I will never nor have I ever subscribed to any magazine but for some reason I received one today in the mail that you guys ordered for me. Totally Inappropriate. How did you even get my information? Did you charge me? I'm highly annoyed and feel my information is not safe. I would like this resolved immediately and I never wish to encounter you again. This is the first and last time you will take my information and order something on my behalf. This needs to be fixed.

I have attempted to call and was hung up on.
I need an answer to the following question in your response to this review:
A) HOW and WHERE did you get my information (address, FULL name, zip-code)?
B) Why am I being sent multiple magazine subscriptions I NEVER signed-up for?
C) Am I or have I EVER been charged for these? I will absolutely begin litigation charges onto your company/file a lawsuit if so.

You now need to remove ALL of the information you have on file for me immediately- including name, address, and ANY OTHER DATA you might have stolen. You also need to inform me of exactly WHERE you got this information from;

I've been receiving magazines from People, even though I never signed up for a subscription. I've have called several times but there was never any representatives available. I also sent an email about 4 days, and I still haven't received any response as well. I would like if I can get ahold directly with a Subco representative or that someone responds to my email (along with the requests in it).

I left a voice message with Subco to cancel this subscription. I did not request nor authorize and should not be receiving a bill. Cancel all magazines delivered to Lanessa Hoffman. Thanks.

UPDATE: Thank you for the quick response. The magazines were being sent to a really old address as well as old name. By the time the new tenant met up to provide me with them, it was a years worth :O so I am sure it has bothersome to them as well.

This is a scam! Your company stole my account information and signed me up for a magazine subscription THAT I NEVER AUTHORIZED AND NEVER ORDERED! I want an immediate refund to my account or I will contact the BBB! How dare you do this to people! I want this resolved immediately!

Horrible and a Scam
July 31, 2020

Subco Contacted In Style magazine And started a subscription in my daughters name who is a minor. I tried to cancel it and they said I would have to contact Subco and you can't get through to anyone when you call they just hang up. Can someone help me stop this now!

I started to receive two magazines that I did not order. Elizabeth, from customer service called me back right away and was able to help me to stop the subscriptions. She assured me that the subscriptions would b stopped. Thanks Elizabeth!

As of March the 2nd 2020 I have received 3US weekly magazines and one vanity fair. I called US weekly to find out why I am getting these and she said that it came from sub co and gave me the number. I called the number and got a recording that they were closed so I will Call again tomorrow. I don't know why I'm getting these and I do not appreciate it and I will take this action further if I am charge for anything. I want to know how they got my information and why they started sending me these!

I hate this company.

Did not order a magazine but got a bill, I have spent 2 hours trying to canc. So now they can send it and not get paid. I even sent it back telling them to stop littering my mailbox. Over the phone I cant get past the surveys they want me to take.

I feel like they are sending you magazines to force you to cancel which you can only do by phone or email, allowing them to capture more information on you to sell to other unethical "partner" companies. You won't know it's from them; it's a bit of a process to find out. We'll see if it actually gets cancelled or not. I better not get a bill. What a scam!

This company will send what ever they can, just to make a sale. Will not correct their mistakes. I have ask for my new and old magazine. I do not speak SPANISH. Now I lost out on some crap, thats not even my fault. BBB is my next call! Don't order from this 3rd party for anything. BAD BUSINESS FOR SURE! I just made the call to People Magazines tells me this is the company that place my order. I gets no help from People Magazine, then tells me to call these side hustle Subco Magazine who turns my English magazine to SPANISH! I don't know how this happening. Run from this!

I called subco to ask how im receiving GQ magazine, I'm a 41 yr. Old woman that has no interest in this magazine. Ive NEVER ordered a magazine in my life. They told me i was signed up thru publisher. I asked if i was gonna be charged she told me I'm subscribed until 8/2021 and also will be receiving better homes and gardens too. I told her to cancel GQ, and keep the better homes and garden, Subscription ends without cancelling in 8/2021 Im a little Leary but will be staying on it.

Got a magazine subscription that I didn't order. I went to the publisher to stop the magazine and was told I couldn't because it came from Subco. What a crap company. Just a bunch of scammers. No way should anyone have to waste their time stopping something they didn't order. If Subco cared, they would contact the individual and make sure they wanted the product or service.

HORRIBLE SCAMMERS! I have tostarted receiving Cosmo Magazine for some reason. I am in my 70's on a fixed income and would never subscribe to Cosmo magazine for any reason. How did this company get all my banking information? This company in dishonest and is a scam. I would like to know how this compnay got my banking information. I am furious over this. How many other companies or people have my bank information? This has to be illegal! I believe I will press charges. When I finally contacted Cosmo they told me a 3rd party business names SubCo purchased a subscription to Cosmo Magazine in my name with my bank information. How scammy and crooked is that? I am extremely upset!
