Composing my collage was not a problem but paying for it was the WORST! It would not accept the shipping address. Even after entering my address, triple checking for errors, and clicking save (multiple times), it kept telling me my home address wasn't valid. After all that work putting together a collage, their checkout process was a massive fail. I'm so frustrated, I removed the project entirely and went elsewhere. DO NOT USE SHUTTERFLY! They need to get their act together. I'm out of here and will never be back.
Customer assist and answer time are definitely amazing and i might absolutely prescribe you to every body in a cut up second thinking about the fact that you've got tackled my essential scenario. Severa appreciation to you.
This is my first sitejabber.com review - simply because Shutterfly is absolutely horrible. I feel like the company just stole money from my family.
I ordered my cards on November 30, and they still have not left Shutterfly as of December 28. How is that the carrier's fault? E-commerce has been delayed due to the pandemic, but Shutterfly cannot even get the package in the hands of UPS within four weeks?
Not only that, but customer service has a wait time of almost three hours over the phone! I will not use Shutterfly again and will encourage others not to.
Save yourselves! Placed an order for Christmas gifts on 12/10, paid extra for expedited shipping... it's 12/28 and I'm still waiting for the items, and have received ZERO response from Shutterfly customer service via Twitter DM (messaged them 4 days ago). UPS says that they haven't even been given the packages to ship yet (while Shutterfly initially tried to blame it on the couriers).
Take your covid fee and shove it. Businesses and corporate companies making millions off covid and your charging loyal customers a covid fee.
People should use another online photo site, shutterfly doesn't care about customers.
Shutterfly is mediocre at best. They are becoming more expensive and their shipping fees are out of this world. Its ridiculous they charge a covid fee now too. Everyone wants to get covid rich.

For text I submitted as "events", the bottom line of text was omitted in three occasions and the letters were missing on two words.
One photo was blurred whereas original I sent is quite clear.
I received 3 of the 4 items I ordered timely, all ordered on Nov. 29,2020. The 4th item was 'shipped' on Dec. 5. A LIE. Online CHAT said it would be here before Xmas. A LIE. She said she'd credit my account $15, a LIE as of 12-26. According to USPS tracking, "Pre-shipment info; AWAITING ITEM" (from Shutterfly). Will contact credit card company for a credit.
I think they have been pretty consistent the last 5- 6 years-- this year I ordered on 12/2- they sent out 12/7 and today is 12/20 and the cards are still not here. I spent 20 min with online person who said they will give me a credit for next year-- not showing on the account but maybe a card is coming? The tracking show UPS supposedly delivered to our local P.05 days ago but Postmaster looked and they are not there... So disappointed and not sure they will show up at all at this point. I will probably reverse the 105 dollar charge on my credit card and use Minted next year.
First off they did not review the pictures I made on the site therefore cutting off the head my daughter in the 1st picture of the calender I made for the grandparents when it clearly showed her on my laptop. 2nd they did not take out my money for 2 weeks after my order which is completely no ok! Which made my holiday account overdraft. After I had it all budgeted and now I have a late fee! All business transactions are 3 to 5 days. I will never use them again! And they don't even send your orders at the same time.
There were a lot of reviews that mentioned items being either delivered very late or never. But I still went ahead and ordered through Shutterfly because they had a "special" price. BIG MISTAKE. After 30 days, the item ordered is nowhere to be found and it is impossible to reach a human at Shutterfly. My only alternative now is to contact my credit card company and cancel the charge. Save yourself a huge headache and do not use Shutterfly.
Revised review: In order to be fully transparent and provide a very accurate reflection on my particular experience, I felt it was necessary to update this review since the status of my order changed. After trying one last time to get Shutterfly (I have a hard time giving up) to respond to my inquiries for an update, I finally did get an email from Shutterfly that says my order is moving and shortly after that I got a text message with the tracking information. So it looks like eventually, Shutterfly will try to address the shipping problems - but it is too bad for both customers and Shutterfly that it sometimes takes extraordinary efforts to resolve.
I ordered 10 of the same little ornaments, they were sent in 3 different envelopes which took over a month to arrive. Meanwhile, their other company, Snapfish, sent a 2 mug order in 2 different boxes, both printed wrong and I finally just asked for a refund. I am glad I am not alone in my sadness after reading these new comments about how bad Shutterfly has gotten.
Ordered Christmas cards the first of December. Here we are, the 23rd, and they can't tell me where they are, when they'll get here, and they won't give me a refund until "after the holiday". They owe me a refund now, as even if the cards come in, there's no way to get them out ahead of Christmas. Called them 4 times, always a 200+ minute wait; obviously I'm not the only one with issues. At least they call me back to tell me that they won't help. Horrible company.
This company is a joke this year. Order placed on Dec 2 2020 and still have not received. Tracking number doesn't add up. They don't answer their phones. Chat doesn't help at all. I will be reporting them to bbb and my bank.
You pay for shipping, $9 for one item, but they ship it usps for a couple bucks. My most recent purchase still hasn't arrived after 5 weeks! Customer service says, shutterfly isn't offering reimbursements or credits during the holiday. I ordered before the LAST holiday! Horrible company. Free prints are a rip off too, you pay a lot more per print after you pay for shipping. I highly recommend another using any other company!
Ordered 80 holiday photo cards and 80 envelopes on Nov 29th. Estimated arrival date was Dec 12-16th. It is now evening of Dec 22nd and still no cards and no ability to reach Shutterfly. I have put my number on the waiting list for a call back. Well, no call back yesterday and nor today. $140 down the drain. I am so upset as I could have easily ordered from another company... which is where I will give my business in the future. You lost a loyal customer.
I have ordered from shutterfly several times over the years and never had a problem... until my current order... that I am still waiting on. My invitations were supposed to go out over two weeks ago and they still aren't hear. They have no way to contact customer service at all. I'll never recommend any one to use this service ever again. I should've used MINTED.
They have no disclaimers or information that pops up on why a perfectly good promo is being denied. I had $25.00 off ANY shutterfly product, OR a free 8x8 photobook. So, I said $25 if better than the $14.99 value of the 8x8 book and made a 10x10. Of course it only took $16.89 off the total cost. It kept defaulting to the 8x8 coupon, which makes no sense how that is applicable, because it wasn't an 8x8, it was a 10x10. I am currently on hour 6 or dealing with their customer service. They are offering a free 10x10 book, (which I'd still have to pay them shipping, taxes, and a covid charge) so I dont want that. I want the $25 discount, and the stupid 20% discount they were offering that day, and then took 3 hours to make the book. This is robbing peoppe blind, and they make it difficult to get your money back by having horrible customer service. I will never ever purchase from them again. I wish I could give zero stars.
I ordered my Christmas cards early. They were sent out by Shutterfly in plenty of time for me to receive and send out before Xmas. I live in Madison, Wi and they arrived in Madison on December 9th. For some reason they were not delivered rather they were sent back to Illinois. I could see there was a problem when they remained there for over a week. I reached out to Shutterfly and they said to relax I would receive them. They came back to Madison on December 16th and once again were not delivered but went to Pittsburgh. So, I reached out again and they said no worries I would receive them and they would give me the $$ my cards were worth to make future purchases which I would never want to do for the lack of assistance they gave. My cards are now in Illinois as I write this review on December 22nd so I doubt I will get them at all. I feel they needed to see something went wrong on the shipping label and send me a new batch of cards rather than give me the money as they hope I won't use it. UGH UGH UGH!
