Highly efficient Market place to bring customers and couriers together, in order to do business. The platform is easy to use, connections with prospective courier suppliers started to be received very quickly. Communications with bothe the site and the selected Courier was also seamless. I hired this company to collect a upvc door in Sheffield and deliver to Wiltshire.
Despite having to call twice to collect the door as the seller had 'lost it' they did not complain nor charge me for the inconvenience. The communication was excellent and the tracking service brilliant showed the delivery vehicle spot right to my address. It would have cost me more in fuel to go and get myself!
The driver was very pleasant considering he arrived at 6.45am having driven over three hours to get to me.
All in all I cannot fault the service and am happy to recommend them to anyone.
I was able to choose the courier which best suited my needs and costs. Easy to use and is a reliable service.
Shiply is a good site... the fees added to their quotes are too high... I have used a them some times but other times I had to end the listing without a booking as I found cheaper quotes by contacting transporters directly. For example the last job I booked through shiply was £316 out that £260 only for the transporter and £56 shiply fees!
Now £56 fee is very much over the odds! Which drives away many customers and transporters from using their platform... I'm in the motor trade and I know many transporters and customers who stopped using the platform due to their very high fees!
Sadly their management prefer to lose business over lowering their fees to reasonable amount.
Apart from the high fees it is a good site if you choose transporters with a good feedback.
Shipley is a great site to find a courier for larger items. I had to ship a mattress from Manchester to Yorkshire and submitted a request for quotes on Shipley.
Most of the first quotes were quite high at around £69 but if you leave it for a while until you've received a few more quotes you'll end up with good price.
I ended up accepting a quote in the end for £31 and got £5 off from the courier so ended up only paying £26 which I was very happy with.
There is much competition for couriers for regular parcels but when you need some odd shaped item picked up from the other side of the country and delivered to you then they are always my first choice. Their prices put the major carriers to shame and the drivers always seem keen to help.
Good service. I think they are Based abroad and not in the UK but Arrived on time. Delivered my car from Bham to Essex in timely fashion. Good service. I would use them again
We've been using Shiply for at least a few years now and have always had good experiences. We do always look at driver feedback before booking and have never had to contact customer service, but all in all, for us, it's always a good experience!
Very good service have recomended shiply too many people. I use all the time. Good quality service. Even on a sunday. Bruce the driver was very good prompt and friendly.
I contacted these guys to collect eBay goods that were too big to go in my car. They quoted promptly, communicated promptly and very polite. So easy to deal with. I knew where my goods where at every step of transit. The delivery men were polite and helpful when they arrived with my package. Would definitely recommend this company and use them again!

I was a tad dubious having an unknown driver pick up my new car and drive it 600 miles however my fear soon disappeared after receiving confirmation from the company each stage of the journey and how the car felt to drive. I think he enjoyed the journey in my new BMW X6 should I ever have to get this done again I'll use this company as they're professional about the service they provide
I was trying to move my car using there service and from the beginning they have implied they are not a serious business in Australian ground. Unfortunately after wasting 6 days, for nothing, they got back to me saying they cant allocate a transport provider. Now i'm struggling to get my refund back. STAY AWAY at all costs. Its hit and miss service!

Your transport provider has not yet been allocated.
You will receive an email once they are allocated to your job.
Unfortunately there is no guarantee as the transport providers book jobs according to the routes they're taking.
So this is purely dependent on their availability.
I would suggest you look elsewhere in the meantime just in case we are not able to allocate your job to a transport provider.
We will issue a full refund for the deposit paid if we are unsuccessful in allocating you a transport provider.

But they have not really refunded me so I had to open a paypal dispute and wait for the out come.

Great service. However I think they take too higher cut from drivers so they often ask to be paid outside of the system and although this has always been fine, it isn't ideal.
Absolutely no problems. I was kept up to date with traffic and my belongings arrived in the condition they were sent. Very reasonable when discussing the move prior to booking, and very helping bringing my belongings inside.
Collected as arranged, customer contacted and delivery made when requested. Item handled carefully and arrived safely.
Answer: Phones are answered promptly and emails are answered quickly.
Answer: Its a genuine portal for all service providers. Just posted on Sunday night and by Monday i had quotations. Its so safe.
