While I have no evidence to back this up other than my own intuition, I believe a drunk college student could do a better job at managing the dev team this website than whoever is doing the job right now. Let's name some issues:
- On multiple pages errors are given out when doing something as simple as pressing a button.
- The reset password function sends the email on the app on my phone, but says it doesn't match when using it on web browser
- The reset password link itself doesn't work and throws me back to the main page
- Tons of debug/testing console logs present within every page
- App crashes consistently when run on my android tablet
It's a goddamn miracle the website works at all.
I have purchased a new phone then they asked me to purchase a new SIM card I have called over 40 not working I have brought over $180 equipment for my phone to work I have called over 42 times April 12 my internet is not working on my phone nor have I been able to make phone calls yesterday I had lost my job because I was unable to access what I need to ask to some my phone upon calling for help I was hung up on I have called since 5 p.m. all the way until 11:15 the last phone call I had received was that if I was unable to get to my job that I will lose it I lost my job on the last customer service that I talked to him tell me that everything happens for a reason because I'm a single woman out here with only one phone and there is no other phone for anybody to get in contact with me and that they could not help me I've cried all night from April 18th until April 19th right now at 5:32 this morning that was some of the most heartless yes I have ever been through in my whole life to the point that I have add to start to record each conversation that I have with them they truly do not care they'll get real with you or maybe it's something that they are relying on people about and their notes that soon as they say let me check the notes it's all of a suddenly is Hayes let me put you to somebody else or just an app Straight Talk has mess with people live in horrible horrible ways this company nice to have actual people who may be live in the country people who actually want to do their jobs but I had lost my job has spent money that I don't have this may seem like a sob story but I'm saying this in cheers because it is true I have nothing because the Straits off as of April 18th 2022

Overall a terrible service. I bought the ultimate plan for over 60 bucks and can't even use my data or Hotspot in my own home. My data does not work anywhere in my town even though I set my phone up with my zip code. When calling Customer service I keep getting told I have 5g. If I had 5 g I wouldn't be calling you people now would i? Absolutely no help from anyone just passed around from one agent to another.
For a business that sells phones and service you would think they would have some good ways to get in cantact and service with them when you don't have a phone especially when you have a problem with your service and they are your service provider in stead there is only one link and they can never do anything you need andvwhe you say you don't have a phone or way to get a call they tell you that you have to talk to a different department and give you a phone number. $#*!ing unreal stupidly. I have tried to order a phone that has been undelivered for 4 months I needed to have it for the network update and then my phone finally didn't work because of the network update and I haven't had service for 2 months I have tried to get online help spending over 100 hours in 4 months and another 25 hours on the phone I have spent 11 hours a day and not able to get the problem resolved and when you call back or a agent that is willing to transfer you you have to start everything over like the last 11 hours the day before for the 100 you already spent telling someone the issue never happened. And no matter who you talk to they always tell you something different and it's something they can't check in a different department and will just keep passing you off until they close and you start all over again the next day. It's pointless if you can spend the whole day and not resolve the issue and have to start over the next day at the beginning. It's bull$#*!
From day one (mid January 2022) I have had nothing but problems with no help. Then to add insult to injury they cut me off in the middle of my March service that was paid in full. When I asked why they said I went over my data usage. How that could possibly have been since I purchased the gold unlimited data plan. If you want a service that will steal your money by all means go with Straight Talk.

Good luck getting out of this trap of a company. The customer service stinks. I was on the phone for 52 minutes the first time to try to stop service and unlock my phone, keeping the phone number I had for YEARS and portered to them when I bought a new phone with Straight Talk tied to it. A confirmation number was given and a promise of an email for my PIN number to transfer received. They never emailed me. Finally with another hour to burn while I also again was working and trying to do the dozen things I need to do while on perpetual hold and even giving them the confirmation number that was supposed to facilitate everything I was on hold 28 minutes only to be transferred to another department with another wait to a person who had no idea what I needed. Repeated the info and confirmation number and transferred again by a rep who then disconnected the line instead. Another 54 minutes of my busy life wasted. How can phone "experts" not know how to email or to transfer a call? What a lousy company!
I purchased Straight Talk back in 2017 since they seem to be more affordable long and local distance calls; however, during the use of this phone service, they had 1-2 years an updated device connection for me to upgrade to so I did that. And now I"m having more drop calls even when trying to get a hold of people that was hard to get a hold of before is really aggravating using them now, as well as, I have not call waiting to hold someone on the other line when they call in as I did on initial hook up with Straight Talk. It seem like they worsened their service than before. I don't even know if they care to improve their services or not.
STRAIGHTTALK IS WORST PHONE COMPANY OUT THERE! STAY AWAY GO SOMEWHERE IS. FIRST THEY DID NOT WANT TO REFUND MY MONEY FOR A BROKEN PHONE THEY SENT ME, TOOK THEM 4 MONTHS TO REFUND MY MONEY AND SECOND OF ALL THEY SWITCH TO VOLTE NETWORK TELLING CUSTOMERS TO GET A FREE PHONE WHEN YOU CALL THEY TELL THEY DONT HAVE FREE PHONES. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I HAVE DEALT WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS WITH VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
First off I am a 100% disabled American military combat veteran. I was notified by straight talk I needed to upgrade my phone so as not to lose svc. I bought a refurbished phone from straight talk for 105$. Upon receiving the phone it wouldn't make calls or access the Internet. I was told activation may take some time which was a stall tactic. I was able to use the hotspot for a few days and link Wi-Fi to my old phone and use it internet wise. Then my hotspot wouldn't work either. Phone still not activated I called straight talk at a minimum 7 or 8 times everyone I asked for a refund they said they wanted to trouble shoot first then they would say we're going to transfer you to "higher customer svc". Then I'd get the dial tone. After spending hours trying to fix the phone. They did this until the time ran out to replace the phone. I called to get my svc refunded 57.93$ but straight talk said since I was able to get hotspot for a couple days they wouldn't refund anything. All I wanted was a little bit of understanding and help. That money would help me get svc on another network and be able to contact VA for my doctors appointments, but they wouldn't help.
Today they just cancel my service because they have an upgrade, they offer me a flip phone. I have Samsung I always have one but they are not will to give me one. I don't need a better phone I just need mine I buy it at the beginningof 2022. I will never recommend this company to not body they lose 2 costumers my husband and my self. BS company, we live in the USA where company's think ahead to resolve wherever coming for they costumers, people here are loyal but you all straight talk are not to us. I have to go and found a new cellphone company. So much for do business
I'm done with Straight Talk. I'm sick of getting transferred, put on hold can't understand the foreigners talking. I'm so done! I never got my issue solved. I have $55 in reserve, but I'll take the loss. I just can't put myself thru any more frustration. With

Please avoid this company! They rate last place among other carriers. I've been with them 3 years, its gotten really bad the past year. Its like a relationship, you hang around, hoping things will change and get better, but it don't. Hope your having a better day than me. For ST, you suck!
They shut off my home phone service they did not tell me for 3 days off being on the phone for 3 days straighttalk and giving giving me to all the people who do not know what they are doing they tell me my phone is not compatible. So they sent me to walmart still did not know it was not compatible to get a new
Sim card and they knew it was for the home phone.So get the new box and get home to start it up and they said walmart did not scan it right so we called from walmart and they said it would take 24 to 48 hours. Then called sunday same thing can not get it activated until wed at the soonest. So back we went to walmart to have them rescan it so that is what we were told by straighttalk. So we got to walmart and they told us there they can not keep scanning it.So they refunded our money and I switched companies
They had the new one set up in less than 10 min by the way it is not straighttalk.It is by adikfferent company. I am done with them. They need to do some training or at least that they know what is going on. Also they took out of my account for the month when I have had no service.
I waited an hour before getting hung up on then waited another hour with nothing being done no one talking I'm just switching providers straight talk is trash all the way around
I had brand new blu 3 30 days old, 16 days left on service and I could not make calls or text, everything else on phone worked, I put 40 hrs into fixing that phone on wait with service rep with no fix, I couldn't understand a thing she said the whole time, the same woman to 1 woman on the whole team? Sad I dropped them
It's been like four days now that I have not been able to call or text but I have called straight talk about at least five times asking them to get the issues fixed but each time after being forced to go through same things which just previously had not worked and wasting nearly an hour every time. They would finally transfer me to what they call a higher technical support authority, only to be placed on hold until the call drops and then they issues on back if there's a loss of connection like that as if they don't have a very long waiting process to get help at that level. It seems as though they could care less about the matter.
Bought a new phone at Walmart all was fine until 5 months later phone went blank. Called ST customer service. They sent me a UPS shipping label to send the phone back to them as they were going to replace it it would take up to 3-4 days. After a week still no phone I called them. Oh so sorry warehouse did not do their job but I have your phone scheduled to be to you in 3 days another week nothing called back almost identical response. Another 5 days pass same again. I kept waiting and doing with out a phone because they kept leading me to believe it was now being handled. Bottom line I never got my phone back. I canceled their service. Went back to Verizon. These people that run ST customer service just lie and are not honest.

Be careful of these phones. Have had to return 9 defective phones to Walmart in 3 days. Their own reps couldn't even activate the phones. Do I keep trying with new phones?
I've used straight talk for years with no problems but since they updated their system I have had nothing but problems I'm trying to get away from them for over two weeks now and they won't release my number to another carrier, the same number I brought to them over 10 years ago. This is ridicules but I'm afraid I'll have to get a new number after having it for almost 20 years. I hate this company.
Straight talk only employs indian workers. All of the call centers are in India. The workers then sell your information to illegal call centers in India. Then the illegal call centers call and email you constantly to scam you out of anything they can. If you a member of straight talk you will get scammed and have a horrible customer experience. Half of India's economy is based on taking advantage of Americans. Are government won't do anything unless it affects the federal government like social security or IRS scams.
Answer: Cheaper than ATT for a landline. I never thought of the problems I am having trying to get service started. I don't know how they stay in business considering the gift fact that Verizon owns them.
Answer: I've been pretty consistently able to get a hold of them. As far as them being helpful not at all.
