I have been receiving a magazine I did not order. On the label my last name is spelled incorrectly. I spoke with the magazine and was told it was ordered through Subco and that I needed to contact them to cancel the order. I have called and emailed and haven't received a response. The magazine suggested that I ordered it by mistake and just forgot. But if I ordered it, I would not have misspelled my own last name. Whatever this business is doing it should be illegal.
Received a GQ subscription in name of my husband deceased wife of 8 years. Called GQ, they said Subco handled that subscription. Looking at their site, it says: Why am I receiving my magazine subscription/how did you get my information?

I have been receiving magazine subscriptions that I did not purchase. It started sometime in 2024, and I was told by the magazine that they were ordered by a third-party company, but the magazine was able to cancel it. At the beginning of 2025 I began receiving another magazine. When I called that company they said they could not cancel it and that I'd have to call a third-party company; apparently the same company, called Subco. I do not want these to continue and I believe this should not be allowed. It's just more junk mail in my mailbox that will end up in the garbage. Not to mention this latest magazine did not have a cover that I would consider appropriate.

Any company that sends out unsolicited magazine subscriptions is fraudulent in my opinion. I started receiving Harper's Bazaar which I would never read and discovered that Subco took it upon themselves to subscribe me. I have assured them that if I receive a bill I will be forwarding it to them. Jerks.
I started to get magazines that I never ordered. When I tried to cancel the magazine I was told that I had to go through subco. I have never heard of them and have never ordered anything from them. It is a pain in my $#*! that I have to go through so much crap for something I never ordered. If they send me a bill I will be calling my lawyer.

Somehow they got my name and mailing address, which is different than my physical address and less used. They signed me up for a travel magazine and Esquire, without my permission. Never spoke to them or anyone. Try calling their number, always "closed" despite being within their hours.
I wanted to give them the chance that they might just have a dishonest salesman, but after researching them, they are a fraudulent dishonest company engaging in identity theft. I will be pursuing charges if they don't cancel asap.

Received the 1st issue of a 6 month sub to Women's Health. Never subscribed. Zero interest - I'm a retired male. The magazine had my address, but was addressed to "Dronal Trump". No clue where that came from. When I called the mag, was directed to call Subco. Tried that several times, but each time was greeted by someone pushing a medical alert system. No interest and told them so. The person hung up each time. Not good!

So far in the last week I have gotten 2 issues of Men's Health Magazine that I did not sign up for. I am very mad about this. I am a single woman with no interest in this. I would also like to know how you got my information, obviously you're a scam company. You better not bill me for this. I didn't sign up for it. I can NOT run yet these people somehow subscribed me to Runner's World@$10 per year. Can't unsubscribe directly through the magazine only through Subco. This is very sketchy, avoid doing any business with these people.

I have been receiving Men's Health magazine and could never determine who signed me up for the subscription. I am certainly not the demographic for the magazine being nearly 70 years old. I immediately toss the magazine in the trash and have probably thumbed through no more than one or 2 of the editions. I do not subscribe to magazines. I tried contacting Men's health directly and was informed that they could not cancel my subscription. When I inquired as to why, they informed me that it was initiated by a company named SUBCO. Well today I found contact information for SUBCO. I will be contacting them first thing on Monday to cancel this subscription. I never initiated it, not did I authorize it. C) Am I or have I EVER been charged for these?
You now need to remove ALL of the information you have on file for me immediately- including name, address, and ANY OTHER DATA you might have stolen. You also need to inform me of exactly WHERE you got this information from;

I've been receiving People Magazine now for about four weeks. I never subscribed to this and do not want the magazine. They go right into the trash when I get them. I am appalled that your company took it upon themselves to set up a subscription without my knowledge or permission.

I have been receiving magazine subscriptions from Southern Living, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan magazines for three years now. I have called these magazines to cancel the subscriptions, but I have been told that they cannot cancel because these magazines were subscribed for me through an agency. I was never given the name of an agency until I contacted Southern Living and threatened further action against them. Then I was given the name of Subco, a magazine clearinghouse. I contacted Subco and told them that I was going to press charges against them for using my personal information without my consent. I told them because they did use my personal information without my consent, I wanted them to pay me for these magazines that I have received for the past three years. This is what they wrote back.:
COSMOPOLITAN, GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, SOUTHERN LIVING magazine(s) were being sent to you as a Paid Special Offer subscription and was entered to Subco for processing by the independent sales agency named Millennium Marketing. They have sent you these magazine(s) hoping you would enjoy them and maybe subscribe to them after their promotional terms. Based on this subscription type, we can confirm there's no billing for this subscription and it will not automatically renew.

As you can see, there is yet another agency involved in sending out these magazines.to me. This is fraud. It is wrong for these agencies to gather personal information on people and use it for financial gain. This business needs to be shut down. I have reported this company to the Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau. I am going to report this company to the State Attorney General's Office for the state of Virginia.

SCAM! Came home to find a People magazine delivered to me. I have NEVER subscribed to People magazine. People magazine refused to tell me who was paying for the subscription, only that Subco had authorized it. People CSR said she cancelled the subscription, but would not tell me who paid for it. She said she did not have access to payment records, and she said she did not have a supervisor I could speak to either Scammy on the part of People and Subco. I will be disputing any charges by People or Subco via my credit card, if we are charged. Minus one star for this fraudulent company.

I never subscribed to people magazine but have been receiving magazine issues. I called people magazine to cancel and they explained it is being sent to me by Subco.
