Bad customer services plus bad internet service. Called customer more than 8 times in the first month trying to fix unstable internet. Every time waste more than 20 on automate. Still haven't got it fix.

I think this is the first review I have ever written because it takes a lot to make me not like a company. Spectrum is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. To begin with, my internet did not work properly the first 6 months I had their service. They sent out approximately 8 reps and only one could kind a fix it. Its slow and cuts out on a regular basis. In addition, I was told a few premium channels would be included in my package in January so I should call and cancel my premium package then. I did and they told me that was false information. I was also told I would have these Chanels when I signed up... lies. Recently, my bill went up $30 more dollars. I just called to cancel last week. Fios will be $70 cheaper a month for the same service. Spectrum is a horrible company. They have horrible customer service, techs that are clueless, and very expensive. I will never work with them again!

SPECTRUM SUCKS

This is by far the worst company imaginable. For those who would be new customers, stay away. If you buy a modem from them you APPARENTLY HAVE TO RETURN IT IF YOU MOVE OUT OF STATE. They never called me, billed me, emailed me, or invoiced me. I had no clue that they put a delinquency of a measly $45.00 that is now on my credit for another 7 years even after I paid it when I found out about it!
They are the only provider in Saint Pete and the service is awful.
If you want to start a new service or need a lower rate, it takes MINIMUM 5 tries/calls to get a tech to your address to install or "verify" connection is good so they can give the green light. God this company is such sh**.
STAY AWAY. GO WITH FRONTIER. That's what I'm doing.
Spectrum will screw you out of your money.

When I order there services they told me I was gonna Pay for one receiver, I have explained them that I have my own modem and router, they told me I wasnt gonna get charge for the internet wi fi, here was the surprised when I received the first bill i was being charge for the second box and for the wi fi I called them right away and they told me I was gonna get credit for which I never did, I ended it up cancel there service now they are charging me 250 dollares for there service which I only had it for 20 days. They gave me a crappy explanation saying the order was pending, the internet service when from 29 dollars to 57 due that I cancel their bundle. If I were you I will recommend to think twice before ordering their service.

I want everyone whether you want to buy their stock or their service to read this:
Spectrum open ghost account with my information and i asked for years and never be closed although every time they said they did!
Apil-2018 I got a letter the internet service will increase the price from $49.99 to $69.99 soon and not specify the date. It is a 40% price increasing, and i decided to cancel the service. Almost the same time, I saw my bill already increased to $69.99. I called in to cancel the only service of internet I purchased before and the customer offered me $59.99 and tried her best to keep me as a customer from July-2018. At the same time, my bill is $69.99 from the April-2018 and nobody responsible for it. I filed BBB complain and no solution! I wrote to the CEO and NO RESPONSE! I filed complain again to BBB and CEO again and finally some liars called in and offered solution: Adjust my charge and offer me one month free internet because the more than 20 hours i spend on the process. I closed the BBB case and i found they DID NOTHING AND STILL BILLED ME ON JULY and the ghost account under my name is still there! Shame for this CEO! They are stealing people's money without any management, create ghost account of customer to show wall street how good of their business! Stay away and ban the business of Spectrum!

I own a rental house that the current tenant had Spectrum install service. There already was cable run into the downstairs and upstairs, but this Spectrum installer ran a new cable around the outside of the house on 3 sides, drilling and fastening the cable through vinyl siding. Then when he got to the far side he ran the cable up the side and then back across the middle of the house, drilling holes to hold the cable and finally drilled through the wall into the upstairs. Area. It's an incredible mess having this black cable hanging on 3 sides of the house on almond colored siding.

I don't know how anyone could be so stupid and not look or use the existing cable. I'm looking to sue these morons in small claims court. They deserve a no star rating!

Terrible service

If it were possible to give them zero stars that's what they would have. They don't even deserve one star. There are always problems with services. You spend way too much time talking to customer service about errors all to only get $2-3 in credit. I'd like to think everyones time is worth so much more. I absolutely hate the fact that they are the only one that services my area. I would NEVER recommend this company. Was better when they were TWC. Spectrum is clueless.

Almost 100% negative comments. Went in to cancel my cable tv service but keep internet. Customer service rep treated me like crap and talked down to me. Does she not realize i am still a customer? Do some customer service training please. You are very lucky that you don't have more competition or else you would have zero customers.

Disappointed...

I had issues, but end up switching. Now, it's bad everywhere. No "On Demand"... it sucks. Waiting Tues. I put Visa card on hold until issues resolved... if they drop them, then go with DirectTV. :)

Absolutly awful

We've had spectrum for awhile now and had so many issues that they keep sending their technicians out and the same problem keeps happening and they say keep blaming our equipment, its not our equipment it's there company that wrong. Our internet and cable have gone out at the same time at least 3 time in the time we've had them and they have nothing to say on how to permanently fix it from happening again. I really do not like what there company has turned out to be since spectrum has bought them

We decided to leave sling and go with spectrum tv because we already had their internet, huge mistake the app is terrible and never works and for $200 a month no thank you, we are leaving spectrum for frontier my sister has them and at least the service is reliable.

Trying to cancel service has to be the biggest pain. Go through all the prompts just to have it send you to the wrong person (this happened twice)... Overpriced and bad internet speeds. Thank God for Allo Internet in Lincoln!

Horrible Cable

I have a real problem when you have to rent boxes and then have to out and buy new TV's. We are going to have to purchase 3 HD TV's to watch TV. This is a crime I want cable and to be able to turn on the TV and go directly to my desire station and not have to go through a guide that half the time does not come up then have to go through and reset the system. I am in the process of looking for a new service. I hope that this helps others to look for a different system especially when you have perfectly good TV's that are not HD capable.

As a former employee, I have worked for spectrum for 5 years. I can firmly say this company has no respect or value towards their PSW's and Nurses. The management and staff look down on PSW's and nurses. The pay rate is not what you expect. When there is not enough hours you are stuck and out of work which happened quite frequently.
When asked for vacation you need to give 6 months notice good luck getting Christmas holidays and New Years off! You are expected to work every holidays and weekends. The management is terrible, very demanding, and they do not encourage their employees at all! I once went a manger (Karleen) and addressed my concern to get request time off she replied," I don't give a rats $#*!". I mean come on. They are very inconsiderate. I Had said I am taking courses for nursing she had replied, " you are not the only one taking nursing courses---others are and they are managing". The point is after 5 years I have come recognition spectrum management is absolutely terrible and have no consideration towards people.
During Christmas, spectrum holds a separate party for PSW's and nurses. Meanwhile the staff of spectrum has their own private lavish party when the PSW's and Nurses attend to lousy Sheraton Hotel. One of the coordinators approached me and said, Oh how come the PSW's and Nurses have different Christmas parties? I was so shocked and felt so devalued. Its sad because the PSW's and Nurses are the backbone of the company and bring in the hard work.

Also when you start to work, you will be expected to work with all the difficult clients, heavy clients, bed ridden especially. Etc. Do expect to experience back pain, severe hand pain and hand cramping, wrist pain, mental stress, and feeling of being unappreciative.
I hope this message will open peoples eyes and save them from the trouble of having to experience what I had. There are so many better companies out there with great pay etc, just look!
Spectrum is a mockery to healthcare.

Company is a liar

I switched from direct t. V. to spectrum a year ago, did it and was told about how they cover the early buy put. It's been a year now and they still did not do my buy out claim how they are backed up then say how I never submitted the forms which I did 3 time and once took it to one of their stores, they claimed to have called me but they keep getting my personal Information wrong, tell me how they will call me back but never do. Over charged me $600 and when I asked them to return the difference they instead returned the full among weeks later without me knowing and now turned off my services saying I own over $700 now. My cable and Internet are very basic. My bill went higher every month. So yo save my credit score I had to pay the buy out myself and all spectrum has to say is they sent up a ticket, no idea what that means but it's been sent every week for a year. Now I get to sit in a quite house with no services

Uninformed consumer

I cancelled my service because I moved house. While using Spectrum I was never told the modem equipment was rented so I left it behind in the apartment when I moved (it doesn't belong to me-why would I take it with me?
One month later, when paying my final bill the agent informs me that I owe $100 for unreturned equipment or I will be taken to collections. This was the first I heard about the responsibility of the consumer to return the companies modem. Returning the modem would have been simple if informed of the requirement. I mentioned that there were many occasions I could have been told to return the equipment, but since I had not been advised to return the modem, I could no longer do so because the apartment was rented to another Tennant.
The agents supervisor repeated that company policy requires the return of rented equipment or the customer will be charged for it.
I asked to speak to the supervisors supervisor because there is something wrong with a business model that holds the uninformed consumer accountable. I am awaiting the call will little hope of empathy after reading other reviews of this business. However, I will insist that Spectrum employees are trained to better inform the consumer of their responsibilities.
In this case, Spectrum should take the responsibility for not informing me and remove the $100 charge from my account.

Just like i said. Can't keep up with their on demand. They will turn off your service if you do not pay your bill one to two week early and inturupt your service
Hire real employees with some kind of experience.
