I give it NO STARS! I had an employee quit before he received his shoes. When I tried to return on line it said I wasn't eligible for return. Call company 4 times. Was held on the phone for approx 20 min at a time. Each time they promised to send a return label The last time I called they promised they'd call me back. Still waiting for a return label that will never come. What good is an on line company if you can't return or exchange shoes?
I will NEVER use this company again
The customer service representatives are super helpful and polite. My issue is if you live in a Canada and order shoes from her the US sizes are a size larger. So I returned the shoes and filled out their paper requesting a size smaller be shipped to me. I called to follow up as I had not heard back and it's been a month. Instead the gave me a refund but not for the full amount. The charged me for shipping and a shoe restocking fee! So I paid
$51.93. Got a refund of $35.08. Difference is &16.85. The restocking fee and shipping were $6.95 each. What was the other $2.95 for? Anyways... that's bull crap. I won't order from these thieves again.
Don't fall for the 30 day return. No one to talk to except the person on the phone. No effort to retain a customer.
I bought some shoes from them and II got charged twice they said that 1 is just ahold But I cannot use the money in my account and my account and my account will be credited that amount in 5 to 8 business days I have bought a lot of shoes from them and this has never happened before
I'm gonna condense this store as much as I can. Bought a pair of shoes - Shoes A. They were good for what they were and wore them for my job for about a 6 weeks. The sole started falling off so I called and told them. Shoes A were covered under a manufacturing warranty and I was able to exchange them. Instead of getting another pair, I decided to change up and got Shoes B.
I received them and unfortunately, they were too small. But luckily they have a 30-day, no-hassle guarantee that allows you to exchange them for the correct size. When I call, they, of course, say that it's no problem and go to give me a return label. But alas - these shoes were purchased over 30 days ago.
I try and try and TRY to explain that no, these are only around 14 days into the 30-day guarantee (it took me a while to start the exchange process due to my hectic work schedule). They told me I was pushing 60 days past. Turns out they were using Shoe A as the date of purchase.
Meaning that the VERY MOMENT they sent me Shoe B, I was already PAST the 30-day guarantee window.
I called them and refused to hang up until I spoke to someone higher. I stayed on the phone for an hour going round and round. They only reiterated that it was past the 30 days and they couldn't help. Never mind I didn't want a REFUND. I WANTED the shoes - I just wanted them to FIT.
Add to that - when I explained this to the HR guy at my work, he yelled at me for bad-mouthing them and wouldn't help me. I now have a $100 pair of shoes that don't fit. Money is tight enough without this horrible loophole they used to get out of honoring their guarantee. This company failed miserably and I deserved better.
I've had two foot surgeries in my life and my employer requires slip resistant shoes. I got a pair and they were uncomfortable. I exchanged them for another pair and those were too small. When I called them to exchange them again I was told the 30 days from the original shoe had expired and they can't do anything. No exchange no return. You have to read the fine print with these people. Now I'm stuck with a $65 pair of shoes that I can't wear. I'm so angry I could scream.
Shoes are great but not worth the hassle of having to deal with the completely incompetent staff who work the costumer service lines. Never experiences anything like it in my life. Was wowed by the level of stupidity and poor service.
Two pairs have made me fall and hurt myself. One pair at work and another walking in my neighborhood. The soles became loose and tripped me while walking
After only 90 days my shoes started leaking water, you would think this would be seen as returnable. I was told it's outside of the 30 return policy even though the product was defective I was not allowed to exchange them.
I ordered work shoes and set them aside and I forgot you only had 30 days to send them back, but I thought you could send them back or exchange them, if they weren't worn and I would have to pay the shipping. Ok my bad, now I'm stuck with shoes that I can't wear.
Bought 2 day shipping, didn't arrive. When it finally 'arrived' it was in another city out for delievery. Already frustrated I called them and canceled the order and wanted a refund. They told me the refund would take 3-5 days. Whatever. I finally get an email saying that paypal declined the refund? Didn't even pay through paypal as I don't own a paypal account. They said they are going to send a paper check which would take 3-4 weeks. I called them and they are insisting that I used paypal when I didnt. I checked out on their website with my credit card.
The customer service is the WORST to deal with. They all seem like they have no clue what is going on. I was transfered through atleast 5 personnell before they finalyl told me basically yea sucks
My Son bought me a par of Andis for Christmas I kept them in the box for a month because I still have my old ones. A month later I tried them on and felt big. They were 1/2 size bigger. I called customer service for an exchange but it was denied, because it was after 30 days. I have been buying this shoes for my employees and myself for over 20 years. In my view this is NOT good service.
Shoes for crews is not what it just to be.
Opted for the payroll deduction but made me pay fully when I completed the online order. Did a payroll deduction for 6 paychecks and never refunded my money from the original purchase. Charged $175 for an $87 pair of shoes. Customer service was rude and refused to listen. I don't know why Compass Group uses the service
I ordered a pair of boots. Tracking said delivered. I never got them and this company does nothing to help.
They took my $120 and I never got the shoes and they won't give me a refund. They said FedEx sent proof of delivery but it's just the same tracking info I can see and only says drop off at front door. No picture no address it was dropped off at.
Nobody will help resolve this.
I do not recommend this company at all. Horrible!
The product is excellent however their customer service is horrible & their return policy is very misleading. They claim free returns when asking for an exchange. They will email you a return label, usually for FedEx, but what they don't tell you is that not every FedEx location honors free shipping. Some locations will only accept free return shipping if you purchase another shipping box at a cost of between $8.00 and $15.00. Hardly free returns! When I called Shoes for Crews about this they acknowledged this policy & was told it is the customers responsibility to call around & find a FedEx location that doesn't charge extra even though they make no mention of this on their website. It's a shame that a company making a good product is so dishonest!
Tried to order shoes out of stock, that was in stock a week away. Company site kept changing the in stock date every 2 weeks. Tried to email company about my shoe order as my order number wasn't working and I had no other emails about my orders for almost a month. They did not answer my question about my delivery date but instead told me when the shoes would be back in stock. Not what I asked for, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After waiting the said date I did not get any response so I asked for a cancelation and refund. Waited a whole week and no response. Had to email them AGAIN from their site to get an short answer that my order had already been canceled. No comment about the refund but looking at my bank statements shows that I had gotten my money back a couple of days after i order my shoes, which leads me to believe they canceled my order long ago. No apology at all for the lack of communication. Basically, just order from amazon. Its cheaper, and less hassle of whatever this was.
Shoes for crews is always reliable professional and customer service is on point and punctual. I bought the DeWalt newton. Shoe has heel support as good as orthotic. The tongue is attached so it's waterproof. The sole is arranged in such a way it doesn't accumulate buildup. I'm in food processing so this is a huge plus. Shoe breathes well fits well. My biggest issue with most work shoes is they seem to want to come off your feet when you walk. Not the case here. Quality show great price. Highly recommend the shoe and the shoes for crews crew. Good transaction. Thank you so much.
I worked a 6 hour shift serving shift with black flats that I bought from here and I acquired the biggest most messed up blisters I have ever gotten from a pair of shoes. I believe they are infected. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT buy shoes from here. They ripped the skin off my ankles and the side of my feet. Shoes for crews should change their name. Horrible.
I ordered a pair of shoes off their website which ive done many times before it has been 15 years and I stand with their safety grip. The shoe i ordered stated to order the shoe 1/2 size SMALLER than your normal size. Well they dont carry 10 1/2 so i ordered my normal size and thought it was just be slightly too big but Thats not the case they are a 1/2 too small. I would of never ordered them if I knew this but because I didnt know i got a pair of shoes too small and dont care for my other options to chose from so i have to pay a restocking fee and lose my shipping money if I get a refund. If their website would have had the correct information I would of never ordered any shoes but now I have to pay for THEIR mistake and false info on their website.
I have had a pair of shoes on order for 4 months... through work. Apparently I have to wear these shoes on my department!
So, they finally arrived and I put them on for a couple of hours to get used to them. They are soooo wide my feet are sliding around inside them and 3 days later my knees and hips are still crippling me with pain. My first pair were just as bad, so I tried a different style this time. Not sure who exactly they are designed to fit, I haven't met a colleague yet that finds them comfortable!
Answer: I wanted to give them a second chance to do right. But they did not!
