I'm using SmileBox for far more than I thought I would.

I exceeded the deadline to cancel my trial membership and initially was disappointed but after using it again I've decided it's worth the cost and far more interesting than an email. The response I got was on email telling me I exceeded the timeline (my fault) but I was welcome to use the service I'd been charge for. I hope I don't experience what Jason H did.

What is smilebox and how did it appear on my PC. I have no intention of paying anyone for something I did not order and do not know what it is. So far I rate it zero (0) stars and would like an explanation from the purveyors, whoever they may be. It is a bit cheeky to stick something on to a PC without their prior knowledge or permission.

Very easy to use My sister was able to be seen as the person she is and not the person people assumed her to be.

I love you little sister. I played my own music. 3 of our families songs that described us as a true Family.

I used SMILEBOX to make the picture video for my Mother's Memorial Service. It was easy to put together and to make multiple copies. Thank you SmileBox. I will cherish this DVD for the rest of my days.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial for Smilebox to create a slideshow for Mothers day. I was not pleased with the functionality of the program, so I requested that they cancel my free trail. I contacted them on the 6th day of the free trail to cancel, in order to avoid having to pay the yearly fee of $47.88 The customer service individual then responded to me the next day (day 7; the day the free trial expired) and sent me confusing and convoluted instructions on how to cancel my subscription that did not allow me to actually cancel my subscription. I responded (4) times to the customer service individual telling him his instructions did not work and that he needed to either cancel the subscription on his end or call me to walk me through the process. I never received a response until days after they charged me for the yearly fee. Not only did Smilebox refuse to acknowledge my request to cancel my subscription to avoid having to pay the $47.88 yearly fee, they blatantly provided confusing instructions to ensure that my subscription did not get canceled during the free trail timeline so that they could charge me the yearly fee. They ended up crediting my account days down the road, but they are obviously using unethical tactics to make it very hard for people to cancel their free trials so they can charge the yearly fee of $47.88.
