Stamps.com has established a reputation for enhancing shipping efficiency, particularly for small businesses and non-profit organizations, with many users praising its convenience and time-saving features. Positive feedback highlights the user-friendly interface, effective tracking systems, and responsive customer service. However, concerns persist regarding software stability, billing practices, and difficulty in reaching support, with several customers reporting frustration over unresolved issues and unexpected charges. Overall, while the service is valued for its functionality, there is a clear need for improvements in technical reliability and customer support responsiveness to enhance user satisfaction.

One of the reasons I chose Stamps.com over other similar services was the ability to print custom stamps. There are so many (ridiculous) restrictions that I have not been able to use either my logo or a picture of my business. (It is a church!). I do not believe that a picture of my church is offensive to anyone. Stop your PC nonsense stamps.com
When I first got into Stamps.com, I got it for what was then my business, HartBeat Vending, LLC. It was great then for printing out stamps for mailings. Now I still use it for my personal mail, e.g., when I mail my rent checks to my landlord, I use it to print out the envelope with the address and postage on it. It works out great, as I don't need to go to the Post Office to get stamps, etc. I can just print them out on my computer, or print an indicia directly onto the envelope. I love this program.
Software is great to use for my small business. I ship 20 packages a week. The only problem is they seem to double charge on some items like insurance. I was sent an email explaining the billing and it made absolutely no sense so I still don't understand the billing. It's a pay-as-you-go program but you're going to pay twice for insurance at least through USPS.
I find this easy to use. I did have to call about mistakes but was my fault and everyone I spoke to peasant and helpful.
I am 84 and Stamps. Com saves me running to the post office. Very convenient as I am handy capped. Is a blessing
When it opens as it should, (quickly!) Stamps.com is convenient and fairly free of glitches. Unfortunately, it opens as it should only about half the time. I've found that disconnecting, counting to ten, then reconnecting the weigh scale usually gets me in, but that gets old and should have been fixed by now. In the plus column, funding the account is very easy. Back on the negative There are some glitches to be aware of. E.G.: Large envelopes being weighed to determine postage. The program will often show a postage price that, if I run it through again to be sure, won't match the second. Not good for clients to receive mail with postage due.
Printing problems--when the Printer icon pops up on the screen, showing a page of stamps being emitted form the printer, instead of actually printing the stamps, the icon flashes on and off.
Updates to the software does not preserve custom envelopes that customers have created. Lack of support for envelop printing on various printers.
I am SO HAPPY with Stamps.com! I have personalized stamps, the scale & a great site to keep me from going to the post office!
I'm in a busy postal district and not having the wait in line is a life and time saver. Have used to years.
I love the discounts, promotions and add ones, but when I dont need it anymore I want to cancel my $15.99 a month plan. Its hard. The only way is to call and they will take their sweet time. My call was around 30-45 minutes waiting. Still love the discounts
Probably sold something on Ebay and unknowingly got hooked. Got charged $15.99/mo for two months, called and cancelled but kept charging so had to get VISA to refund the unauthorized charges. Probably ok if you ship on a daily basis, mostly for businesses but thought I was dealing with USPS.
This is a wonderful way to buy stamps online.
I would have given them a 5 except they promised $20.00 dollars postage if I mailed a postcard back to them using a stamp from my account. I did, but the free stamps never showed up. Oh, well.
I also would like to know the latest prices of stamps for regular mail. I would also like to see simpler instructions on how to print shipping labels. After having to reprint some I have found out how to print labels. We need instructions on how to fill out shipping labels that are sent out of US.

I only go to the Post Office now to drop mail off or pick it up and do not have to stand in line to do either. That's worth $15.99/month to me.
I dont feel I should have to pay a monthly fee for using stamps.com. A flat rate of 15.00 a year or something of that nature. I pay for templates and use my ink to print them. Why do I have to pay so much to use software.
Answer: Yes. SendPro is less expensive per month but you can only print on a printer purchased from them. Stamps.com is usable on a variety of ink jet, laser and thermal printers
Answer: Impossible I call their Customer Service line went through their answering system then put on hold, hung up after waiting 20 min. Sent a comment to the site email, got a response saying they would get back to me in a day or so.
Answer: Stamps.com might as well be called SPAMS.com Good luck trying to cancel the account. Their website directs you to follow the steps noted below in order to cancel, but the "close this account" option SIMPLY does NOT exist! It is not there! You email them and do not get anywhere. You call their phone number and they put you on hold for over 45 minutes! In the meantime, they are charging you! "In Stamps.com Online: Open the My Account drop down menu and select Manage Account.
