What? The scam continues.

So I write a negative review about the catch-22 return policy; they respond with a partial 15% cash refund if I keep the dress; I say that's ridiculous; they write back and up the refund to 25%; I reluctantly agree - I mean, what are my options?; I then receive this email from them:
"After you receive the refund, pls do us a favor to help remove or edit the review.
And you have become a member with us from now on. SO your future orders can be RETURNED TO A US ADDRESS [my caps].
Thanks so much for your patience. "

WHAT? THEY DO HAVE RETURN FACILITIES IN THE US? So they weren't telling the truth in the first place about how the only way to return something was to send it to China for $60-$70.
And I'M NOW A MEMBER? So, what, the membership fee is $60 - the difference between what I paid and what they refunded? Oh, I did end up with a dress I didn't want which probably cost them $1.25 to make.

I repeat - a total scam. They need to rethink this - unless this was their marketing plan all along.

Our main fulfillment center is located in China. Majority of our clothes are shipped from our fulfillment center. So our return center is located in China.

Since International return might result in long waiting time and incur substantial return cost on your side, we recommend some alternative methods to resolve this issue.

The two dresses I ordered came jammed into a bag and were very wrinkled. The quality was lower than what I expected for what I paid. Their sizing chart is way off (I am a 4-6 and they sent an XL that looks like a tent - and then they challenged me by explaining that a 4-6 is an XL in China where the clothes are made, or something like that). I attempted to return them, but I was outside the 30-days required under their byzantine and overly complicated return policy. I then asked if I could at least exchange the dresses for the proper sizes, and they said no. I suspect the return policy is made burdensome so people don't actually return anything. I've never written a bad review of a company before, but they truly frustrated and disappointed me.

Scam continues!

I just noticed upon reading other reviews that NOW you state you have a return address in NY. Why wasn't I advised of that after numerous emails and after a lengthy discussion with your customer service. I did receive a partial credit, however, I still want full credit for this item! I request a return label so that I may send it back as initially requested to your center in NY! I will not remove this review until that is accomplished. I have no use for this dress and actually every time I look at it hanging in my closet... it upsets me to think about it! Again I think you need to amend your return policy and state in your purchasing agreement that returns are sent to China BEFORE placing an order! Will be awaiting your return authorization to return this item to your NY fulfillment center.

Also, our normal delivery time is 2-5 business days of preparing for the orders (7 days) plus 7-12 business days of shipping (3 to 5 for express shipping).

So total delivery time for an order would be processing time + shipping time. Next time pls place order when you are not in a hurry.

Stay away! The product is of bad quality! And they ask you to return to China! You need to pay for international shipping and by the time your return get to China it already pass the 30 day return period!

I would give a zero

I would give it a zero if I can. Goods are overpriced for its quality, and you would be lucky to get the right size. What's more frustrating is the poor service. I returned 5 items in the same package and they kept telling me they only received 4. Their philosophy seems to be 'customer is always wrong'. I called their customer service and only got answer machine. Stylewe will try every tactic to challenge you and keep your money in their pocket. Unbelievable!

STAY AWAY!

My dress came from China and was sized for a child's body! I'm an American size 8 (L) and when I tried to return the dress, I was instructed that I had to pay for shipping back to China. The shipping cost back was more than half of my actual purchase,. With no guarantee of my money being refunded to me. Next call will be to my credit card provider. SCAM COMPANY...

Oh StyleWe you charged me 17.00 for 2 day express shipping. I ordered on Friday the 25th and it is now Wed the 30th. It is no longer express but a scam. I won't be paying for it. I'm also going to do whatever I can to ensure that your business is exposed. You are a cheat.

Late delivery

I tried to order on August 2, around 10 p.m. to be exact when i order and it says that i will recieve it after 7 days and expect some delays because of the bad weather but i didn't expect na ganito kalate. The end of the month is near and im very dissapointed. And if cancellation of order is just available i rather cancel my order.

I really liked the dress on the website and kept coming back and looking at it. When it went on sale I decided to get it. I was so disappointed when I received it, instead of bright blue with primary colored stripes around it I received navy blue with dull winter colored stripes. I contacted customer service and sent photos and was told the color was not that far off. I was offered a discount to keep the dress but to me it was ugly and so I am returning it. Now I find I get to pay the return even when it is their error. I will not be ordering anything else from them because it is like Russian roulet each time you get something you may have to pay the return. There are to many websites that have better return policies, in fact I have never found one before that makes you pay for their mistake. Many companies will pay for your return even if you just don't like the dress. Poor decision making on the companies part when there is so much competition. I will never order from them again which is a shame as they do have many cute, if expensive dresses.

The dresses I ordered looked much better in the photos! When they arrived the fabric quality was very poor and they were ill fitting. One didn't have tags attached to the dress. I knew this would be a problem for the return so I immediately contacted them and sent the dresses back the very next morning. Well- they don't give you your money back for weeks and they refuse to give me a refund for a dress they sent without tags and I didn't wear. I do not recommend this business! You can find much better clothing on sale locally!

Very Disappointing. I ordered two dresses. It never arrived then it was delivered to an address in California.

I email to ask them to look into it and I was basically directed to call and track down the item myself. I paid for a package, the company failed to deliver and I am suppose to look for it?

That is not good customer service. I want the dresses or my money back not an email asking me to track down your lost package!

I ordered a dress which looked like really cute in the picture but in reality it wasn't that cute :D it had some burnt parts and stains. When I contacted them they first offered me extra discounts on the dress instead of returning but I rejected, and finally they gave me a full refund. I want to be fair. Their customer service is not that bad. Whenever you leave a msg they'll call you immediately. The problem is that they do not inspect the items before sending them to the customers.

Don't do it...

About a year ago I had my first experience with this company and it was terrible. My order finally came and I was not impressed with the quality of the items, so without even trying them on I promptly packaged them up and returned them. I was later notified that the items were damaged and would be getting no refund. I glanced into the packaging and sealed it right back up. If there was damage, it was not caused by me. When I finally threw a big enough fit and started posting online reviews of my experience, I was contacted and offered a 50% refund. I continued to share my experience with others. I was then offered a 100% refund if I took down all of my negative reviews. Which I did. After thinking about it, I feel bad because that was not right. If I can prevent someone from going through the headache I went through, I need to. So I am posting my review again. And it looks like I am not the only person who has had this experience.

FRAUD!

I placed an order never got the merchandise! No 800#, read they're horrible reviews! FRAUD! Thank God I paid thru PayPal & they will take care of it AND REMOVE them ("Stylewe") from they're system. Please people DO NOT ORDER FROM STYLEWE! And I rated them 1 but s/b 0 cause it will not let you submit unless you rate it

Material and Fit

The dresses that I bought are nothing like in the pictures. The material is supposed to be 100% cotton but one of the dresses has the fabric very much like the one that people used to make parachute. I bought the recommended size, but one came in too tight above the chest and the armpit and I feel choking at the neck when I buttoned up eventhough the neck is quite large.
I feel so disappointed but I cannot return the items because of the FINAL SALE that I bought.
