I researched several movers before choosing Star Van Lines. WHAT A MISTAKE! From the moment the truck arrived to pack and move my home from CA to TN, it's been an absolute nightmare. Upon packing and loading, Sam, the lead was aggressive and rude. The other two guys just threw my possessions in boxes. They went as far as to put my laundered shirts in a wardrobe box with a live plant. Of course, there was dirt all over my shirts... For them it's charging you more and more money and doing the job without any care for your belongings. When calling their office, they screen calls and don't answer, won't give any accurate information and, to top it off, on the deliver end, hire any local body, with NO experience to unload your belongings. One guy showed up 90 min late and just disappeared. Star Van Lines is not a reputable moving company. They will lie cheat and steal from you every time. They charged me for 1900 cu', when the truck came to deliver, I measured it, it was 1550cu'. When I disputed this, Alex, the manager did nothing but argue and tell me I was wrong. To this day, 8-18-2023, they have not completed the move, the unprofessional, inexperienced crew they hired could not move a piece of furniture upstairs simply because they didn't know how and it was heavy.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A RIPOFF AND DISREPUTABLE!
