As a frequent flyer and part of the Million Miler club on a couple different carriers I had never used a travel agent, in 25 years. With the cost of tickets I utilized SkyLux as they were recommended by a friend. I had them price out two separate trips. The first was competitive with a ticket I had on hold on an airline I frequently fly to Asia. The cost difference was not significant enough for me to fly on an airline that I couldn't accrue miles/status on. The second ticket, was 50% less than I could find through my standard channels. Maverick, was very patient with me as I'm a bit of a princess when it comes to traveling, especially with my wife. That said, the experience, so far, has been seamless. And it's taken care of.
