Have waited 4 months for my promised contract buyout check. They said it was delayed because i submitted it to the wrong email despite my following their instructions to the letter (the form says *******@charter.com but it should have said *******@spectrum.com since then they keep promising to "expedite emails' or i've now been "given a ticket" presumably fast tracked and promised call backs i never receive. Nothing but empty platitudes and stall techniques.

My email has been out for a month and I spent 11 hours on the phone with customer service without success. As an engineer, I know they have just been keeping me on the phone so personnel in Philipines and India can keep Spectrum making money. They make obviously false statements and their dialects are like someone in China trying to talk in their home language. I will make false requests for service people just to laugh in their faces. What else can I do? Not pay my bill? HA!

The worst in every way
October 31, 2017

DON'T waste your time or money. Strike 1 - I received a bill in the mail with a due date prior to the post mark date. I immediately went online and paid it - late. I later learned was billed a $25 late fee. Strike 2 - One week after my service was installed my internet was disconnected because my account was over due (refer to Strike 1). I spent 73 minutes on the phone figuring this out and was forced to pay a $4.95 reconnect fee. Strike 3 - I frequently did not have service. I had Spectrum for 9 weeks and spent over 5 hours on calls with service technicians. I learned that if I wanted to use the internet, I needed to unplug then replug my router almost every time. When I called to tell them I was cancelling my service they made fun of me. But it was worth it. I've had WOW for two weeks now with ZERO problems and the bill is lower!

Lost channels
October 30, 2017

I have Time Warner/Spectrum cable/internet/phone. Been a customer forever. I have one cable box and on other TV hooked to cable with no box. Until recently I have been able to get MSNBC on my non-boxed TV. Now it is gone. Called Spectrum and was informed that they (Spectrum) are doing away with channels and eventually I will need a cable box for all TVs I want to watch. Doing it to curb cable theft I was told. Really doing it so they can rent you a second cable box as far as I am concerned. Prices keep going up and service keeps going down. They are as bad as the scam artists that go door to door trying to rip people off except they are doing it legally I guess.

I was waiting on a tech to come between 1-2pm. At 2:30 I called and they said oh I will have them call again. Hour later I called again and they said oh we had the wrong phone number so now they will call you. Hour later they told me the tech had been cancelled since the issue was on their end. I took a day off of work and nobody bothered to call me to tell me the tech was cancelled AND it took 3 phone calls for someone to even tell me it was canceled. Horrible service and I will be switching to someone else for my tv and internet services.

Spectrum unreliability

Spectrum is the worst provider. Internet, phone and TV go out consistently. Why are you even in business if you can't provide reliable service?

I've had this crappy company since May nothing but problems customer service sucks they will not work with you everytime we turn around your internet goes on and off on and off they tell you to unplug your box plug it back in and still doesn't work and then when your bills not do they shut you off and say it is due they are not worth the time I would not recommend anybody to get them I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to get these people I wish they would shut their doors for good

I was quoted a price for cable services (channels provided for the price). When I couldn't get the channel I was told I would have, I called Spectrum. The person I got had me on the phone for 30 minutes, rebooting my box, etc. Told me he didn't know the problem and would have someone contact me regarding a time for a tech to come out to my home. I received a call from someone who stated a tech would be out the next morning between 8-9 a.m. when no one showed up the next morning I again called Spectrum to see what was going on. At this point they told me I needed to pay an additional $12 a month to get the channels. Big rip off. First I was quoted a so called "package deal" and was told these channels were included. Second why not tell me on my first call inquiring why I didn't have these channels that there was an additional charge, not have me reboot my system and tell me a tech was coming out. Absolute WORST experience. If you have a choice of cable providers bear in mind my experience before making yor choice. If I didn't live in an apartment complex where I had to use Spectrum I wouldn't use Them

WORST IN EVERYTHING

IF I CAN GIVE MINUS REVIEW I WOULD! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER. WORST INTERNET CONNECTION. THEY DONT HONOR THE PROMISE THEY TOLD YOU WHEN YOU SIGN UP AND JUST CHEAT UR MONEY... THE CUSTOMER SERVICE N THE SUPERVISOR IS SO RUDE. DONT TRUST THEM! THE AGENT WILL TRY TO SMOOTH TALK YOU INTO SIGN UP N GIVE ALL THAT HEAVEN PRICE PROMISES BUT THE COMPANY DIDNT WANT TO HONOR IT AND WILL CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YES EVERYTHING WITHOUT CARE ABOUT THE AGENT PROMISES... ALL THEY SAID IS WE WILL HANDLE THIS MISSCOM WITH THE AGENT BUT YOU STILL NEED TO PAID FOR EVERYTHING U DONT EVEN AGREE IN THE BEGINNING. THEY JUST THE WORST COMPANY EVER

I would like to give them a negative number...

My neighbors change from spectrum to another company... spectrum came out and shut my business off...
My phone (no calls in or out)
My internet (new we can't run credit cards... most of my business is done this way)
And no TVs (a minor inconvenience)

They credited my account $6.00 (and only after I complained... which took about 40 min) I lost business because of their total incompetence...

Their view 'ops sorry, not our fault or our problem'

Time to find a new company...

Brighthouse would work with you on pricing Spectrum is the exact opposite as soon as they took over rates rose in some cases $100.00 or more I was lucky $40.00 for me I had to give up services canceled phone and down to one box with limited channels. I saw a lot of my neighbors getting satellite or Frontier I went with Frontier internet/TV two receivers free modem $75.00 two years free HBO lots of channels I was told by a lot of people their leaving Spectrum for other providers.

Am in a country club with bundled cable. I have added Internet, phone and smart home. TV quality fluctuating hourly from poor to good. Internet fluctuates hourly from none to acceptable. Have had over 10 service calls, all with differing stories. Net result is service is poorer today than 2 years ago. I even found them overcharging my account. No refunds for overcharge or credits for bad service.

This company has the worst service by far. I was in the middle of doing some work all the sudden no internet service, not the first time! I when ahead and called the customer service, couldn't tell me why or when it will be back just the the generic scripted lifeless don't care answer! $130 a month this company has a monopoly in the area. I looked for other companies can offer reliable service but non do! Spectrum is the sole provider of unreliable service. In addition their cable tv is just as worst as their internet service, continues to freeze day and night on a regular basis.

Pay more works less

Pay more and have it work less. Getting rid of wifi and paying for unlimited cellular. Spectrum services drop several times a day and they don't care. Can anyone say monopoly

I have been with spectrum for 4 months and EVERY month I have to call because there is a problem with my bill. They just increase my bill every month like I would not notice, there is no warning. I asked for two new boxes because their boxes suck, so they sent me new ones not that I think it would have made a difference because they compress their signal too much. They gave me NO grace period to return the other two and charged me daily for 4 boxes. Now they want to remove 23 channels and I'm guessing that the bill will not go down. Oh and the internet is only about half the speed they claim per the speed test I do weekly. I hope people read this before they decide to go with spectrum.

The only way to get reception on my tv's is to have digital cable. I don't like Spectrum because they are too expensive, always have hidden fees, I have no movie channels(hbo, cinemax, or other) no internet, no phone through spectrum and the bill is still over 100.00 a month. I wanted to get satellite service but I am surrounded by trees so that is not gonna work. Spectrum is a TERRIBLE service to have, so if you really don't need it DON'T GET IT! Oh did I mention the increases in price monthly?!

At beginning of hurricane Harvey, Spectrum went out and didn't come back on til Monday after the storm. Relative has Dish and it was operating during all of the storm with only a few blips during heavy wind and/or rain. Will probably switch.

Spectrum, time Warner or whatever are scammers. Got their when they are on promotion $29.99 each when bundled. To cut all short short. My bill suppose to be $110.00 plus tax. Guess what? Got $180.00. When I called, the lady couldn't explain those hidden charges. Later one guy intervened and told me that I will see refund in the next bill. Boom boom... my current bill is... $210.00 hahahaha. Ok am outtttt!
