The Eddie Bauer Eyewear Hard Eyeglass/Sunglass Case was poorly designed and/or manufactured as it does not close completely with an open gap remaining. I would not use that case.

I have used these for 15+ years. First rate product. I buy several at a time because (not unexpectedly) the holes ultimately widen and lose their grip and I don't want to lose my glasses while I'm waiting for replacements. I usually get 5 months per strap, which I'm satisfied with. I've tried several other brands over the years, but these are light years ahead. Excellent grip, no fuss.
