I received an email which stated one price for a course, and when I clicked on the link it had a different price. I emailed the StackCommerce support team and within 15 minutes they had provided me with a link to obtain the price shown on the email.

Having had a problem with a freebie (yes a freebie!) from Stack Social. They responded to an email in less than 24 hours with a solution that worked. Great Service.
The software I purchased could not be activated, as I did not receive the authorization code I needed. This should have been sent to me after I bought the product, so StackCommerce does not get points for that as I didn't need that frustration. However, when I contacted customer service, Desmond was quick to answer and did so very clearly so that I could easily follow the steps and get the software activated.
Had a problem with one of the pages not showing right for me, they set me straight and got things working for me in a quick and timely manner.
Desmond and team have worked well to give a good result. However...

I had intended to purchase the 4-book offer (and only that offer!) Then things started to go seriously wrong...
It got lost or never sent...
A lot of time intervened and your 15-day period expired before I even had opportunity to realise its loss.
Then I was offered the possibility of buying something else.
When I originally purchased via Paypal I paid for the 4-book offer and not a substitute in the event that it turned out to be unavailable. To offer me the choice to have something unwanted in its place instead of my money this was really too much of a good thing.
Consequently I very much doubt that I will ever consider buying from StackCommerce again!
The shipment ordered took a long and arduous route from overseas. I fretted it was stationary and contacted customer service. After several back and forths, they responded with an explanation for the delay, out of their control, and let me know when the order would arrive. It arrived a day sooner. I would have been even more concerned were it not for the attention of the customer representatives who never ignored my queries and provided useful information.
There are a few things to note with this organization. Firstly, I bought a bundled course; when I went to redeem it, I was told it had already been redeemed. After being told by StackSkills that I was being dishonest, I contacted the 3rd party broker (Popular Mechanics) where I initiated the transaction and was told "this happens more than it should" and I was only able to get access to my course once they were involved directly with the publisher, so be careful of that.
The second problem with the course itself is that it's difficult to understand--not the material, the instructors. One of the instructors clearly knows the subject matter, but she has a heavy accent and frequently mispronounces words; the other instructor is equally as difficult to understand, but doesn't seem to have a grasp on the actual material--it's painful to listen to.
The third problem with the course is that the information contained in it is incorrect. In the C curriculum, ASCII is mispronounced repeatedly (asskye instead of asskey) the information about data types is invalid. The module regarding If-then-else is called "Decisions Galore!". In short the courses are unpolished, unprofessional and not worth the money.
I got an extremely discounted deal on this course: regular price is $2499, yet I payed 10% of that. It still wouldn't be a bargain at $24.99
Just made my first purchase and there was an item missing when it arrived. I contacted support and was assured they would follow up with the fulfillment center. The issue was resolved immediately. Great communication the entire time.
I was super stoked to receive an awesome toy ordered by past me that current me had totally forgot about, only to open it and find the wrong item! Of course, despite my attempts to thwart it, this always leads to a negative combination of disappointment and an intense desire for instant gratification. You feel bad because it's not the service person's fault, but also you need that instant gratification and feel wronged (even though it was clearly just a simple error, and you admit that those happen all the time).
Then along came Zach@ support heros. I sent one simple email, and in return got a quick, very polite, very happy response that fulfilled my instant gratification with a tracking number for my item already on its way to my door :).
Not only was my problem fixed super quickly, but it was done with a happy-go-lucky poise and cheerfulness that put a smile on my face.

I received my items pretty quick but I was never given any tracking information. Every time I would check it told me it was being processed. So after 6 days I asked and got a response later that day after I got item in the mail. Fix tracking issue and I would give a 5
Bought a couple pairs of real nice blue tooth headphones, but one was damaged in shipping. These guys verified, followed up and made sure I got the replacement. 10/10
These guys answered my questions straightaway and then, instead of keep asking me to do this that and the other, implemented the total solution their end and Voila! So much better than any other support desk I've used.
I submitted a request to the stackskills customer service team the other day and I was pleasantly surprised with how promptly they responded! Their team member was very helpful and the problem had been resolved without me even needing to get back in touch. Looking forward to getting started with my courses :). On a Sunday, I emailed my question about an order I had placed. By Sunday afternoon, Zach had sent me an answer with easy step by step directions on how to solve my problem. I followed them and - my problem was solved. I felt I was treated like a human, not a machine. Thanks!

Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."

Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
