Scam! Waste of money.

Bought a 65 inch TV that all the sudden stopped working. 20 days past the manufacture warranty. So when I turned it on there was no picture at all. Because they couldn't see what they wanted, in pictures or a video, that they requested for my claim, they denied the claim. They judge your claim on a photo? No technician, just a picture or video! First off you are talking to someone in a foreign country, that you can barely understand. I sent all pictures they asked for, and just kept giving me a run around about more pictures. This company is about getting your 49$ when you purchase. Sams club is where I bought it. I will not be buying anything there again since this is the warranty they sell with there TV's.- It's sad, you can't buy a real warranty anymore for something like this. Every time you buy a Drill, a microwave, even a blender at Walmart, this is the warranty your sold. And they are as worthless as the paper they are written on. It's Smart for The store you buy it in. Because now when you walk in with it to do a return, and tell them you bought the 4 year warranty, they tell you to call this company representative From bangalidash! Someone that has no intention on doing anything but giving you a runaround, and keep asking for more and more info, then telling you pictures are not clear, send more. Then tells ya that since the TV won't come on, they can't see what the problem looks is, so they deny you.The truth is they prob pay out very very few claims anyone ever tries to submit.Don't waste your money. This is a big scam! And do not believe all the reviews you read on the Website. Those are reviews written by the company. I have home owners, car, and camper insurance though Allstate. This has caused me to drop them completely!

Transferred from Pakistan to Jamaica to Caribbean to Jamaica to Pakistan to Pakistan. Each person said they would transfer me to a US agent. NEVER HAPPENED. We don't have people in the US who speak English to assist us? Really?

We got square trade for a cell phone. We want to cancel. Square Trade can not find our policy, so they want to keep billing the card. When you call, you get people that barley speak English and are no help at all. Finally had to cancel our credit card to stop the automatic billing.

Waste of time

What a waste of time. Long drawn out process with little results. By the time you actually get through the online process then call be transferred all over. Told them I did everything they requested and then they wanted me to do it over the phone wipe the Tv clean and put all the info back in for a 3rd time when the Tv is just shot. Could have just bought a new TV for all the hours wrapped up into this BS scam. Never buy a warranty from them.

We bought a n extended warranty on an LG OLED 55" tv for 4 years it expires 4/07/2022. The picture has a distortion of the color in the middle of the screen and after sending all the information to Allstate (they bought square trade) they will not honor my warranty because they say that it is caused by a static image on the screen or having the brightness too high. I would think twice before you put your hard earned money into the outreached good hands. Here are some pictures. By the way we are 73 and 74 do you thing we do anything more than watch tv?

One call is someone that barley speaks English, the nest makes you promises things are gonna get done, then back to square one, then another non-English person, then an excuse as to why it's taking so long and "oh we didn't receive pictures (BS) send this email send that picture, call this number, press 2, I'll put you on hold for a while and get back to you (click). Like what the heck. I she. Purchased many times and have never made a claim and the one and only time I need it it seems there goal is to give me the run around until it's time to expire and then they'll say sorry we can't help now…. My advice, use a different warranty service.

Bought the plan from Target. When I tried to redeem they depreciated the value of the item because I had it for 11 months. When asked how that was allowed when the pamphlet I got says nothing about this, I was told it was in the Terms and Conditions sent to me 11 months after the purchase! How is that even legal! Worthless program built to steal your money!

Bought a set of Skullcandy earbuds on eBay. AllState SquareTrade was offered with 2 year coverage on purchase of the earbuds. I have had issues pairing the ear buds. When I attempted to file a claim SquareTrade indicated that since I was not able to pair the devices from the start they were defective and would not offer any assistance. What does it mean to have a plan if the SquareTrade will not provide any coverage. I will not consider SquareTrade as an added coverage going forward. Appears the will take any step possible not to pay a claim.

Made claim on an item that was close to the expiration date of the warranty, because it stopped working. Instructed to send item in to be repaired, repaired and returned a few days before warranty expires, did not receive paperwork and was not informed that warranty for repair is only good for 30 days. Item stopped working, doing the same thing it was doing when sent for repair, over the 30 days from repair return and I was told there is nothing they could do. The should offer warranty longer than 30 days on repair work or should have seen item could not be repaired to last 3 more year, and replaced item. Waste of money.

I can't beleive this is happening! This company is a complete fraud and should be prosecuted and brought before a judge. Mail fraud is actually happening and they get away with it. Please do what you can to break up this company. Shame of Amazon for doing business with them, Rating this company with a 1 is to good for it. My rating is -0

I called squaretrade and told them my power inverter was not working on aririval. They told me it wouldn't be covered because not working at first meant a preexisting condition. I read that their plans start on the first day of purchase of the item. I didn't even have it delivered for two weeks. I have never heard such nonsense in my life. Rather than deal with a bunch of scammers I'll bite the bullet on the price of insurance, but I'm stuck with a non working inverter. Every thing is digital including receipts, which I can't seem to access.

I purchased a Squaretrade warranty for $120 at Costco when I bought my cell phone. The coverage included cracked screens. I needed a repair and filed a claim. I was told that the $120 insurance plan that I had purchased applied to a $25 cellphone case I purchased when I bought the phone, not the phone itself. Seriously. This is a disreputable company and don't expect them to honor your warranty if you buy it. Waste of money.

I purchased and immediately returned a power recliner from Wayfair. I have been given no choice but, to contact my bank to dispute the furniture warranty part of my purchase. Wayfair and Allstate are yet to refund my 5 year warranty for a item that was immediately returned. Allstate was called twice. Wayfair was called numerous times. I am disputing the missing refund with my bank. Allstate likes to haggle in emails and has done nothing to correct this issue and offer me an instant refund of my money. I would give their service zero stars. It has been a terrible experience and they have done nothing to correct this situation.

Laser printer warranty for 3 years was $60. Two and a half years into the warranty, my printer developed a problem, I contacted Square Trade about a possible repair. Square Trade did every sneaky way possible to just get rid of me like your connection timed out, please try again later. I have been using computers for decades but they treat customers like me as morons. Square Trade is NOT an honorable company, do yourself a favor and ignore them and their scam warranties!

Warranty on TV

I brought a tv from Walmart Feb 2019 and forgot I even purchased the warranty. On November 3rd this yr I woke up as normal and proceeded to turn on tv like always and tv won't turn on. Went on internet and tried everything but nothing still worked, I only got the blue light that lets you know the tv was on. Goes online to see when did I purchase tv from Walmart app since receipts are saved on there and that's when I found out I purchased the warranty and it was still good til 2022 …
So I go online same day 11/03/2021 and started my claim Allstate (SquareTrade) I then called the number and gave them everything they asked for. They shot me an email for picks so I sent them pics of my black screen but made sure they could see that the blue light was on. They sent and email back that same day letting me know I was covered and they were going to refund me for the tv…11/12/21 I received a check in the mail for $239.27 and I paid $259.99 2yrs 9m ago so I'm a satisfied customer… I will definitely be getting a warranty again from these guys on my next tv purchase! Thanks

Bought a phone at Walmart with the two year protection plan. SquareTrade is the protection plan, and when you go on their website they say replacement but when you call them with a claim oh we don't have that phone we can't replace it you can't take it back to Walmart because there's damage,... So the first time I called the solution was I'll give you less money than what you paid for the phone. No that's not working for me so we hung up and she called me back in like 2 minutes, and made the exception of will you can't get it fixed because it's too damaged you can't get it replaced because we don't do that which was a lie according to what's on their website, but we will send you what you paid for the phone by check in about a week. They should overthink their policies on this because who can go without their phone for a week?! By All rights I should have been able to take this phone back since SquareTrade didn't have a phone in stock, I should have been able to go back to Walmart have them call Walmart and get my phone replaced immediately and just pick up another phone. Never again will I buy a protection plan for anything that I buy at Walmart! I am extremely unhappy with the way they do business, the lies that they tell and the "Oh, we'll send you some money but not what you paid for the item?! What a horrible way to do business, and what a terrible protection plan this is. I would like for the CEO of the company or the board members to go without their phone for a week because the protection plan that they may have on their phone does not replace a phone if it's unfixable.

I sent in my controller and got it sent back in a less responsive condition. After sending it back a second time, they pretended there was no issue. When I called back to follow up, they said there's nothing they can do to help me I was polite and did not raise my voice, but was hung up on while trying to explain the situation. HORRIBLE experience. Would get a negative rating if I could.
