Horrible experience with this company. Had to call over ten time to try to get things done correctly and things did not worked properly. After 8 hours of dealing with multiple departments and trying to get my cable to work, I cancelled cable the same day I was supposed to get it installed. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. AND now I have to drive the equipment to their office because they will not even pick it up.
Price gougers and horrible customer service. Wish there was competition in the cable field. No flexibility, rude people answering the phone.
DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE FROM THEM.
My internet services and phone services goes off on a daily basis. What I mean by that is the box cuts completely off. This is the only way I can get in contact with my kids while I work nights. Last night I had to leave abruptly because I was so worried about my kids and was wondering why no one was picking up. That's money I'm missing out on. In my opinion their services should be free because they are not worth a damn. Not to mention their is always something with the ON DEMAND CHANNELS. It always says title is unavailable right now try again later. But yet you expect me to pay a $150 bill. Then they have the nerve to offer security for your home. What good will that do if their services $#*! up on a daily basis.
Paying more for less. I am paying $191 now for something called spectrum silver. This is more than I paid for the Triple Play package which included a phone and internet HBO and Showtime and Starz and Epix, I have scaled down now to NO phone and less premium channels and I'm paying more! This is beyond anything that I imagined would happen after Time warner became Spectrum.
Cant BELIEVE this company is still making money! We are all suckers. Total lies... good luck on the buy out contract! They wont approve my paperwork I sent saying that it was a monthly bill not early termination fee! I wish I would have read these reviewd before I switched! And my previous provider double our bill, thats why we switched. Im gonna unplug. I think the live streaming may be the way to go... get out ftom underneath these money sucking greedy bastards before its too late. UNBELIEVABLE!
No service for 3 weeks and No adjustment on bill, According to Spectrum I had service through out the hurricane, I was out for almost 3 weeks, Called and was told I never lost service, they are not adjusting my bill... BULL. Switching to At&t

Annually rips off most senior citizens. They over charges for all their seniors if they don't stay on top of billing. Spectrum will steal them blind every time. Bring in another company to replace they're overcharging no service company theifs. How can a company that contunally gets bad reviews keep a buisness liense.
I spent 20 minutes trying to give Spectrum money online. Done with it. I printed a check and will send it with a paper bill via USPS. They'll get it sometime.
The service is fine, but paying online, which I do, is impossible, as the name on our credit card isn't 'valid' and can't be edited. Website problem, but a big one to me, as paying bills, by check and online, is my job 24/7.

Horrible company. Trains employees to lie and deceive their customers. Upon plan expiration with time Warner I was switched to Spectrum and promised to keep all my channels but was deceived and they wouldn't own it. Disgusting!
Tried the switch to cable (already had internet with Spectrum), after my initial cable company went up in price... don't do it!
Customer svc rep lied, said I would get a certain channel ( which was only 1 of 3 I really wanted), when I tried it, lo and behold you gotta pay for it! She told me it was included. The 30 day free trial is a scam. Still have to pay if you change your mind, not only that, my Internet svc now went up an extra $7.00!

The channels dont work often, whenever we call customer service they send a technician over who doesnt usually fix the problem. There have been 3 technicians who have dropped by my home already and the channels still go out and the internet stops working constantly. Biggest regret was switching over from frontier to spectrum. Set the story right Spectrum is a brand name TWC states are contracted through TWC for another 3 years. Charter is not in any TWC state go by the pricing of 2017 TWC prices not spectrum it's not in our market yet. Spectrum is working off of TWC towers and services and markets. Not all is created equal. So confusing to make matters worse we still pay the highest prices fees an surcharges we can buy our own modem it's not free. Spectrum is lying to every customer and still over charging us. TWC states are not being treated fairly.
Horrible service with horrible customer service. Ive been a customer since 2009 and they keep going up on my bill without any explanation. They keep saying my promotion period ended. I had basic cable ( no movie channels at all!) and high speed Internet for $180. I still had the old gray cable box and 1 dvr. Poor customer service! Im happy I switched to dish network.
When I got the service, I specifically said, "no introductory rate". I did not want my bill going up after a bit. Guess what? Bill goes up as a result of a introductory rate. I called and was told under no circumstances would they lower it back. This is just another example of poor business practices. Spectrum is as big a joke as Time Warner was. Just change the name every few years and consumers will think somethings changed.
Slow speeds when service is actually working. Wont work with you once promo expires. This garbage company wont last.
Ive been living in Alabama for 2 months now and Ill be damn they make sure the damn Alabama game is on. On three occasions Ive been wanting to watch the Georgia game and they always want to service their stations at that time. Hell, but once the damn Alabama game come on the channel is up and running with no problems. I do not recommend spectrum if your anything but an Alabama fan. Roll f****** tide my a**. Go Damn Dawgs

First off, the service is horrible - the internet bandwidth is a rip off, never able to handle the load of two devices let alone more. I relocated out of state and cancelled my service the first week of September. I was told by Spectrum to turn in my equipment either in my original state (Maine) or turn into a Spectrum store at my new state/destination (Colorado). So I did just that, on Sept 22,2017, I entered my Colorado Spectrum store and turned in my 2 DVR's and modem with remotes. I have a receipt for such return. On Sept 27, I receive a bill for outstanding equipment. So I call customer service and they say just wait until you receive your final bill and it should reflect. So I wait. On Oct 18, I receive a collections notice for $160! I enter my Colorado store and ask what happened. The CO store says they don't communicate with main Spectrum because my cancelled account was originally Time Warner (prior to being bought out). Really?
I try calling the customer service line and am on hold for an hour waiting for a supervisor. Once I get a supervisor, I'm on hold for another hour. So because this company is stuck in 1970's with their inability to communicate and inability to process a signed receipt by THEIR agent... I'm in collections. As of Nov 1, they say the equipment on the receipt is not the equipment they seek. There are 3 other pieces with different serial numbers. Sounds like one of their "stellar" installers forgot to return equipment after an upgrade or something. Why on earth would I have 6 pieces of equipment, and if for some bizarre reason I did, what benefit would I have keeping it when I'm only getting service for 3?
Do yourself a favor, and go ELSEWHERE for your entertainment needs. Reading other testimonies I can tell this company won't last long. I will NEVER return to this deceitful and corrupt company. I don't care if I have to pay an arm and a leg more, I will never do it. I have already preached the gospel about this so-called company and people are following suit by cancelling and going DirecTV.
I tried paying my bill via the automated phone system. After putting in my information, it tells me that they are experiencing technical difficulties (this is been the case multiple times), it sends me to a live person to pay but they warn me that it will be a FIVE dollar fee to pay someone "live" verses the automated system. First of all, I have heard of fees for "convenience" or whatever but $5 is ridiculous! Second, I explained the technical difficulties to the agent and that I didn't want to pay the $5 fee (shouldn't have to, their problems, not my mistake). He replied by saying that he saw on my account that they had already waived this fee before (due to the same problems in the past). He basically said that they might waive the fee once as a courtesy but that they would NEVER waive that fee because there are other ways to pay. I just wanted to pay my darn bill and they gave me a hassle to do so. This wasn't the first time we have been given a hard time doing so. If you are having a technical issue on your end, FIX it, but until then, WAIVE THE FEE because YOU are at fault for having a system that was down (again, not the first time). The INTERNET service is fine, but they make it really hard to pay the bill, and of course hassle you if you are late. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
