I DO NOT HAVE TO STAND AT THE POST OFFICE IN LINE AND THAT CAN TAKE SOME TIME ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS AND OTHER HOLIDAYS. THEY OFFER A LOT OF OPTIONS TO SUITE YOUR NEEDS.
I love Stamps.com. It been so long since I started using it, I can't even remember how long ago. I use it for personal & a non-profit charity. Working 21 hours a day, I never had time to go to the PO for stamps and now I don't drive any longer. I mostly use for regular stamps or int'l postage - haven't done any of the complicated stuff. I use net stamps and a scale for weight. Saves me time & stress. Once in a while I misprint, but Stamps.com always refunds promptly & lets me know it's done. Seldom had to call CS, but when I did they helped immediately & were always courteous.

For reasons other than Stamps.com, I have closed my sole proprietor home office business. On a very personal survival level, I may have to seriously consider terminating my Stamps.com relationship. The postage rate increases have kept me from many personal mailings - Christmas cards, Birthday greetings to members of my HUGE family, same with Anniversary greetings and special events items. In recent weeks, I needed to send a package Certified, Return Receipt, a process I know how to do manually. Stamps.com wanted me to do it with their forms, which I did not have on hand, available to use. I could not wait through the order and delivery time to get my package mailed so I had to use another, possibly less secure, method to get the package shipped. I'm not yet sure it did get where it needed to go! That said, in past years, for my business, Stamps.com has been a time and money saver for me so if I need to terminate now, it is with regret.

I have found the best Post Office around! Right here in my own home. Stamps.com is my way of sending packages and mail. I print my own postage whether it be on USPS Postage stamps, Labels, or even straight on the envelope itself! I can mail a friendly letter, a package, a big or little box, registered mail, certified mail... any mail you would go to the local post office and have them do it. At my leisure too. I can even call the post office to come pick it up. I don't have to leave home for postage or any kind of mail. Everybody should have Stamps.com. They are on the internet so just log on to their site... stamps.com.com... and get your own service started the same day. That's what I did and I've had it for several years now. I'm angry that i used to be able to ship my packages via usps site and they had me use this site. 15.99 a month for the little I ship is absolutely ridiculous

Their website directs you to follow the steps noted below in order to cancel, but the "close this account" option SIMPLY does NOT exist! It is not there! You email them and do not get anywhere. You call their phone number and they put you on hold for over 45 minutes! In the meantime, they are charging you! "In Stamps.com Online: Open the My Account drop down menu and select Manage Account. In Stamps.com Windows PC Software: Select the Account Tab. Select the Change/Cancel Plan Tab. Click close this account.
