Paid to get details on info I found on bloody Google search... didn't even get the info I found on fkng Google, then asked to pay more to get FREE info & told only way to cancel is to CALL USA (14-15hr dif)... all just to try n search my own (very rare) name, trying to find who's using my identity so I can prove it's not me!

Social Catfish promised the best facial recognition search to identify the person in the picture. Its first page spends a lot of time with bogus scanning of the photograph and different databases (which could have been searched in nanoseconds) leading you on to believe it's performing a comprehensive search. Then it wants money to show you the results. Promises for a small fee, you get this report and five days of unlimited searches. But when you pay the money, all it does is show you some possible similar images and then wants you to pay additional fees for each little bit of additional information -- name, email, address, social sites, etc. I searched a mid-twenties young white mail. Some of the "similar" pictures shown to me were partial faces, older men, and even a black male. For all I know, the quality of the additional information items for sale is just as worthless as the reverse image search. I got better results with a free Google Images reverse search.

I've been talking to a guy for a couple of months so I used there website I saw it on TikTok. Should of known better. I had used a photo of myself and the guy that I'm talking too. Social catfish both said we had 43 matches. 43 matches of my picture where not one looked like me, and 43 of him which none looked like him. Don't waste your money!

Being catfished & Military Romance Scammed was a new experience for me. I gained a wealth of knowledge from watching the YouTube show ScamFish, presented by Social Catfish. Before I discovered Social Catfish, I Google Image searched a few of the photos I was sent by my cat fisher and did not find any images of the person I was searching for; I got only similar images of celebrities and other men with similar haircuts, clothing, or posture, etc. After finding out about the tools offered by Social Catfish, I decided to try my search there. I was pleased that there was an option for a low fee, for 5 days of use, as opposed to just paying a higher fee, for an entire month. The very first image search I did on Social Catfish, yielded 42 image results, that were in fact the exact person I was searching for. Among the results, were five exact images I had in my possession; three of which I was sent by my cat fisher and two that I saved from his FAKE Facebook Profile. Through this image search on Social Catfish, I gained valuable information, that lead me to the identity of the person I was searching for.

Within the five-day subscription period, the image searches were unlimited, and results were saved in my dashboard, so I could go back and look through them at any time. I also used and was pleased with the 'Unlimited Social Search' tool. I must also mention that I received an unexpected follow up call from Social Catfish and I was extremely pleased about that. I had submitted my story a few weeks prior, but I decided not to pursue it further, because I was not willing to tell my story in front of the world. The follow up call was truly appreciated. I certainly recommend the search tools on Social Catfish, as well as watching the YouTube show 'ScamFish/Catfished', for education/awareness.

Paid the initial trial fee which should have unlocked all of the search options like criminal, businesses, etc and it unlocks nothing. Already being hit up for more money. I am going to ask for my money back, there are other much much better sites out there like Truth Finder that opens all of their resources to you. NOW I know what the videos on youtube are all about, a lead in to this underperforming search engine that doesn't work unless you shell out loads for ever tier of searches. No thanks!

The website itself is a scam, i paid for subscription but i couldn't have access to any service in the website, when i contacted them to check tgey said that they cannot find my credentials despite they debited money two times! The emails i receive from customer service are repetitive and asking same questions everytime and rewinding! Total scam, i don't know how to get my money back or how to stop them from debiting money from my account!

This company is a scam because results are similar to a web search engine like google, bing, Yandex, Yahoo, which does not have great results and customers servicers are just wanted your money and the supervisor does not have any patient for taking a breath. I advise strongly stay away from this company. Only you get scams and waste money while searching on google for free tools you get the same results. And do not even to be a cruise with this company. Stay away from this company or like waste your money trying them.

It was an amazing, eye opening experience. The knowledge that they possess to obtain information when everyone else had failed is exceptional. The whole telling my story was handled so professionally and with kindness. I won't be online dating EVER again. Social Catfish's is hands down fabulous to work with.

This is a predatory site - it will reel you in - you will have to pay separately for every service you have - reverse facial recognition (which wasn't even close to the one I sent in) - if you want any other informatio - telephone number, social media - you will pay separately for each one! Additionally it signed me up for automatic payments when I had a one time payment arranged. It was cancelled. Avoid avoid avoid!

Lonnie and Drew were my heros. They helped me mend my broken heart and found the real man I feel in love with. It was a surprise I will never forget and a happy ending to a love story gone bad. Thank you Social catfish for helping me move on. Love you both.

I met and got involved with two scammers from an on-line dating site. The first one I was able to find the pictures he used and I was able to remove myself from that relationship. The second and most recent one I wasn't able to find anything about his true identity. Thanks to the representative at Social Catfish they were able to find the actual owner of the pictures he was using and investigate other things about him. Their service was quick and efficient and I won't hesitate to use them again if I find myself in a similar situation. I can't thank them enough.

Do not waste your time and money, they never get anything right and no matter what type of subscription you pay for, its never enough, they always hit you up for more money to see no additional information that they claim to have.

Do not believe any of the positive reviews you read, I I guarantee you they are written by employees or people who are hired to say good things about this ripoff company.

I've used social catfish off and on over the years. It is a great tool, especially when you are dating online. They seem to have an accurate search feature that will show you if the image you have is used anywhere else online. The online dating scene can be a little daunting, but this helps for sure!

A totally useless site, save your money! I did a background check on MYSELF, a friend, and then the person I was interested in doing a background check on. All the information I received was basically; known phone numbers and possible addresses, nothing else! NO other information or pictures, even though all 3 of us had been on dating sites for over a year? I could have found the same information by using my telephone directory online.

Social catfish, for those not familiar with them, is a service that provides a forum for people who suspect that their online love interest may be a fraud or scammer. They offer an array of junior gumshoe services online and even a Senior gumshoe or investigator in the flesh. The problem here is when you go to use one of their services that they offer up never provides pricing until the end of you submission for the search. The preliminary search hypes the findings as postive, once you get on the hook that the catfish has cast, make the payment the information comes back possible or could be or similar image... WAIT... WHAT?!. AND you pay a fee for every different search you choose. Whether it be reverse image, emails, phones, address... etc. Do not fall for the low introductry pricing because anywhere from 7 - 14 days your card will be charged again for a substantial monthly fee. Getting them to cancel your subscription and getting a full refund can prove to be difficult. So maybe you'd be better off hiring old gumshoe with a nose like a blood hound than getting hoodwinked by these guys or even better use the more available option, follow your 'Spidey senses'.
