I really wonder if there are any live bodies behind the portraits posted on this site. Few ever respond, although I've gotten a number of the scam emails trying to elicit a private email address and/or phone number. There is simply very little interaction with the "players," which leads me to believe that members are simply cruising. Try Senior Match instead.

I found 3 guys in my area they send a smile I message them not one response not one face picture I'm sorry I wasted my money on this site

Complete scam! Very few real people, no appropriate matches close to me, impossibility to cancel. They are typical dating scoundrels! There is only hoax and no scam, only fake profiles and nasty community - a 100% contrast to what a dating site should be like. Don't waste your time on Silversingles, I can tell for sure, with so much choice of dating apps and sites, they are not worth a dime!

Was trying to make a transaction with silversingles and was hacked while trying to do that, buyer beware, what a rip-off! Lost $50 on a prepaid credit card, and they don't even allow prepaid credit cards anymore! Wow!

Their "algorithm" system = Dartboard and bad thrower.
No "search" feature, you are at their mercy.
More scammers on the site than actual people.
Customer service makes every issue the user's fault.

Basically I start to interact with one individual
Who pretended to living in America
And instead she's was from Russia
She obviously posted a fake profile
She lying to me about looking for a healthy long term serious relationship
And instead her true purpose was to obtain the US Visa
So before you subscribed to a dating website even the free ones
I encourage all of you to do some research about " romance scam "
Because you have more chances to find your soulmate
At your favorite grocery store
Where you buy your food every single day than in online...!

Silversingles is an awful site. No matter what I write for my profile it is automatically rejected and I need to write to customer service to have it approved. I'm guessing that many people have this problem because there are so many incomplete profiles when I look at my "matches". The "matches" that they make for me are much further away than the 100 mile radius that I requested. I also get a large number of messages from fake profiles. I know because I've gotten a number of "Security Alert" messages from them. I've learned to recognize certain messages as being fake and I've learned not to respond to a message right away because I can't tell if the person is real or not. I've already made sure that my subscription will not renew. This is my first experience with a dating site and I'm hoping that not every site is like this. Don't waste your time and money here.

After I joined SilverSingles I realized it was not right for me. When I tried to cancel my subscription I discovered that wasn't an option. At that time I thought that I had turned off the automatic renewal so I wouldn't be charged for a service I wasn't using. Apparently, that's not how it works. My bank account has been charged again. I can't get into my SilverSingles account and attempts to reset my password have failed. I filled out the form requesting a refund. That was a waste of time. I was told I didn't cancel my subscription at the proper time and to enjoy the services. Well, I'm not! The customer service rep who responded also said the automatic renewal has been turned off but I can't tell since I haven't been able to login. I contacted them as soon as I saw the charge and it made no difference. Be aware that if you sign up with these people, there is no going back. Please learn from my mistake, don't waste your money!

The only option you have is 6 months and you can't cancel for a refund. I tried after 5 days and they refused. The site is not inclusive and full of married men and or men trolling for hook ups or they are bigots. It is the worst dating site that I came across. I will go back to Match or Cupid.

After 6 months of paid interaction, not one single conversation. The only responses were from catfishers. Almost all the pictures were of images on greenboard. This has been a giant waste of time and money.

I have received contact messages from nothing but men with fake profiles on this website every single message I received is from a man that is not the person in the pictures.
I feel like I have wasted my money and expectations of meeting someone it is a waste of money to sign up on this site.

I have belonged for two out of the six months I paid for, contacted a number of profiles by the site's email system, and have only gotten three responses. The site says I have a lot of matches--162--but few are within the 50-mile radius I designated. Most are from out-of-state even though my other preferences are not overly restrictive. I have no interest in continuing any longer but refunds are not given. Thus, it's a rip off.

Majorly DISAPPOINTED in Silver Singles, my experience, MORE deceitful/fake profiles THAN real ones! PLEASE! SS, you are contributing to the bad reputation of the online dating experience. When we know better, we have the opportunity to do better... I know I speak for so many others out there who are serious about dating, a much better vetting process for membership would be a great start! There is at least one new online dating site out there right now doing just that--from what I've read so far, members can only use the site's camera for photos and the site does an eight point check to verify identities... we shall see!

I have one month left on my SS membership, which I do not want due to all the "fake" profiles, especially three (3) in just the last week. Of course, I was told I cannot get a refund for the last month. What a world we live in!

I have tried this site a few times and I did actually meet a few real people but most profiles on this site are simply scams! There aren't many to choose from and as a result the same old profiles are recycled. Many on there don't even have a real account and didn't even complete a profile. There aren't many decent dating sites.

I've been trying to stop my Silversingles auto renewal for over a month. They make the cancellation process really difficult for anyone who isn't 100% tech savvy and will NOT send me a link to reset my password despite my many requests for them to send me a link. I've lost my original password and yet they REQUIRE that you remember your old password to set a new one - very weird. They just want to keep you paying no mater how unethical. Plus Match is much better - don't use this service!

A very poorly designed dating site! So many problems save your money and your time please! Apparently they require 100 characters just for this to be reviewed. So please let me reiterate do not waste your money our time on this bogus $#*! dating site!
