Steam is the biggest and BEST online gaming platform around, and it does a fantastic job at providing a vast gaming library and easy access to jump in and out of a game!

The prices are competitive, the interface is great and it is second to none! What more is there to say? :)

My husband and I both buy all our games from it, as long as they're available in it. I have used Steam over ten years now, aside from the every now and then greed episodes the company gets or the occasional safety issues with steam trade I hear about, it has been a very good experience to me. Planning to use as long as it stands.

I wish for all the games such as gta v, wwe 2k14 etc should be free for download otherwise it s a waste of time buying the product if the product doesn't even work...

Both the Steam website and the Steam app on your computer from which one runs all the games bought through Steam are outstanding. Since I play higher end PC RPG video games, having a platform that allows me to buy them, play them, and mod them without the hassle of putting in a disk and figuring out where the mod files need to be placed, is awesome. If you buy a game on disk that is part of steam you can add it to the account and run it through the system. The online component (interacting and sharing with friends, sharing videos and screenshots, and having a powerful chat feature) add even more value to this product.

On top of all of that, you can share your game and program library with other computers so when you are not playing the game, your friends can play it. I am also impressed by the number of companies that use Steam to sell their games. I also have Origin by EA, but it is not nearly as powerful or diverse as Steam.

Steam is a very reliable piece of software in which is used for the selling and purchasing video games, modding software, and video making software. With all purchases being secure and safe you will not have to worry whether or not you were given a virus, unlike my other reviews I will just begin listing the problems and whats good with the occasional bits of informations regarding them

POSITIVE
-Secure with no chances of viruses from downloaded software
-Steam community is amazing with millions of players playing together, it is truly amazing
-Your account and PayPal information kept secure and away from 3rd party companies
-Too many games to count which will satisfy your craving for epicness
-Contains many popular titles from games like Mass Effect, Garry's Mod, the Call Of Duty franchise, and many more
-A great area for beginning Indie Devs with the greenlighting system

NEGATIVES
-A massive amount of virus bots which will send you image links with the message "Hi my friend want trade with you but he cant add you, are you interested in this item?"
-Community is quite interesting when it comes to addons, a massive amount are pornographic until the new rules for our beautiful workshop came out making it near impossible for anybody to get any pornographic material in games
-TF2 players are constantly going nuts for gear and will gang rape your inventory unless sprayed in the face with a bottle of denial
-Trading cards are sold for ridiculous prices

My son's Steam Account was hacked and the hacker was able to get my credit card info AND CHARGE OVER $500.00 ON THE CARD.
Be careful, there was a link to a trade and then a theoretical crash and my son had to sign in again.
As soon as he signed in the account was cleaned out of his virtual money, and my credit card info was stolen and used within a few minutes.
He realized quickly something was wrong and did all he could but the hacker was faster.
This system is not safe.

I buy games on steam because they periodically release offers where you can buy games for you or friends and play co-op, they have 4 players packs which also lets you save even more.

I have used Steam almost 3 years, the customer service is good, the steam store is really easy to navigate and find the games you want. There are so many payment methods like Paysafecard, paypal, debit card, MasterCard, Visa etc.
If you are going to buy games, i recommend buying games from here since on steam they have, almost every week either a 30-75% sale on steam.
Be somewhat cautious when you are on steam, If you are added by a lvl 0 don't accept since there are some scammers on steam that can take your viritual items.
I recommend using Steam if you are a gamer.
