I am really impressed with this hosting service. I have been with them for more than 5 years now and even though I've provided my reviews in the past, some of my recent experiences have been really good with their support team that I felt I should write a good review and let everyone know that they're still going strong. The service recently changed from CPanel to Site Tools and even though all my web applications continued to work as they were, updating them after the change required me to understand some intricacies about the new service and I had to rely on the services of their technical support team to understand and adjust my processes. The chat service is super fast and all members I speak with are highly capable and very well mannered. I've never had a difficult conversation with anyone from their team.
So I have no hesitation in vouching for SiteGround in case anyone is considering using their services for hosting their PHP web applications.
Each time we have issue with the website, Level 1 - Level 2 support knows exactly what the issue is and comes up with solid recommendation and solution. What I find very good with siteground is the support team is not only technical, they have business understanding. They understand if the site is down for some reason it can have financial consequences on our daily business, so efficient team, hard to see elsewhere. Today our website had an issue and although the issue was not caused by siteground server, the effective restating of the website was successfully carried out, thanks to the qualified support of siteground.com

I just want to say that I was hesitant to leave Arvixe, not because Arvixe is worth staying with at all, they absolutely aren't but rather BECAUSE Arvixe has been such a headache that I didn't want to get stuck with another hosting provider like them ever again, especially because I locked myself into perpetual hell with them due to needing to pay for 2 years at a time to get the best deal. Well anyway I finally did it after a lot of research. I was hesistant because there are a lot of claims that Sitegrounds tech support has gone down hill lately and that is exactly the problem I had with Arvixe but I haven't found that to be true albiet they hide how to get to their live chat a little too well once you actually do get to it the people who help are nothing but absolutely awesome. I had to have asked idk how many questions and they do offer you links to like go off and read but if you ask questions they don't say like check out the link they actually will help you with your specific questions about your specific website because sometimes idk if I'm even describing what I need help with correctly if that makes sense. Vasil especially was probably in chat with me for an hour and I know I had to have asked some repeat questions because I get confused kinda easily like it's hard to grasp certain things about mail and SSL stuff and transfering and pointing all these websites. I just personally really wanted to shout that dude out and say that was a real person who cared and that means EVERYthing after dealing with headache after headache after headache with Arvixe. They copy and paste everything they say to you, not Siteground. Not Vasil. Straight to the point, never frustrated, never passes me off to another person. I hope he knows he does make a huge difference after a week of crying with Arvixe support I am just so relieved now to know this is what I can hopefully expect from Siteground. I'm moving all eight of my websites over. I'm sorry I ever hesitated.
Really competent, fast and friendly chat support with almost no wait time. I have just taken over the administration of my customer's site which we will rebuiild on SiteGround instead of transferring the current site as it is. With this in mind I had some technical questions that I could not find answers to in the FAQ
This is the 2nd time I've dealt with an issue on my website and had to utilize Siteground's customer service. Both times I've left impressed with the knowledge of the individual I spoke to and how quickly I was able to resolve my issues. This time I spoke with an agent named Dobrin, and he was able to direct me to the htaccess file to give my new ip address access to edit my website since I was receiving a 403 forbidden error. I also made an erroneous purchase based on some confusing advertising, but Dobrin was able to reverse my mistake there.
In short, if you're looking for a great webhosting company that employs knowledgeable individuals to help you through any issues you have, this is definitely my pick.
I transferred my site over from Godaddy and at first I thought if I used SG transfer plugin I would see if I could do it. Unfortunately, I ran into a few hiccups and eventually had their staff transfer over the files and database for me for the fee that was well worth it for the peace of mind. Next, setting up all the security, cloudflare settings and such was another hurdle but the SG team was awesome in walking me through what I needed to do if I kept the domain with godaddy or move to SG. After several days of testing and Godaddy no help in double checking I eventually, moved the domain over to SG as well and as soon as I did all the set up was easy. Again, I might have made it more difficult on myself trying to do it on my own but SG team was very patient and walked me through each step. I am now live, my emails are all working and my forms are going where they need to now. What a huge relief. I could not be happier I made the switch and now that I know I can reach out to the SG team any hour day or night they are all 5 stars in my book.
After contacting them 3x about my client's email not working, my client can still not access his webmail account. Today I ask my question multiple ways and he finally asked his supervisor the wrong question. I'm at a loss, I can't resell a service I cannot adequately troubleshoot.
I was absolutely blown out of the water by the customer support I received from Siteground. Generally, tech platform's customer service is absolutely disgusting.

I am, yet again, grateful for and amazed by the tech support team at Siteground. After my email was hacked, they helped me get set up so that it won't happen again and get back online just in time to meet an urgent deadline. I worked with 4 different members of their tech support team and each one was knowledgable, kind, helpful, and patient. Props to Siteground!
It took me awhile to figure out accessing the Live Chat feature, but the tech support was terrific, and helped me get my site back and cleaned up. Highly recommend.
I had an issue with my website that was causing extremely high CPU/second usage. Quite a technical issue that took a lot of work over several days to solve. The SiteGround team worked me through the various sages of investigation until the problem was solved. I am not a technical expert, but with clear instructions and advice, their recommendations and changes were clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend them

I just spent over 1.5 hours in a chat window with Atanas P. And he was so patient working with me to solve my issue uploading to my website. My old web host would have tried to pass this problem off onto a third-party app I use, but Atanas stuck with it until he found a problem. The issue isn't solved yet, but it has been bumped up to Senior techs where I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it. But even if not, I'm still happy with the effort that was put into solving my issue. Thanks, Atanas and SiteGround. Hey HR! Give this guy a big pay raise!
Answer: There are certainly many other hosting companies out there, some of which appear cheaper, but there is a difference between low cost and good value. I have not found a hosting company that is better than sitegound
