I have found shipito FANTASTIC! Professional, great service, great shipping rates and savings. Love them. Cant understand the negative reviews. I live in Fiji Islands and find postage expensive and difficult. Shipito has been my answer to all my postal problems. I tried Reship, who charged such high rates, I ended up abandoning a few of my parcels!
"You will fist need to get rid of that package in the account to get refund" - thats what the customer support told me. But they refuse to ship my letter.
Stay away from Shipito.com - shipito is a scam website.

I want to share my experience with you here so nobody will pass through what I passed with this phantom company!
I had a package to send and cost me s fortune because they sent it in the wrong place at first! As I am in European Union I was needed to pay the way back. They kept the package there for more than one month and didn't wanted to send it back to me. After long, stressed conversations with them finally I paid again and sent it guess what? To another wrong address after I paid the customs fees! As this was not enough, they asked me after 1 day to pay the customs fee. In their therms and conditions is written that they have no assume about the customs fees, now they ask me to pay! I have paid the customs and everything! I have had the worst experience ever in my life! I am talking about a package that had a value of 2000 $. I hope nobody experience this ever again! I will sue them with no regrets. Made account and had Some questions, opened livechat and they helped me outstanding, only SMALL hassle was the account verification, but again the livechat helped me (Livechat 24/7 open)
Would recommend this company to everyone!

Truthfully I would not use this company. It seems so simple but once packages get shipped out of their warehouse they refuse to help you. I had a package get stopped in customs and they did not work with me to get it out. Then they charged me a fake fee to have it returned to their office. Company is not trustworthy... so sad because it is a good concept
I had to pay extra shipping to ship my items into the country and supposedly with this it would make it so my items could go through customs. Once it got there it got stopped and they wanted over $600 USD customs fees to release my package to me. The items were only worth $84 USD so this is a rip off and does not make sense!
I asked shipito to help me and they said it was out of their hands and that I had to pay the fee. How is this possible when I paid them an extra fee just so my item would be deliverable to my country and make it through customs?
In the end I had the package returned to them. They requested a fake fee for returning the package with fedex and when I asked for a receipt showing this, they said it was against company policy.
SCAM AFTER SCAM when working with shipito... Avoid at all costs...
You open an account with Shipito and all seems OK. When I got my first package delivered to their warehouse they locked my account and demanded 'verification', including passport, drivers licence, credit cards, etc. I have had numerous emails over five months with Shipito 'support' trying to get my account unlocked. Every time I give them what they ask for they still don't unlock the account. It's effectively extortion as they have your property and won't forward it to you.
In 15 years of internet purchasing I have never experienced anything like this. My understanding is they do this so they can keep your items after the six month storage period expires, and then they auction off your property. No doubt more profitable than shipping. Given all the similar complaints all over the web I don't know how this company has not been closed down by authorities in the USA.
DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THIEVES. THEY ARE TOXIC. IF YOU USE THEM SAY GOODBYE TO YOU PURCHASE.
A new account has lower spending limit for the shipping. For increasing the limit, they require a notarized form 1583 and two copies of ID. The notarized fee is very expensive. In addition, they charge an extra 4.3% bank fee for the shipping. Is that true story?

I was considering registering with them, but there were 2 big red flags, that made me looking up the phrase: "Shipito scam"... OMG, after reading those absolutely horrific reviews about identity fraud (i. E. "extorting your ID's) I changed my mind. NEVER give any internet company your ID's. No one has a right to demand that info, which can leave you and your family easily without a cent and in an unknown debt one day. Did any big, respectable online company ever required ID's from you? No. There.
At first, I got suspicious right away, because they don't list all of their hidden fees on the website, while trying too hard to suck you into their binding membership. They list just a basic fees, that look affordable, but you discover the obnoxious hidden surcharges only later, when it mostly too late to turn back. If you ask their customer service for the hidden fees - they just ignore the questions.
Second - their shipping calc is a pure scam. Many members complain about it as well. I compared the shipping prices at the USPS.gov and their calc... one day Shipito shows you a good price, another day is in average $10-20 higher, than USPS on parcels above 25lbs. (I didn' check FedEx, etc., but must be the same fraud).
So they lock you in with 2 things - "cheap" shipping in the calc, which then magically appears way higher when you really ready to ship, and after they have your goods, they extort your private, sensitive information, like there is no tomorrow. Even Paypal, Ebay, Amazon, etc. don't require IDs, why on earth some creepy company feels entitled to do that?
They also boss you around and require to literally "obey" their rules in their Terms: "You agree not to use the Site or the Services to: disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations " WTF, who do they think they are?
I'm absolutely disgusted at this greedy, unethical way of doing business... enjoy the other reviews.
Really arrogant, unhelpful customer service. Their added fees along with high shipping prices are a rip off. It took me 5 times to cancel my account. They kept telling me I needed a zero deposit balance, which I did. But when they did refund me via Paypal, they took a fee on a transfer that was free!
Thanks Shipito, this is probably around the 20th transaction using shipito to Australia and again, no problems, items arrived promptly and intact. All have been single transactions so I cant really comment on consolidation or multiple packages. For single packages, not a single problem. And no, I dont work for shipito!
This company has a very expensive shipping, and VERY VERY bad verification issues.
They require more IDs than I currently have to ship the package to me.
With that much data about me they can very well steal my identity.
I have no idea on what to do since I already paid a lot for the package AND the shipping, and now I cant receive them.

Well, I really don't know why so many bad reviews. I'm really happy with their service so far. They ship really fast and the price is cheap if we compare to other companies.
The verification process is a nightmare. I would never have used this company had I known what was required. I am still unable to verify my account and the main document is not recognised in Australia. Customer service is not helpful.

Gave up on ever having the package forwarded to me because I didn't want to provide them with everything needed to ship it onward to me (enough information to steal my identity? No way!) Now, attempting to have the package simply returned to the store that sent it is a NIGHTMARE even though I have already given them money to send it. I'll save you the details but it's been more than a week and more than 5 chats with different agents, each asking me to jump through some new hoop. Am about to report them for fraud to Visa. DO NOT USE.
Shipito sent me wrong tacking number so package was returned to sender by FedEx after exceeding claim period. They apologized but charged me again for shipping to same shipping address for the second time. Second time there was missing information and package was returned again.
It doesn't stop there. Ordered a frame and provided Shipito warehouse as shipping address. According to merchant the package was delivered to warehouse by store's truck driver but nobody at Shipito knows where the frame is.
A ripoff, waste of money, waste of time, and my package is still not in Austraila
Got a pair of ski boots sent from a ski shop to Shipito. Based on all the poor reviews their were one or two good ones so i thought i might take a chance. Was easy to set up, box was sent to Shipito warehouse, and they tokk a photo and gave me options for shipping. They sent the box to Australia and i received it ok.
A week late i decided to get a ski jacket and ski pants and get it sent to Shipito Warehouse once again. They received it, and then it all started to go downhill.
First they wanted my credit card details, (I used Paypal the first time), then the credit card had to be verified, which they charged my account, then they wanted a copy of my PASSPORT, a copy of my DRIVERS LICENCE, a UTILITY BILL, all my credit card details and paypal details
They still have my package.
Just a complete rip off and waste of time.
I live in Canada and I ordered an Amazon Fire TV that is not currently available to Canadians.
Since I had to ship it to a US address I sent the product to Shipito and then had it reshipped via Airmail to my address in Canada.
I picked Airmail since by definition Airmail means that is shipped by a plane not a pack mule or a hiker walking to Canada. Actually either of those scenarios would be faster.
What Shipito does is ship the product to Belgium, probably on a container ship. In Belgium it's reshipped out back to Canada.
This process takes, as per their statement, 24-40 DAYS! Days not hours. This turn around time is hidden on their website and is not obviously stated.
It's absolutely insane that any company would purposely ship a package more than 7000 miles out of its way to get to its destination.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
They have been unable to verified my account whereas i was at 70% what is more than necessary based on their FAQ
So very bad experience with an item not delivered.
I lost my money
THIS is a holly $#*! company, nearly scam all my packages.
I have 4 packages: 2 under exactly my name and 2 under my name + agoya (write by seller)
But the lock my account and have to verify 100%. I do as they said, archieved 110%, i very happy to ask them remove the hold on my account. But 1 day later, they say my IDs are fake?! Oh my godness, how can i fake my passport and driver license?
Finally, recommend all of you stay away this company.

They made a mistake on my shipment and ended up blaming me for their mistake. The customer service is awful. Don't even waste your time with the chat support because the agent will tell you to email customer support. Their "COO" Jason Luong responded to my emails with the worst tone and attitude I've ever seen from a company.
Avoid at all costs! Not worth the risk and the headache of dealing with this company.
