Moved into a place with 'free' wifi and router, but the previous tenants took power supply to the modem. Called Spectrum numerous tries to get them to say they'd mail me the power supplies. Never came! Called again and told they couldn't mailed it to me and suggested a 65 mile trip to pick one up. I complained and the guy hung up on me.
Can't get the phone number of the 'local' Spectrum supply base 30 miles away, so can't call to see if they even have the equipment to drive down for.
Don't have time for these losers - guess I'll have to buy one of these power supplies on my own.

I signed up for phone deal they have one line pay 29.99 and second line free for 12 month but they don't even deliver their promises. I have spoke with almost 8 customers service representative and still can't fix the problem. Don't recommend them at all.
We have had spectrum for almost 2 years. When signed up it was supposed to be 60$ but the time they where done with extra charges it was over 100$ the next year went up a little but nothing changed NOW OMG WE HAVE TO HUNT ANOTHER WAY TOOK DEMAND SHRUNK DOWN THE SIZE OF CERTAIN CHANNELS MADE SOME PAID STATIONS NOW AND NOW WANTS TO LITERALLY DOUBLE THE BILL TAKE TAKE WANT WANT TOO MUCH WE'RE DONE WITH THEM
One of the representatives were so rude to me that it made me cancel. Tired of the horrible customer service. Everything down from split lines that multiple times the lazy workers "didn't see an issue". The next internet service i got replaced it and found the split. I had somebody out 3 times\ with charter. Next thing is, they said i did not return the equipment when i did and that was why i was still being charged afer cancelation. Still got a bill, and it got sent to a debt agency. Contacted charter again. Next lady said it was for an unpaid bill. I paid every bill prior to cancelation and they still charged me for the month after i canceled. They are deceitful and you cant trust them. ANOTHERT THING... they made me upgrade a router myself, i couldn't do it. The representative wouldn't send anybody out to help me. Then threatened she would charge me for the help... when i'm already paying them A LOT for their services. Another thing that happened was that my internet went out 2 different days, i lost my job because of it. They refunded all my neighbors for the outages, but refused to do the same for me, and said i still had to pay for the days of the outages. THEY'RE HORRIBLE DONT GET THEM EVERYTHIKNG ABOUT THEM IS BAD BAD BAD.
Finally after my 6th complaint to the FCC spectrum reached out to me. Yesterday I was told by a lady that she put me in for credit on the 4 outages. I was told back when they happened in March I would get it. The man never put it in. Today I get a call about the hangup calls. She tried once again to say there machine thought it was my answering machine. I told her my answering machine is only on when I go to work. Back in February I received a response from spectrum lawyer about my first complaint. He said absolutely nothing about the hangup calls. I wrote him back and of course he can't respond.I was told by a supervisor a month ago she would remove channels to lower my bill. The channels are still here and my bill keeps going up. Spectrum CEO doesn't even care enough about his customers to find out what is going on. He only listens to his people
We cancelled our service. When we did they made us go though this long speech about their great deals. We keep telling her we were not interested but she said she could not cancel our service until she gave us this speech. She also lied about what she was going to do. She said that she would take off the charges for that month because it was only a few days into the month. Well guess what we got a bill. I called and she said she would take care of it. We got another bill the next month "overdue " I called again. This time the lady was nasty. I finally said ok I will pay it. The next day a bill collected was calling. Rotten service and associates. We switched because our service was bad. We stream tv and it kept getting interrupted. TDS is do much better.
Spectrum is a scam make sure guys don't go auto pay like me and check your payment every time I did not know or notice I was paying two Internet and now called them 3 times they just keep passing me around talk to three people they made me cancel the service so they can back date me and now I just talk to the other girl saying that I should've cancel the service so she can reimburse me and see my accounts and now can't even get any reimbursement I was paying 79.99 for an Internet that I'm not even using for almost a year so make sure check your payment or you'll end up like me and their mobile phone service is sucks super slow I wouldn't even recommend it
I threatened to cancel and they gave me a lower price. Turns an out they never documented or gave me that lower price. I called and argued and they said they don't have no lower price documented.I contacted Better Business Bureau and right away Spectrum contacted me and adjusted my bill by $20 but took away Showtime and HBO. They even said the price was going to be lower than the $20 someone else had quoted.I called them back and nobody answered. Left Messages daily for a week and nobody got back to me. I called corporate and some supervisor was going to help me. I explained everything to this person and she said she couldn't do anything about. She would put those services back that were dropped but I would be charged. They had never said they were going to drop the service in order to lower the price. They are play games with customers and lying. Sounds like they are training customer service to lie so customers will give up fighting with them. I am so disappointed and discussed With Spectrum as they are playing games all the time. I will keep leaving negative feedback for all the lies and promises they have made.
We were without spectrum Internet for two full days. They told me they would expedite a service order, but then called back to say there was an area outage. There was no area outage, as I checked with my neighbors, who also have spectrum and none of them had issues. Trying to cancel their service is a whole other set of frustration. I was finally able to cancel after an hour on the phone, and we have switched to a new Internet provider who was $45 cheaper and 25% faster
Just in the past 2 weeks, Spectrum internet service went down 5 times. Each time the outage lasted about 3 to 17 hours! They have a book of excuses to why they keep going down. It's the crappiest company we've ever dealt with. And we are switching to other ISP even if it costs a little more!
Goes out at least ONCE every day. It often causes me to lose my hard work for school and ends up getting me in trouble being unable to turn $#*! in on time. Worst $#*!ing WiFi I've ever used. Actual $#*!. Don't get spectrum WiFi.
Charter Spectrum has recently acquired my old service provider, and I couldn't be happier. For the longest time, my area was stuck on a 50 MB/s internet speed, which was alright, but once you have 4 people with all their devices in their rooms, it slows down, and do not get me started on steam downloads. However, once I received the letter in the mail about the buyout, I was ecstatic to learn that Charter Spectrum was offering up to 1 gigabit internet speeds.
The process of upgrading to the new service was seamless. A representative came to my house to replace my old modem with a new one, and it took no time at all to get it up and running. I was immediately impressed by the speed and reliability of my new internet connection. In fact, I have been live streaming my favorite video game, Destiny 2, at 1080p60fps to YouTube with zero issues. This is a significant improvement over my old 50 MB/s internet, where even 720p30fps was not possible for live streaming.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with Charter Spectrum's internet service. The upgrade process was quick and easy, and the internet speeds have exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Charter Spectrum to anyone looking for reliable, high-speed internet.

BILLING ISSUES HAVE LASTED OVER MONTHS, CALLED AND SPOKE TO AT LEAST 20 REPRESENTATIVES, VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!
We were having wifi issues, spectrum sent out someone to work on the issue, they solved the technical issue and within 48 hours the same problem came back. There is no reason you should have to unplug then plug your system back up every 48 hours to have wifi connectivity.
This is got to be the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. Are use them for a total of three years. I did move to different apartments in the apartment complex. I would pay my bill in full before I move to the other. Let's just say their bookkeeping is not very good because even three years later I get random calls from collection agencies even though my spectrum app shows a zero balance and I have receipts showing paid in full. Their business tactic for collecting are also horrible. You know yell and scream at a 58-year-old man and threaten them. Especially from somebody that's trying to work something out. But they push me to the point that I'll never use them again and I advise you not to use them also.
Not only are their prices too high, which is what made me switch to frontier fiber optic, and YouTube TV stream for $120 less a month, but when I canceled on the 10th of the month, (my billing cycle ended on the 7th) they force you to pay the full month, even though I didn't get the value or the service. When I returned my equipment and I spoke to the gentleman in the store, he said I would be charged for about three or four days which was acceptable, but not the case. They want a full month if you cancel after your billing cycle date started. Unbelievable I have never seen any phone company, cable company, utility of any sort be a monthly subscription with service not pro rated. What a joke that's why they're losing customers keep on streaming! RIP OFF!
My new dvr can only record 2 shows at a time and I can watch real time shows when it is recording. My previous box recorded over 3 shows at a time and real time viewing was not interrupted. Technology is increasing yet spectrum is moving in reverse as the price of cable is full speed ahead. I wish I did not have to use them but I have no other options in my area. I wish I could choose zero stars as a rating but I have to put one.
I went to 3 store this evening when my cell phone wouldn't work and their tech specialists couldn't fix it over phone. They instructed me to go to local store, before going I asked them what time do they close, he said 8 pm. I arrived at store at 6:01 pm and store was closed. I did get a rep inside to speak with me and he said due to staffing issues they no longer stay open until 8 pm even though I was told by tech they were. When we asked where I could go to get new sim card, he directed me to store 10 miles away and said they were open until 8 pm. I drove there only to find they also were closed with note on door indicating due to staffing issues! Seriously? They can't get techs at local stores to help and when my phone isn't working, I can't get emails. This is a sad company with terrible service. I may pay more elsewhere, but at least I will get service.
There is a spectrum utility box in front of my church it is severely damage. I have reach out to spectrum on multiple occasion, I have let numerous messages no one will return a phone call. I'm sure if I was trying to start a new service I would get a call back. I haven't had spectrum in years and after this experience I would not have them nor recommend them to anyone. I'm sure that box will stay as is until some child gets hurt.
If you are looking for internet that never works, Id sign up for this immediatley. It then takes up to 3 days to get someone out to you. But dont worry!, they offer $1.5 a day refund. Complete joke of a company.
