I was shipped the wrong item. The number they give *******419 does not work. It just hangs up. I'm pissed off because what I ordered and what I received is a major price difference.

Violated their own 6 foot rule to tell me to lift my mask a bit higher on my noise. LOLOL I was wearing a mask and it was covering my nose. Some associate who clearly wears way too much make up, went out of her way to tell me to lift my mask up higher... you se crap from China and then jack up the price... NO THANKS
God forbid you to ask these people to do their jobs... I needed to return an item that on the receipt clearly states I can return but for some reason, the staff feels personally offended. The first person just outright told me I couldn't return the item but then when I read the receipt went back in to find the other staff member upset and slam the receipt on the counter. I will never shop at any of Spencer's locations ever again. Pretty ballsy move Spencers considering you can order anything from Amazon or find any of your items pretty much anywhere and get treated better.
Shipping almost got messed up at first but it still arrived within 4 days of ordering instead of 2 days so I can't complain. I used basic shipping. It seemed like the shipping and taxes tacked a lot onto the item but, if I remember correctly, last time I bought the white one in the store and I ended up paying less per item online (even with shipping and taxes included) as the online order comes with two instead of one. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my order and I'll be back to buy another after these wear out.
I recently bought a gag Christmas sweater from Spencer's paid $18 for promised 2 day delivery. Noticed today (the day that I was supposed to receive) the sweater was still a ways away. Called USPS and was told that the delivery date was now 4-5 days later than told by Spencer's. A representative with USPS informed me that Spencer's only paid for the standard ground shipping ($8) Vs. 2 day delivery that I had already paid an extra $18 for to insure that I had my purchase a few days before needed.
Hope that extra $12 was needed as I see on most reviews that refunds are never received by the customer.
Will NEVER shop here again.
Canceled an order on November 16th and 3 weeks later still no refund. Now saying it will come in 21 days. Horrible services
It's hard to believe Spencer's does not know how to ship glassware. I ordered 12 ceramic cups, 8 damaged. Shipped through FedEx. Yes FedEx employees does not care about the FRAGILE label on boxes. So it is Very Important that You Package the Item Correctly! Not with one piece of bubble wrap around the cup that is not secured so when it's being tossed by FedEx employees the cup doesn't clash into the other cups and Break.
I have purchased house goods using Gift voucher on 30. 10. 20 worth Rs. 3289/-. And my actual gift voucher amount is Rs. 5000/-. But I can't able redeem remaining amount due to your billing person blender mistake. Today I. E 08. 11. 20 I went to the Attapur Branch, Hyderabad and tried to use difference amount. But Mr. Goutham said the same coupon valid for one time purchase one. But I didn't know at the time if my first visit. Finally I have list my remaining amount Ra. 1800/- due to your billing executive blender mistake. So please look into this and resolve my issue ASAP. Invoice no. H*******/1/388
I ordered a tshirt online. Shipping keep getting delayed and I recieved later than expected. Then I needed to exhange for another size. Spencer's online requires you pay for shipping on exchanges (unlike Hot Topic who will pay for exchanging a product). So I paid to return the shirt and ordered it again in the correct size. The second time I ordered the product the shipping arrived later than expected again. Then I checked my credit statement and I never recieved the refund for the orginal product I returned. I contacted customer service and they were not helpful at all. Spencers keep telling me to wait 3 to 5 buisness days for refund, then additional 5 to 14 buisness days, then additional 5 to 7 days, etc. Now it more then 30 buisness days and I still never got a refund on my orginal order from 2 months ago. Customer service didn't even answer my last email after multiple complaints. I had to call up my credit card company and file a dispute on the charge because why should I have to pay for something I returned? This is unacceptable. Going forward I will be ordering products from Hot Topic when online shopping. I never had a problem with them and shipping is quicker, also they pay for shipping on exchanges. I would suggest the same for any online shopper looking for a better experience.
I never got a shipping number or anything in my email from spencers and after about a month I reached out to them through Instagram and they sent me some shipping thing that said my stuff arrived EVEN though it never did! I usually have nothing but good things to say when going to the stores in person, but spencer's online is absolutely AWFUL!
When you get there, of course they want to sell you something, ones you buy it is a total nightmare, I bought a washer and dryer and a mattress a couple months ago, after the delivery I noticed dryer had a few scratches, the mattress had some kind of defect, the delivery guys did a couple deep scratches on my bed frame, I called Jason(salesman)immediately and sent him pictures of damages, he said he would get on it right away, I have been texting him every few days, comes back with he can not believe his customer service team has not got back to me, today is 6/12/20, they have done nothing to take care of problem, I would not recommend this store, not sure if the other stores are that way, does not even deserve one star in my book
It has been 2 months since someone called me from Spencers to replace the mattress I bought from there and fix damage to bed frame they did when delivering it, I do not understand how people can do business like that, I am in the delivering business, if i were to do that to my customers, I would be out of business, it took around a month to replace dryer door that was scratched when they delivered that, I understand shipments get delayed, but you(Spencers)need to keep customers updated, which you are not, just ignoring the problem is not going to fix it, I would never buy or refer anybody to that store, I have been very patient, if it was someone else who knows what they would do, if I am not suppose to be bugging you about that kind of stuff, let me know, give me a number of someone that cares, even tho Jason said if I had any problems to call him, he is ignoring my calls and text by the way, do not even know if writing a bad review really helps, cause nothing has got done, just beware when buying at Spencers, they are really nice to sell, but not nice to resolve problems.
I recently purchased a set of 4 tongue rings along with a set of 4 eyebrow rings. The tongue rings chipped completely within 48 hours of having them in. As for the eyebrow rings, 3 sets completely SHATTERED in the hand. Very disappointed. Definitely not what I want happen to my jewelry, as I'm sure anyone who pays $40 would agree with me. I barely got to wear any of them.
If I could give this company zero stars I would. Worst service and worst experience I have ever had shopping online with any company! Out of 3 orders I have made in the past month I have only received one of them! One order I made over 3 weeks ago said it was delivered, but it clearly was not since I never received it in my mailbox! My last order that I placed over 2 weeks ago has been pending to the Post Office for over a week now. Customer service is horrible as they haven't helped me with any of these issues. I wasted money to not receive the things I wanted. I will ONLY be shopping in store from now on.
So I recently bought a harness there for 39.99 upon getting it and opening it the box itself had a price sticker of 24! They overcharged me for one of the cheapest made things I've ever bought there tried to message them and of course "theyll look into it" but I'm not gonna hold my breath oh and it's been a few days since I left a review on that item also and it still has yet to post so get the feeling that never will (edit: they did end up refunding me 15 dollars and changing the price online to 25)
I told then I wanted to cancel an order and they sent an item out anyway and still charged my card. I never got the item and I had to go through my bank to get the money refunded. I guess that's the only way they can get money is by stealing money from people's credit card.
They have not refund my money yet it's going on a whole month I have not received my shipment or been refunded my money! Give me my $#*!ing money back!
They do not pay you back for return shipping nor shipping spent on the original order. They will sucker you out of $20 (or whatever your shipping costs)if you do not like your purchase. I got my items falling apart and poor quality. Literally falling apart. But I still don't get everything refunded. I even went to a physical location first because there was a store near me, and I was refused because I had paid with Paypal and their system cannot process that despite accepting that form of payment. They take online returns in store... but cannot process what they accept. Okay. Go home and email them---ask for a return label and of freaking COURSE they don't provide that customer service. So now I have to pay to return. Really messed up. I will never shop at this cheap a** quality for BS prices store ever again. I suggest you avoid them too.
They have no idea what they are doing. The idiots send emails that aren't ment to be sent to you, they have no idea where the orders are and cannot provide tracking information. Totally incompetent. Do not throw your money away.
Ordered 4 items online. They were all shipped separately and by priority mail, which I did not ask for. Due to this it was sent 4 separate times through fedex and I have incurred the same fees for delivery/custom fees as I did for the items.
Save your money and buy products made in your home country; this company is a joke. Contacted customer service and they are of no help. I hope all Canadians read this review and make the correct choice before ordering.
