Ordered a motorcycle lift after contacting them and confirming costs to deliver to my postcode. Made payment for extra carriage and placed order online. Later that day someone else within their company cancelled the order on the grounds that they don't deliver to my area - talk about a lack of internal communication ability!
I sorted it out on the phone the next day, the order was re-instated. It then took over a week for delivery (unacceptable, sort out your couriers!) and no contact from SGS despite requesting a tracking number and courier details more than once!
The lift itself - once here - seems to be of reasonable quality and works well, although there is a minor issue with the foot pedal travel limiting bolt, which is fitted at the wrong angle to work correctly, and is lacking in a locknut to secure the bolt and prevent it vibrating in or out.
Not so good, however, is the moveable vice (wheel clamp), which is designed to be moveable within slots on the bed to facilitate a wide range of front tyre widths... well, it's a good idea, until you weld a steel bar across the underside of the slots, resulting in only 5mm of adjustment instead of 50!
Also, my moveable vice (wheel clamp, but I suppose it's translated from chinese somewhere along the lines...) has been manufactured incorrectly, causing it to apply uneven pressure to the front wheel when in use. I have contacted SGS about this, and as usual they have failed to respond! I will go down the route of lodging a formal refund request via my credit card company if I have to, and just go buy the Clarke one from Machine mart instead...

On purchasing a gas strutt only to find it didn't fit. I returned and SGS have said they will not refund as there was a minuscule scratch on it. The strut had only been taken out of the packaging to see if it was fit for purpose and then packed away again. I don't see how I scratched it. They supplied a photograph and was clearly a very small scratch. This company was easy to take my money but not very forthcoming to give it back. BEWARE!

CHEAP GARBAGE AVOiD!

3 tonne jack used less than 20 times can't pick up 5kg, customer service not interested just constant lies saying my jack was getting collected by the courier in 3 days never heard anything back on that one! Worst company to deal with, well over 4 weeks no result just lies! Cheap Chinese crap Halfords £30 jacks are better! Avoid at all costs do not waste your hard earned money

Return ******* - you have now had my return for over 6 weeks and yet I'm disappointed as you have still not refunded me. I've spend alot of time on trying to get this resolved.
I have told you on numerous occasions what the parcel looks like, sent proof of return, photos and answered your repeated questions over and over again. You have made promises to escalate to management and contact me and you constantly fail. This is most disappointing and not acceptable.
I look forward to hearing from you and receiving a full refund for goods we have returned and you appear to have lost.

Please don't use avoid at all costs, still waiting for a refund 6 weeks later for an item I paid for that was not in stock, hours wasted on calls and emails, promises broken time and time again, my only option is now small claims court! All to save £30 on a £200 order not worth the hassle, avoid, avoid, avoid use at your own peril

Ordered a 20tonne hydraulic press from them, right from the initial queries/questions through to delivery the customer service and response was brilliant. The press itself is the heavier duty one with mandrills and is of brilliant quality. Will definitely be a returning customer

I researched a tool box that I could use to hold my tools. The box I picked seemed suitable. It was delivered damaged which in fairness SGS compensated me for, but a short few months later the box has multiple issues. I've just been told that this is a light weight tool box and no refund will be offered. It's a sub standard product that you can't store tools in. How silly. If I wanted to carry around cotton wool I'd have used a tote bag.

Ordered £400 cordless impact wrench which was advertised on their website with a case and a bag. When I received the tool the case is broken inside, and outside it was very dusty, I could see from the molding dates that it's nearly 3 years old. Which means the batteries could not last very long. I also did not receive the bag they advertised. I emailed them and said I did not get the bag that was advertised on their website and the case was broken. They replied saying they had run out of bags so I got a case instead. I replied showing a screenshot of their website which said both a bag and a case. They came back and bascially said tough you are not getting the bag we advertised. They also said to send photos of the damaged case, these were already pasted into the first email I send and were in the reply they sent back to me!. It looks like they don't even bother properly reading their customers emails! Since then they have not replied and are just ignoring me. I wish I had bought the impact wrench form someone else as SGS don't appear to care if what you receive is broken and not as advertised on their website. This was my first SGS order and will be my last, I'll spend my money with someone who cares about their customers.

No scruples

Over a month ago I bought 2 gas struts which I needed to return to be modified. ( I paid the postage)
The struts have never been returned to me after many phone calls and emails. I paid in advance for the work to be carried out.
They lie constantly about delivery always blaming DHL for losing the parcel (3 times I believe!).
I have been told I can have a refund, but after ringing accounts a few times, there's no sign of any money back!
£124.97p
NEVER use this company, they are totally immoral, keeping your money with no explanation.

After purchasing a much more expensive compressor and having nothing but trouble with it, I needed a back up machine quickly. I bought the smaller SGS and it's been a far better machine. It arrived very quickly and I've not even used the bigger one that was repaired and returned months ago.
Brilliant customer relations too. Very happy.

Excellent service

Struts

I found SGS on the internet, what a lucky search
The struts on our ottoman bed failed I ordered what I thought was a replacement.
SGS got in touch and queried the struts I ordered, so I took a photo of the old struts and sent it back to SGS.
Next I got a call tell me I had ordered the wrong struts so took there advice and ordered the recommended item.
They arrived next day I fitted them and they fitted perfect
I have been looking for a solution to our Ottoman bed problem struts four months eBay Amazon just could not find the right equipment so lucky day I found SGS
Super duper firm great staff and marvellous products

Bought some new boot struts as I the old ones had given up but also wanted some to accommodate the additional weight I had added.

Safe to say they did what I needed for my 350Z, fitted like OEM and did the job perfectly but also came in no time at all after ordering.

Making sure that anyone else in the 350Z community that has the same issue goes to this company, 100% cannot fault. Thank you.
