I ordered a futon which took three weeks to come in! When it got to my home there was no back or legs at all! I then called sofa mania to let them know of the lack of parts essential for use! They then directed me to email them a picture of the futon without the legs! So I immediately sent the image! That was a week ago. I send several emails about how I needed to know if another one was being sent or what was happening. Since I have not gotten a reaponse at all and when I call them o get no answer. I have contact the Better business bureau. They have launched an investigation into this overseas company and from what they told me I am not the first person with these issues. This company is a con. We must stop doing business with these companies overseas. They rip us off then ignore us. I made a plea to my bank and they are going to reverse my payment and make the company repay it to them now
I purchased an on sale sofa chair which just means it is slightly wider than a normal seat. This chair was grey and modern with an ottoman foot storage included. Worst experience purchasing I've ever had. I'm giving the company a 1 star rating because at least they did deliver it. Firstly, one of the legs was bug infested and sawdust was everywhere. Since it was only one leg I let it go and asked for a leg replacement. Which after some talking and pictures to prove damage they sent me another set of legs. Which took another week and a half to get. After receiving since my company had already arrived and didn't need chair we were slow to assemble the chair! BIG MISTAKE! Again more issues, secondly, one cushion wasn't filled in properly so it's an empty corner and thirdly, two of the leg screws where you attach the chair legs were screwed and drilled incorrectly. Making it impossible to attach the legs. After contacting company they have refused to help due to the past 30 day delivery. My husband is going to have to experiment and drill where the leg holes should go and we need to pray it works! Otherwise I'll be buying new feet to attach to bottom. This company is a scam! DON'T PURCHASE from them. They do not have quality furniture at reasonable prices. I've bought better quality furniture at WALMART!

I ordered a swivel/ rocker and read all the reviews and was waiting for an issue. I have no issues with my chair and just have to say to SAVE YOUR BOX for any issues that arrive. Without your shipping container is almost impossible to return. My chair does take done effort to get the recliner down but so did the one I replaced. Good price.

I see all the terrible reviews. I placed my order on the 3rd of the month i was told a week ago i would have confirmation. Fast forward 10 days later nothing so i guess I'll do what everyone else and file a complaint and get my money back this is ridiculous... i've learned my lesson no more online furniture shopping...

I ordered two Kandy Victorian- Style Chesterfield Velvet Double Sofas from Sofamania.com in the color beige however one half of my order was shipped in the incorrect color light grey. I contacted sofamania.com customer service and after I sent them a few photos of the incorrect product received, they promptly resolved my issue by having the correct sofa color shipped to my home within a couple of days. Thank you sofamania.com team for making this correction as seamless as possible; I will continue to be a return customer ;)

I am a 62 yr old women forced into retirement for health issues.
My sons wanted to buy me a new, smaller recliner for my bedroom. So I shopped around and found Sofamania. I checked the reviews on the website and they were basically all good reviews. I saw no red flags.
I ordered the chair and immediately noticed problems. The chair was fanning out at the arm and the chair at full recline was shorter than my legs and I am only 5 ft 5! I thought these things weren't that bad and the chair was comfortable even though it did not fit the space as well I'd hoped.
About a week in, the chair started bowing at the bottom, where the sides fanning out out made the bottom of the chair bow inward and I could no longer get the chair to close. That is when I noticed that the bottom inside leg had been torn to shreds from closing the chair. Now I had to leave the chair in full recline all the time, creating serious problems with the space management in my bedroom.
I was not happy. I called customer service for several days, left messages no response. I went on the website and found the return policy. The chair could only be returned in the original box! The box had been disposed of weeks ago! I kept calling customer service and finally got a real person on the line. I was told there was nothing to be done without the original box. So I was stuck with this defective chair fanning out on the sides and bowing in on the bottom and the company seemed completely unconcerned with my unhappiness.
I am so disgusted with Sofamania that I want to warn consumers NOT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We bought this couch for our Air B&B. The first guests we had, two very small women, were sitting on the couch and it collapsed - the back leg just went wonky. My husband tried to fix it but the same thing happened again. He noticed that the wood of the frame that the leg was screwed into was very very cheap and thin. You get what you pay for and we learned our lesson.

I recieved my ottoman in a seperate package from my couch which should have been my first sign, no tools or anything came with it so I had to wait for the couch part to arrive. Finally the couch arrived and I put it all together, it is easy to put together but feels that way too. Pretty flimsy feeling and doesnt feel like itll last as long as most couches do. Not only that but I realized my couch and ottoman completely didnt even match each other. I figured it would be any easy thing to fix, right? So I sent them pics and was responded with apologies saying that they would be restocked within two weeks. So three weeks pass by, and I contact them again to ask what the holdup is and they say they actually dont know why they told me two weeks cause they have no idea when/if they will be restocked in that ottoman... okay...? Then he offers if I want to mail the ottoman back ON MY OWN DIME, then I will get a refund... like what? It was on my own dime that I bought it the first time and THEY didn't send me the right one. Also this couch is still on their website so either bs'ing about being out of that color or they do know when it's being restocked and just dont care enough about their customers to correct their wrong. Rant over. Take your money and patience to someone who cares about your service and go get you a decent couch!

If I could give it negative stars I would. Ciara and Nikki, both terrible people who didn't even try to help me. And upon me telling them I could leave them a bad review Nikki bluntly said "you go do whatever you wanna do". Geee thanks.

The sent me broken sofas 5 times. Had to wait for it for over a month. And now they won't replace the broken piece I have.
Garbage company. I ordered a two toned blue and gray sectional. Waited a week, and called customer service which was rude and non compensation of my order. The customer service rep hangs up on me. I called back and another rep told me that they don't have the color in stock. I asked for another color, and I. Was told FedEx will pick it up to be delivered. I demanded a refund and then sofamani turns around and still send the sectional. SCAM ARTISTS! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!
I ordered a couch and love seat. They WERE NOT the size advertised, but MUCH shorter. FedEx was the delivery carrier and once they were shipped I was not allowed to set a delivery time. Fex Ex said my only option was to pick up couches from their hub or have them delivered to my home which happened when no one was there AND they were left in the rain. Return was even worse. I had to repack them and again put them outside IN THE RAIN because a pickup was set for me and I had no option. Customer service was terrible and they seemed completely unconcerned with my issues or the return of their own product. On top of everything else the couches looked cheap when they arrived and nothing like the photos at Sofamania's site. Buyer beware.

They never sent my couch. Two weeks with out an update I called 3 times before I got an answer. They said my couch was damaged and they ran out of stock. At least they didnt send a broken couch. Dont waste your time.

Do not order from this site! They are complete scammers. I purchased a sectional which arrived in a completely different color from online photos & scratches and dents everywhere. Yes, I learned my lesson for purchasing such an inexpensive sectional but they refused to provide any form of compensation for their damaged and defective product. I was forced to sell it on Craigslist and buy one elsewhere for 3x the price. Avoid them at all costs.

I bought a recliner from Sofamania and the footrest will not go down without getting out of the chair and manually pushing it very hard to close it. It is also crooked. One side sits lower. When I asked about a refund, they want the orginial box (which was trashed and falling apart when we received it) and then a 20% restocking fee! This chair can not be restocked! I will order from Wayfair from now on! My refund from them was no problem at all!

I was skeptical due to some of the other reviews that I read but the couch we got was a steal and was delivered safe and sound in TWO DAYS. Very impressed. Couch was well made, beautiful appearance, easy to assemble and delivered so quickly. It was a little smaller than I realized it would be but to be honest I never looked at the measurements!

Still never received my furniture! Since November and it's about to be February. Chat with the company several times via email! Sends me a refund because it wasn't in stock but still sends me half my order. Once I reached out and explained they shipped me half the order they told me I have to send payment to receive the second half. I pay again and still no furniture. Like seriously just be truthful about your stock instead of taking people hard earned money to make a fake sale and never give them their items. The worse ever
