Not only was spokeo a great service to have, I was in the hospital and unable to access my phone for a month, during that month I was charged two separate fees for the service. They will find an address for you; they know a per centage will forget to cancel subscription and end up paying a monthly fee for an extended period for nothing. They are oh so sweet when they end your subscription.

I like Spokeo. I use it to help find an address that I need or how to spell someone's name.
Like today I knew someone who's husband passed away. I put her name in and found his name. I could not find a death notice. I found out I was spelling his name incorrectly. Really helps.

So far, I have no complaints. Their customer service is the best that I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, their site did not have what I was looking for. They promptly canceled my trial subscription as I requested. Thus far, there have been no charges to my credit card. Because of their superior customer service, I am going to take another look at what they offer. I may yet become one of their customers.

I have made a single purchase from this site, never consented or indicated that I wanted to subscribe to their services. However, they automatically subscribe and start withdrawing money from the account every month.
Moreover, the service I paid for was not successful, but they still do not return the advance payment

I paid $19.95 for what was supposed to be an "enhanced" report. All I got was the person's addresses (the current one was not even correct) along with several pages of neighbor information for past addresses. None of this information is helpful or useful, and it can be accessed quickly and for free online without paying for a report. I will say, though, that the customer service representative was pleasant and professional despite not being able to help me or give me a refund.

Answer: Watch for the $20 charge at the end of the month. They say a person is out, then the charge comes a month later. Had to cancel my card and get new # to keep them out of my wallet.
Answer: Three alternatives: 1) Logon with you old Spokeo account and contact customer support. 2) If you can't remember your old logon, 2.1) try a google search to find Spokeo customer service link or telephone number. 2.2) Spokeo has notes on some reviews. Maybe they have included their support number or link? 3) Call Visa and ask them to kill the Spokeo charges to your Visa account.
Answer: Not that I know of but they're slick the moment you put your card info in it saves and if you use something that takes payment they'll charge the card without asking.

Answer: I cancelled Spokeo service due to selling me misinformation or inaccurate information. I got this in writing from David at Spokeo. They are good about sending a letter about we are sorry about not meeting your expectations. Our terms of use states we can do this blah blah blah. After I cancelled this subscription and got this in writing from David, I got a new debit card from my bank. Spokeo found the NEW CARD and charged it. I took the problem to my bank and got a credit. Be very careful of these people, watch your bank statements.
