Anyone can offer products and collect money, but there is no assurance that the buyer or the product is real or even exists. And Shopee is Complicit in these ongoing scams because they have NO mechanism to check the legitimacy of the Seller, The Product or even whether the Seller is a real person. All Shopee wants to do is collect their share of any transactions that go through. Martin Yu and all his cronies seserve to be kicked out of office and publicly admit their complicity. More importantly, all responsible governments need to ban Shopee from operating in their country. Shame on you, Martin Yu

Based on my experience regarding return/refund items. The item was returned due to incorrect item. I ordered a table cloth based on their variations of style, design and color. I even had chat with the seller before i bought it. Upon receipt of the item, it was very much different from what i chose. So i retuned it at once. I received it nov 16, i returned it the next day, nov 17. The seller got it nov 19. I was the one who paid for the shipping fee of return. So the next was many times of follow up regarding my refund. I sent them the copy of airway bill for the shipping fee i paid. Ì even had live chat for those agents repeating many times the info of my complaint. Only to find out a while ago, that's today dec 3, from what i heard from the latest agent i talked to, those irresponsible agents whom i talked to wasn't able to report my complaint. So disgusting customer service rep of Shopee... imagine i'm here waiting for nothing? Useless irresponsible customer representatives of shopee, you don't know your jobs, better resign now! You're not worth to be there as customer service representative... you're not worth to be paid off!

I bought some items with shopee and when you have good luck, you will get what you ordered. But last time i received a dvd player, which didn't work like announced. But even although i claimed immediately with shopee and sent the videos for evidence - there is no "shopee guarantee" or even customer help at all!. They sent several times the same automated mails, said that they didnt receive any proof, what is ofcourse a lie and referred to discuss with the seller! They don't care at all about the buyer in contrast e.g. to Lazada or Amazon. I guess the few positive reviews are transmitted by themselves. Shopee only wants to use the opportunity to make money without any seriousity.

If you check your phone, there's folder titled "shopeePH" which contains an "images" folder. Sometimes, that folder has contents that are not shared to shopee and are more personal.
Also if you try to invite friends in shopee shake, it lists the names depending on your contacts name and even lists friends that you never interacted with within the app.

Late deliveries

Good company gets parcels done and delivered within 3 days regardless of anything. But they're delivering more than 5 days when that should be the maximum waiting time. No tolerance

I placed a cash on delivery order and their rider did not give me the correct change. The man literally drove away like a bat out of hell and didn't stop even as I screamed that he shortchanged me. I reached out to Shopee through all channels I can find and all they do is give me a runaround and ask for things impossible for me to provide as "proof" of the theft. They are asking for an invoice signed by the rider where he indicates he shortchanged me. Common sense, would a thief leave proof of his crime? Disgusting service.

We purchased a cast iron skillet from Fashionski (it might have an underscore in the name?) well, we marked received when we got it delivered COD. When we opened it, we noticed it was defective and had a coating of some metallic substance on it also! We immediately contacted the company and told them! They fought with us and fought with us! We sent pics dated an hour after delivered and they said "no way it could be defective" well LONG STORY short, we contacted Shopee as well! They sided with that Polish company and now we use that junk of a skillet for a grease trap in my BBQ grill! They would not let us return it in brand new defective condition! Cheaters! Scammers! Shopee also! We will never use Shop pee ever again! Yes Lazada has our online business now!
The 3rd photo is what they advertised! What is all that grey metallic? I was not letting my family eat from that! Well, photos could not upload? I will love to send photos to anyone! I have lots!

I have paid through banking online, payment wa successful but then there is an issue on thier part and Dragonpay.
Payment was done right away, but all my orders has been cancelled. Have called their customer service for 6 consecutive days and counting up to this time and they dont know how to handle the issue and cannot resolve the problem.
Shopee and Dragonpay are keeping on pointing to each other on who to blame. No one have done anything to resolve it.

Scammers

Worst customer service. Rude, apathetic, will push for their "guideline" "process" or "policy" with no attempt to resolve or help the customers with their problem. Encountered 2 sellers who are scammers apparently but continues their business with Shopee.

If u cancel ur order, you have to do SS and chat the seller and call their customer service, as i do the follow up. They said that i have to call my BANK? I've been to doing this for almost 3months

It is a waste of time and money talking to their unreliable customer service representative. Their number is not toll free and they do not have call agents who can speak Cebuano.
Sellers are dishonest. I recieved incomplete items multiple times. For someone who is new to online shopping, I find their refund/return procedures long and confusing.
Shipped items are not handled properly by their couriers. Sellers even blamed couriers for missing items.
Do not buy items from shopee if you value your money.

Football jerseys advertised on Shopee are often not even recognized or authorized jerseys by the clubs Shopee purports to represent. They are fakes. Shopee's pages are filled with unauthorized jerseys. Additionally, even the jerseys which are recognized club jerseys are not OEM jerseys but are knock offs made in Thailand or elsewhere

Similarly, sizing is terribly inaccurate. Out of 6 jerseys I ordered from 3 different shop on Shopee, all jerseys were incorrect sizes. The online jerseys for sale will show sizes, such as XL is purported to be 56-58 cm chest. When XL jerseys were received, their actual measurement was 52cm (which is a Medium size according to the website), even though the actual labels inside the jersey stated the jerseys were XL.

When trying to obtain a refund for these jerseys, the seller is allowed to make a counter offer to your request for a full refund. For instance, I requested a refund of 841PHP. The seller counter-offered at 1 PHP. How outrageous is this?

I will never use Shopee again. They are a complete rip-off. I have ordered numerous jerseys, household, goods, etc from Lazada and they are normally acceptable and/or good quality and very efficient with returns and refunds.

Just like any online shops. Shopee also expects all their buyers to be ready to receive deliveries AT ANY TIME, ANY DAY. So, basically, you have to be waiting for them all day, all the time, every day because you will never know when they will come! They will send you a message for the day. If you miss the delivery man, that's it. You can't be talking to someone on the phone while waiting for them. You can't be working from home if they tell you they will deliver your ordered item. You have to be waiting at the door like a dog. You can not plan to go anywhere if you order from Shopee, you have to be ready to wait all day. You cannot even go to the comfort room unless they have arrived because if you miss the delivery, they will return the products to the seller or you will be stressed waiting for a refund. THAT'S E-COMMERCE AT ITS BEST!

A Hard Disk I bought was defective. The seller, Seagate, accepted the refund and apologized. Shopee first refused, then said it would ‘manually' refund me and sent me an unusable voucher to refund the return shipping fee (I refused it). Still no refund, so I am now reporting the case to the DTI. Shopee staff is instructed to delay and try to avoid refunds. It is the dishonest and deceptive culture of the company.
Customers should report their cases to the DTI (https://www.dti.gov.ph/konsyumer/complaints/): download the complaint form, print, fill and sign it, send it online with all pics detailing your case. If you need help, email me at *******@gmail.com. Fight for your rights!

I love this online shopping app it help me so much. I have multiple sclerosis I can't walk but because of shopee I can purchase the things I need and things I want without going out or going to the mall. Plus there's so many discounts and promos.

I purchased a few products from a store in Shopee (1buycar.ph), well it's 8 total items. When I get it, it's only 6pcs. After contacting the store via their chat system, the store says their shipping team made a mistake (I guess they cannot count), so anyway, I request for refund, the store offers to refund, but the system only says 1p, hahaha. So, I chat with the store again and complain to Shopee, well. The store gives me a voucher that gets applied to my purchase, but only for that store, so now, I am forced to purchase from that store, which they have nothing that I want, and since they are giving me a voucher, there is no links to free delivery vouchers. So, if I am to purchase 190p worth of items, shipping will be 100p, and for what, this was not my fault, so I complain to Shopee and they just send me links to their help center. Stay away from Shopee, I will never do business with Shopee ever again. I've had stores send me items with missing pieces and they just say they made sure all were complete before shipping, so, that was another hellish moment, since courier wouldn't pay for the missing item, and seller had the same to say. That should've been my awakening, but I give other stores the benefit of the doubt. And now, I am totally aware of how customers get treated, they don't! And, just the way they price things even looks shady, you can see in the photos attached. I've been shopping at Shoppe for several years now, and I purchase almost in a regular basis, but unfortunately, no longer will I do business with Shopee. And, I will make sure to let everyone know in all social medias. It was only 190 pesos, but it was not about the amount, it is the principle. Businesses should value customers, not just screw them over.
