There is always an issue with skip…the last driver took off with our food & we never got our order, the one before that left us the wrong order (someone else's food)…the one before that delivered our food to the wrong townhouse. I'm done with them. Deleted the app.
I placed an order from SkipTheDishes and the order was not delivered. On raising the refund request, they denied refund. Additionally the chat functionality never ever works. Please DELETE THE APP from your phones.
Useless, can't even issue a proper refund when an order is messed up really $#*!ty service. I do not recommend them at all always problems.
We ordered a meal yesterday and the wrong order arrived. I reached our to Skip the Dishes and they sent me a spiel about their unavcountability. Why use this app if they hold themselves accountable for their own drivers errors? Thankfully the resteraunt made the error right. Will never use again

This is by far the worst delivery company ever. They don't care to resolve issues they only like to keep ur money. There have been several times I've ordered and a 10 or 15 min ride always takes the drivers 3 times longer. Also few times the drivers took over an hour. And each time I tried to speak with a manager I was ignored and (via chat) the agent would disconnect the chat as if my concerns where of no importance. Also I had a family emergency and left, instead of canceling and crediting me they wanted to give me reasons why they would still deliver even tho I was not there and dealing with a serious matter. I told them to eventually just keep my money and cancel because clearly they just cared about keeping my money. The agent was so quick to agree and once again closed the chat and disregarded my concerns and has no empathy towards my situation. Worst company ever! I'll stick to door dash. Or Uber eats.
If you don't get your order then that's your fault because SkipTheDishes thinks we're responsible for the delivery, they won't deliver the food to your house and then when you ask for help they won't give you a refund too
I ordered my dinner on the Skip the Dishes app and it was delivered to an address in the opposite side of the City. When I contacted Skip, I was told that I had provided the wrong address and they offer a 50% discount on future orders. Not acceptable because on my account information the address and phone number is correct and the one they delivered to was nothing like mine.
Ordered a meal from East side marios for 40 $ was brought a 10$ appetizer, was told because I've gotten refunds before that they wont be giving me a refund. It isnt my fault your drivers and services are crappy. So I'm about 30$ out with a 10 $ $#*!ty appetizer. Terrible app, might as well stick with uber eats or door dash instead of this sad excuse of a company
I've given this company way to many chances. Constantly waiting way over time estimates and lazy drivers leave good nowhere near my door. Customer service is the worst I've seen with any business, it's absolutely the worst and don't get your money back when they get it wrong or in some cases not at all even get your order. Don't giving this company anymore chances or money. Everyone should do the same and use a different delivery service or go back to restaurants doing their own deliveries
We placed an order the other night and they just... didn't... bother with a couple of important items. So when we got in touch about the order they basically just said, 'Meh, too bad...' and said they would 'refund' us.
I got an email a day or so later saying our 'refund' had gone through and saw that it wasn't exactly a refund at all. It was a 'Skip' credit. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with that, I'll never use them again- they're terrible. I made it clear I had no intention of using them again as well, so this little credit was just an extra slap in the face, I guess.
Anyway, the whole experience was really disrespectful and just a pain in the $#*!.
They can keep their 'Skip' credit, we'll move on.
Skip the dishes needs to rate the restaurants on speed to get orders completed. The drivers are great, but the speed and quality of food leaves one to question why the Restaurants are not flagged for slow order processing. Last order I made, and yes this will be the last time I use this service took over an 45min at KFC, for delivery to hotel while travelling out of town. Chicken tasted like fish, there were no napkins or cutlery included. Previously ordered from Five Guy's, got stale bun and burnt to a crisp bacon. Quality does not seem to be an option these day's
I would never recommend skip to anybody for their food delivery. Because whenever you will place the order firstly you will never get that correct.And add on that they will not refund you. Best part no customer service phone number available to resolve your issue.

The list of terrible experiences with this company is extensive, from delivery drivers saying they dropped the order off when they didn't or took it to the wrong door, to the terrible customer service from the "contact center" overseas to waiting forever for a refund on the card you used. But what really tops it off, is when you wait almost forty minutes for a burger combo from hero burger, and a message pops up saying the restaurant needs more time to make your order. So then you go from 12 minutes on the clock back up to 51 minutes. The problem with that is, there is this magical little tool called Google where you can type up a restaurant name and phone number and bons your Uncle. So sneaky and underhanded of skip to blame the restaurant when the real issue is lack of driver's on the road. Maybe if y'all weren't so greedy and paid your driver's a decent amount they might be more inclined to stay on the road later.
Beware! This company has a bad reputation of taking your money, and not delivering your food.
I have had many issues with this company from non deliveries to rude drivers, dishonest drivers, drivers that can not follow directions, and to drivers refuse to deliver and test lie to the company stating they delivered the food and then eat the food you purchased. The place I work has surveillance cameras cameras that prove the dishonesty in this company and many witnesses catching these drivers and staff being dishonest and rude to their customers. This company will take your money and often not deliver the food and good luck trying to get a refund for the food you purchased and not receive! They refuse to refund your orders!
Skip the dishes is not worth it. You as a purchaser are forced to take on 50% of the cost when a restaurant serves you rotten, inedible food. Skip the dishes and their team don't care. But why should I assume half the cost only to throw food in the garbage… because hell I'm not eating it and wouldn't feed it to my dead dog.
I took one bite of the sandwich I ordered and instantly gagged because the turkey was completely spoiled. Do they care? Absolutely not! They even type based on a written verbiage that's given to them and remove any human aspect. I bet if it were their mother, father, son, daughter they might give a $#*!.
Don't waste your money.
Wrong items. Wrong reimbursement. No possibility to call to ask for a refund. Horrible communication. Saying that you will receive the reimbursement but keep the money for themselves. Do not use this company if you don't want to get robbed.
Deleted the app. Will never order from them again. The most useless agents. I don't know why they are paid and why they are a delivery company that can't deliver food. Joke.
I ordered two breakfast burgers and a smoothie from mcdonald's. It said that the driver would be at my location in 67 minutes, then it went to 38 minutes within a second, then he was in a wholenother location. Then i get a notification saying that he delivered the order downstairs. My friend went down and even waited 2 minutes. NOTHING WAS THERE. My delivery driver is a crook who made some bull$#*! excuses. He stated that he had a "flat tire" when he's probably some crook who just ate my food. I lost my sympathy for people.
I gave specific information on where my place is and the guy kept calling for 20 minutes asking where I live. I gave him specific instructions over and over again, by the time I got my food it was ice cold and they refused to give a refund. This isn't the first time and I am missing stuff from my order again. Complete bs service.
The driver passed through my house and stopped there for a few minutes, then went to the next street, was there for 10 minutes, then completed the transaction even though food was not delivered to me. Kinda annoying but I hope he enjoyed the food.
Answer: Not at all easy. And they are disrespectful, rude and downright terrible at providing service. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
