I canceled spectrum internet and they are still billing me. The idiot person we spoke to on phone was so dumb.Where are they finding these idiots.

Their system of signing in to return a cable box is ridiculous. The technician who installs the new service should be able to take the old box and give you a receipt. What a waste of time. They need a better system.
The title says it. Our internet and cable have problems all the time. I get texts every week about outages and that they are working on it. The bills aren't consistent, they just get consistently larger. It takes hours to get them to remove extra charges that shouldn't have been there. When you call in, be prepared to get transferred around to a number of people who can't help.
We have had so many issues with this company it's nauseating! Now they have turned off our service because someone called and tried to get their service at OUR home! We aren't late on payments and they still cancelled us via their management!

Problem all began with a phone call they say they needed to correct my address and it has been a nightmare ever since they say I have four accounts they are billing me outrageously I pay my bills! Now they have reported me to the credit bureau it is obvious that it is their mistake now I'm getting someone else's Bill my address their name they refuse to do anything about it I have called 20 to 30 times they have too much power just because they say I owe them doesn't mean I do!
They tell you they are sending someone out for no charge and then require a payment or threaten service shut down.
Spectrum is a bunch of crap. Every other day my wifi goes out. Spectrum system is always down. I pay too much money every month to receive poor service like this. DONT DEAL WITH THEM AT ALL!
I have to restart the modem daily, slow service, it is very frustrating, I regret using Spectrum.

Saleswoman was nice, told her I needed a cable line ran to the house to utilize the service. I was told there would be a option during install to set that up. Got the self-start package in the mail and began install process. Tried to reach a point to request cable install. Website directed to phone app, phone app directed to automated phone service, service back to website. Attempted install process three times. Decided to stick with current provider and returned new equipment to local rep. Spectrum begins to bill me for the first month. Then sends the bill to collections. I tell the collections rep I will not pay this debt as it was a failed installation, no services were rendered, no services were utilized. Still getting mail from collections rep. Guess I will need to explain this to the judge if it goes to legal action.

Cable goes out I have to wait three days for them to fix a weak signal problem. They fix problems when it's convenient for them. Extremely poor customer service. Customer see does not exist with spectrum. They simply do not care about their customers.
After 6 hours of web work, and numerous calls to "customer service" it became obvious that Spectrum is actively trying to make purchase of their phones impossible.
My internet has been going in and out all day. Automated system says it's their TV app. It's their internet. Called twice and while talking to a representative I either get disconnected or hung up on. They have my number but chose not to call me back. Extremely irritated but Charter/Spectrum don't care. Looking for alternatives.
I have cable, internet and home phone with Spectrum. I couldn't be unhappier with them. I am losing services every other day. Their equipment is outdated. I don't recommend at all
I have internet outages approximately once every two weeks for about 5 hours. About three months ago, I had an outage for two days. As I am in medical school, this disrupts my study schedule. When I called customer service, they said they refunded me for the one day without service (which is probably like 1 dollar). Gee, thanks for that... I have consistently used all my data for the month during these outages. I finally got so fed up with it the service outages that I switched providers and asked to be refunded for the weeks of service that I did not use. They don't even have the decency to do that. They clearly do not care at all about providing their customers with "reliable" service or ensuring customer satisfaction.
Set up to have Spectrum installed at my house all my neighbors and either side have Spectrum the pole is right and the corner of my lot the guys that come out are very unprofessional and trying to discourage you from getting the service unless it's a very easy job that'll take him a short period of time refuse to put the cable in because it would take longer time setting up was a total waste of my time I told the people to call me before they come to my Gates so I can let them in his supervisor called wanting to know why I wasn't there I said I was there and he never called so we called him back and then he showed up this company is the worst AT&T and Verizon and other companies are much better
Worst internet career for ever, they don't care about customer service, I switched from AT&T and very disappointed!

Answer: They do not care about customer retention. That being said. I have to believe it is the poorest business model I have ever come in contact with.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
