Spectrum offers horrible internet service that went down daily. Their prices keep going up and up, even though their internet is constantly dropping. If you quit using their service, watch out. They will try to claim you didn't return their equipment, so keep records. And they will charge you for a whole month, no matter when you deactivate your account, even if you only used a single day's worth of service, you will have to pay the whole super high monthly fee.
Been with Spectrum for years... 10+, even when it was adelphia, to road runner and now spectrum. Ended up getting T-Mobile 5G internet and its $30 cheaper than spectrum. I was paying $64.95/mo for 150MBPS internet, then it became 69.95, and then 74.95 and as of December 2022, went to 79.99. I also did a speed test and I was only getting 28mbps down and 11 up. Fed up I got TMobile. 154 down, 22 up. When I cancelled spectrum after testing out tmobile for a week... they did everything they could to get me to stay... even 39.99/mo for 300MBPS... then when I said no. She was tossing in free phone for a year. Like no. WHERE WAS THAT DEAL WHEN I WAS A CUSTOMER? 39.99/mo for "double" the speed...? Paying $80/mo for horrendous service. Not to mention. The outages are common... usually 1-2x a mo we loose service for a few hours for whatever reason... Its just horrible. There are other options out there... ditch cable...
Don't trust Spectrum all the time they paly in the prices the charge for services you never use it and never and they can add you service with out letting you,,, you call customer service to set up the price later you charge with out letting you know. I lose a lot of money and i am going to looking for another supplier.

I join the spectrum internet just 4 month ago among 4 month I had internet outage more than 100 times, most of time 3-4 days no internet I don't what kind of poor quality device they used, I have not other option in my area if I got other option I never used spectrum. Spectrum is one of biggest scam.
Worst service ever honestly I'm so disappointed with it! And it's too late whatever you do do not get the phone service! Fake unlimited service it slows down after a while. They only let you add insurance after 15 days after buying the phone
Spectrum got me on a wild goose chance to replace a phone I paid full price for to move to using their service. I broke tried to buy a new on but because of scammers scamming them succesfully I have to be treated like one and actual customer to keep it from happening. I drove over an hour from them to turn me away. I was on several calls and had it shipped to my service address that is in another state to have a neighbor pick it they turned him away. THE PLOT TWIST is they never told me the following: You can have a new paper ID we have to scan it, but you can have an authorized user. SO all I had to do after 2 weeks of hell is to add my neighboor but guess what I am over it. They wont get my business. This is EMBARRASSING!
I have a rental unit they service that has a tenant. So I can't be there until they move until next month.
Received an apple device from Spectrum right after I signed up, returned it cause I don't need it and now I am being charged $185.00 for it. I am being told it was never received yet 2 different people said they did receive it.
Make sure you keep immaculate records for anything and everything to do with Spectrum so they cannot dodge giving a refund when one is due. The streaming is great, but customer service is impossible and you get a different answer from everyone you speak to.
Just keep real good records of EVERYTHING so they cannot deny a refund. Will be going to the UPS store to try and get a tracking number. Hopefully they have complete records.
Terrible company, terrible and deceiving business practices. I could write a book on the bad experiences I have had, but to keep this short will highlight three major issues. 1) Service, both cable and internet, is intermittent. Spectrum knows this but does not care. 2) Agents (some) are often snippy and know they can be without risk to their jobs (the 'beauty' of being part of a monopoly). They are also very unhelpful and simply give canned responses which they repeat over and over. 3) Pay very close attention to your billing period, and do not cancel until, at most, a couple of days prior to the end of said period, as Spectrum does not, and will refuse to, pro-rate your bill. Also, keep your receipt when you return your equipment, and make absolute sure the equipment is scanned in and that it is recorded on your receipt! There are many other things I can say, but simply put, this is the result of a company having a monopoly on a product (which at this point is essentially a public utility), they feel free to abuse their customers. If you have ANY other option, I advise you to investigate it and avoid Spectrum if at all possible!
Its good i sopose or i think but it is good i think alot and thanks alot spectroom for your passwords and your intrnet and srvece dont change anyting but make your interne stronger and faster and the wier make it bigger if you do that wold make me so happy
Spectrum charged me for a full month after cancelling service. I only used 5 days & paid for 5 days, but they turned me into collection. ALSO a spectrum employee went to the house after I left & stole a $200 router I had left for the new owner. Spectrum has yet to find the router OR credit me for it, instead they've turned me into collection for not paying the portion of the bill when I no longer had their service!
Recently had spectrum and switched service because they weren't affordable for a very long time, the moment I switched they decide to offer me a lower price. To make things worse customer service said they would let me try out the new service and put my account on hold free of charge. Only to find out I was being charged again ( its clear that these companies have employee who don't know what to do and they say whatever to get more money out of you). I will never go with spectrum again, I suggest go with tmobile. It has been reliable for me and they charge you half not for just 1 year, For lifetime

Spectrum admitted I shouldn't have been charged an additional $25 fee, but since I hadn't noticed it for over 90 days, and continued to pay my regular amount, they could not remove the $25 fee, but could remove 1, $8 late fee associated with that fake $25 fee. I can't wait for Frontier to be in my neighborhood, so I can be done with Spectrum, who is not only a scamming company, fleecing their customers with fraudulent fees, but they also have the WORST customer service I have ever experiences.
I signed up for the cable/internet promotion for $49.99/each. With fees and taxes the bill was around $120 a month, as expected. I was informed that the bill would not go up any more than $20 annually, after the promotion ended, which was for one year. Approximately 8 months later my bill went up $30, the reason being due to my promotion being over. Yesterday I got a letter that my promotion had ended and my bill would now be $30 more a month, excluding taxes and fees. In a little over a year my bill has increased a minimum of $60 per month. This review is for potential customers, as no one from Spectrum or Charter will bother to reply. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SPECTRUM, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO CONSIDER ALL OTHER OPTIONS AND COSTS.
We called to have our modem/router moved to a different room. The tech was supposed to let us know when he was coming and he didn't. When he did show up, he was in a regular white truck with a crooked spectrum sign on it. He didn't introduce himself. He walked in to my house without booties on his shoes and then proceeded to move my furniture without asking. He did a good job on the install. That's the only thing good I can say about the tech. Usually when we have a tech come out, they are in a company van and are more professional.
Spectrum internet is the devil! I've been without internet for days now and someone was supposed to have been out to my house to fix the problem April 26th. The technician never showed up and quite possibly went to the wrong house. I took off from work so that I could be at home all day and no one ever showed up never knocked on the door or called my phone. I called spectrum and they told me that the earliest date they could come and fix my internet would be May 2nd. That is too far off and they should have made me top priority being that it was their mess up. Spectrum internet does not give a crap about its customers it shows in the way that they treat them. Their prices are way too high and their internet is always down. I am tired of dealing with their crap I am going to go to AT&T for my internet services from now on.
Spectrum's 2999 is bowl the only way you get 2999 is if you have your computer and TV hook backup so. It's not 2999. I had to disconnect mine because my wife died and I moved. And now they're disconnecting my phone. I give him A000 rating.
Been a customer since 2018. $49.99 guaranteed price after asking twice this is the price fast forward one year 69.00 then 8.5 months later 80.00 when asking for info on the constant increases, lame excuses like a lying wife... Never a clear reason or some seat of the pants scripted excuse on how to brush the customer from full phone melt down. Then this year double dipped me claiming I missed a month payment for the sum of 179.00. Enough was enough we can wave the late fee was their parting comment. Terrible service down a lot constant outages inconsistent download speeds throttling, and general f+curry in the billing. This was just for internet to watch sling TV mind you. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FOLKS ON FIXED INCOME.
You get hit with bills almost doubled after a promo ends. The price goes up without any notice. You are offered these amazing deals with bells and whistles but then come to find out, they jus downgraded your service without telling you until you try to watch showtime or a family channel you once had. They have zero respect regarding the lies their agents tell to keep their services. Management had no problem telling you that YOU'RE THE PROBLEM, and continue to not assist with the actual problems. They have zero flexibility and no interest in helping users when they need it.
