but in fact they actually stole money from me. I have informed the police about what they did. I will spread the word about what a lying scamming con artists they are. As soon as I demanded my money back they cancelled their phone number.
$179.99 Cancelled the next day within 24 hours. Email from customer supported dated the next day. 22 days later the credit has not been shown. Now they want a copy of my bank statement for that period. REALLY! They just keep ripping the public who is not aware of these type transactions.
Spoke with customer service. After I confirmed the transaction ID for the refund they instruct me to call back on Monday to get an update. I ask for a supervisor. He was in a meeting and not available.
Beware. Close any and all account number that have been scammed by SupportBuddy.
Beware. Microsoft will never lock out your PC and tell you to call a number. They do not make outbound calls for this type event.

THIS WAS DEC 15. I HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 10 OR MORE TIMES (IT IS NOW FEB 16.) I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CREDIT ON MY CREDIT CARD. THEY KEEP SAYING THEIR RECORDS SHOW THE REFUND AND THEY WANT ME TO PROVE BY SENDING THEM A COPY OF MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT, THAT I NEVER RECEIVED THE REFUND. THEY KEEP SAYING THE FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT SENT THE REFUND. THEY CANNOT CHECK TO SEE WHERE THAT REFUND WENT. I NEVER GOT IT.
THEY HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY AND A LOT OF MY TIME. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT LIARS. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY REFUND AND NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME THEY WILL NOT DO ANY THING ELSE AND I WILL NOT GET MY REFUND.
They will not leave you alone, They keep callin and calling. I got a refund already but they still want to get into your computer and probably sabotage it
Finding a reliable firm is a little dunting task. One such a firm upon which you can rely on is suppprtbuddy. Once i availed its service to get my antivirus issues fixed. I oile their approch of handling the customers.
Great job.
I am highly thankful to support buddy techies as they got my laptop back to work. They delivered great service any time any where.
Being a mac user i never faced any issue. One day all of sudden my system crashed and desplaying error message. I tried many times but not get proper solution. Finally decided to call supportbuddy. They take the remote and resolved my issue. Thanks team SB
SupportBuddy techies are best techies in the world. Once I encountered an issue of drivers in my Lenovo computer. I tried it several times but failed, so I decided to connect with techies. They asked to take the remote control of my PC and got the drivers installed correctly. They also guided me for the future case.
They had access to my laptop for 15 hours (3 calls x 5 hours each) and did not fix the problem. I asked for my money back which they refunded. NOW THEY WON'T STOP CALLING ME! I ask them each time they call to PLEASE stop calling me since I got a refund and now THEY CALL ME 3x A DAY, LAUGH AND HANG UP.
Has been the worst experience ever of my life so far! Instead to fix my computer they have deleted all my data on my computer deleting the drivers... my computer do not recognize anymore my hardrive... I am not able to work anymore on my computer. As business owner is the most frustrating thing ever could happen... And they have told me that is not their responsibility... When it was the technician responsibility... i can't believe!... I was lucky enough that I have the most of my data stored in to the Cloud... PLEASE DO NOT SUBSCRIBE... PLEAS DO NOT CALL THIS PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR TIME... I have never been so angry in my life...
My computer has become absolutely slow and its buffering was driving me nuts. When contacted Supportbuddy, the representative was very friendly while instructing me the correction process and he was a true literate in technical field. The system began working as it was before and he gave me suggestions for future usage as well. Thanks and Kudos team Supportbuddy!
I got the same pop up window/locked computer issue others have had along with a loud beeping sound. I called the number, they "fixed it" after two tries and many, many hours. I paid them a service fee of $180 but then they tried to sell me all kinds of service plans and additional software packages and just won't go away and leave me alone. I'm going to take my laptop to a local computer repair shop and make sure they haven't left anything behind that gives them the ability to re-infect me. I truly think they infected my computer on purpose.
They diagnosed my computer and fixed the lagging problem in just a few seconds. It techies even increased the performance of my PC. Excellent job SupportBuddy.
It has happened 3 times now. My computer screen will lock up and a number from Microsoft will come up and tell me that I have damaging virus on my computer and if it doesn't come off, it will hurt Microsoft and my computer. They won't let you click out of it either. I finally unplugged my computer. The first time I was scared out of my wits so I called the number and ended up being charged a large number of money. When I realized what had happened, I called and told them that I knew it was a scam and I wanted my money back, After a long period of arguing, they finally agreed to give back my money. It is so annoying when they keep locking up my computer. It seems to authentic that it could fool even the most savvy. Run fast.
I would suggest holding off calling their number or getting support from them. Find someone else to come to your home and check your computer out or take it in to a legit computer store or Best Buy to have it looked at.
After reading the other reviews, what happened to me was similar... I had a box pop up saying call this number don't ignore or close, your computer is compromised. I was very skeptical but decided to call but not give out any information however after asking a couple of times who they were and told I wouldn't have to provide over the phone credit card info I succumbed and they accessed my computer but all the time I was concerned that they would access things like passwords and account information. After looking them up and reading the reviews I decided to call and cancel the credit card payment and have them look into it before I loose $349.99 charge for a one year warranty! Or told one time fix for $219.99, for all I know there was nothing wrong with my iMac and it's a scam.
My computer was locked with a screen telling me to call this number for assistance I foolishly did so. The real fraud in this is they represented themselves as MicroSoft tech's I am ashamed to say I fell for it. They remote accessed my computer then proceeded to have full run of it. When I questioned this procedure they told me Microsoft allowed them to do this for $180.00 or I could take it to Microsoft store for $500 dollars Microsoft store? Luckily for me my friends almost immediately told me of this scam and I was able to block credit card payment and report them to Microsoft which of course told me they would never lock my computer and then tell me to call them. I was told they plant the virus then scam you into removing it. I think these people are scum
They keep harassing me now. After falling for their backwards business plan once, they won't stop phoning and e-mailing me. I've requested them to stop, and now they're phoning me even more, even after I block the numbers one by one
