If you are reading this then there is not much point in this review as you unless you are new already know how valuable a tool sitejabber is.
If you are new, the internet is a dark and scary place filled with its share of good and bad businesses, however the cloak of the internet allows for more bad unfortunately. I have been using it heavily as an IT professional for 17 years my first email address I got in 1999, back when the consensus was that the internet should and would never be used for commerce. That did not work out so well, you may have noticed ;).
Before I do any business transaction I check sitejabber. It is a great community of people sharing their experiences with thousands of sites.
They have saved me definitely and you probably a lot of money have avoided a lot of stress due to this site, on the few occasion that I have gone against what i have read here I have paid for it.
I hope the continue to grow and if you are reading this and you have reviewed then I want to thank you also for your contribution. I will give you personally 5 Stars to do with what you will, in one of my reviews I gave myself 3 stars because I am not always right, lots of grammar and spelling errors, I could do better... I know. Thanks and 5 stars to the good people of Sitejabber.com you are valued and appreciated.

Really sitejabber?

REVIEWERS ON THIS WEBSITE! Be aware that your reviews will be forwarded to the companies if they are negative. You too could be harassed into deleting your review too.

And really, what recourse do consumers have other than negative reviews when a company won't refund after THEY cancelled the account?

When looking over the reviews of everbuying.net you give the everbuying website a 4 star rating. Based on that high rating I ordered $50 worth of products and 6 weeks later I got one cheap product that was under $10 that was nothing like the description andn $40 worth of excuses. So I came back here and left a negative review and after leaving the review I decided to look at the 5 star reviews and just about everyone looks like its been run through a chinese english translator.

Why do you allow these shill accounts to destroy your reputation as an unbiased source. This will be the last time I check this site for reviews if they can't stop ripoff companies from posting inflated reviews in broken English, and probably from everbuying's IP addess.

If you don't believe it go to everbuying reviews and read the 5 star reviews.

I'll check back in a couple months and see if you've figured out how to run a review website and maybe use your site again.

Chad, thank you for your review and feedback. Shill reviews are an ongoing challenge for us and all review sites, but we are always working on getting better at removing them. We do run sophisticated software that identifies and removes hundreds of fake reviews every day, however, some do slip through the cracks. We rely on the community to catch the rest and report fake reviews, so if you see any please do flag them and our team will take a look. Also, when reading reviews we recommend you always carefully read the negative reviews (regardless of how many positive reviews there are) to get a sense of what could happen in a worst case type scenario. Thank you for your contributions and we do hope you'll work with us as we continually improve the site.

Great idea but...

It's a great thing to have a place on the web where you can go and see real reviews of real people and read about their experience. I feel like some people are abusing the system though.

I wrote a complaint about freelancer.com since I did not receive even a response from them for a month. But, happy to mention that after posting a complaint on sitejabber.com, I received my refund (though not to my credit card), within 2 days! Amazing effect!

SiteJabber is AMAZING and much better than other review sites like TrustPilot. Many users have good intention helping others but the main problem is the lack of dispassion. Hey guys, there has got to be more than 1star and 5star reviews. People either complain or they praise. I have hardly read any great review which evaluates the whole product from all perspectives.

Anyway, SiteJabber is still AMAZING!

Great site but still needs some work. I find it awesome to be able to search for reviews on businesses; good or bad to let me know before I make a business decision what I am up against and that you include yourself in the reviews as well.
The main reason I didn't rate it a 5 star rating, is because like so many other businesses lately, you have provided no option for me to remove myself from this site. I understand why you have to establish an account at the beginning, to ensure that the review given is a legitimate one and not just from someone trying to get even with a business. I've had written my review some time last year I believe, so I believe that the company had enough time to respond back if they had wanted to and I should be able to close my account.

I enjoyed looking through your site. I found it very informative and you give many important information about many different companies. I love SiteJabber! Whenever I look into buying online, I like to look at reviews, but sometimes the reviews are just not helpful. This website allows me to write reviews about websites that I have used including the information I would like to see if I were to look at the review.

This website seems to bury the good reviews and put the negative reviews first... That's a biased review website... how can it be helpful if it only puts the negative reviews first? It's just backwards... It should have negative and positive reviews mixed together!

You are here! Seeing how there are complete scams, like Mywot, out there, this site is a refreshing alternative to destroying your website's reputation. The reviews here are great as each one carries the same weight no matter what reviewer 'level' you are.

Somebody named "Sara" created an acct using my email id. And SiteJabber did not verify it. Silly practice. Also when asked to reset password, it is sent by email. How insecure.
