I purchase the wrong color for a bridesmaids dress for my best friend's wedding and prior to shipping I informed customer service of the mishap. I asked if I could return and they said I would need to wait until it had been delivered and then reach back out to initiate return. I initiated the return the same day of delivery just for them to say we don't see anything wrong with the dress I cannot return it but rather by a new one at a discounted price.

I ordered a "custom-made" dress from Stacees.com, paying extra for personalized sizing. The result? The dress doesn't match my measurements at all – it's clearly a scam. I exercised my legal right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, in accordance with French consumer law (Article L221-18 of the Code de la consommation). Despite this, the only customer service contact (Tess) refused my return, claiming I missed the deadline by a few hours – because they count in hours and time zones instead of calendar days, which is completely against the law. The law is clear: the 14-day period is counted in calendar days, up to midnight on the 14th day. After several messages, I still haven't been able to speak to a manager – only repetitive answers from Tess. This is an unacceptable and illegal practice.
I urge a manager to contact me immediately to resolve this issue. I am keeping written evidence of all communications and will escalate this legally, including reporting to the DGCCRF, and taking this matter to consumer authorities. This kind of customer treatment is shameful and unlawful.
I strongly advise against this company. Avoid at all costs. 🔁 Update: You know what? They offered me €10 to remove my review. Just continuing down the path of illegality.
