KEEP AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS!
Sent in my nokia n95 was told on website they pay £88. For a working phone. Only two options, working or non working.
After two weeks received a cheque for £65.40 without any contact from them to me stating that they were going to do that.
They said that the phone was reduced in value because of the missing charger, which on the website it isnt asked for, and paint erosion.
WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

I have got nothing but good things to say about this site.

I sent my mobile to the address provided via special delivery ang received my cash within a week.

In between times i emailed this company to enquire about the delivery of the phone and received a reply the very same day.

I received a cheque for the amount i expected and i would definetly deal with this company again.

Sent 2 phones on 07/01/10. One to cash4phone.co.uk who offered me £17.50 for my phone and got £8. And other to selloldphone.co.uk who offered me £18.50 but havent heard a thing and they are not answering my emails. I have read all the complaints re this site. ** TO ALL OF U OUT THERE YOU ARE ALL GETTING CONNED. IF U HAVE AN OLD PHONE TO SELL, EITHER STICK IT ON EBAY ( YOU GET PAYMENT BEFORE THEY GET PHONE) OR SELL IT TO SOMEONE U KNOW. OR EVEN BETTER GIVE IT TO A RELATIVE FOR £0. THE WORLD IS FULL OF CROOKS AND BY TRADING ON INTERNET U HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE AND U HAVE NO CHANCE IF THINGS GO WRONG.

I sent like 8 nokia n95 8gb phones to them, the listing price on the site was like 900+ pounds, however after a few days, i received a letter and a cheque of 500 ish pounds, they claim some phones got scratches on the some have other problems, blah blah blah. I never thought it would happen as I have used other mobile recycling site before and they always send me the listed amount of money back.

I then send an e-mail saying m not happy with the service and would have my phone back so I can use other site to get the cash, they then saying under the terms and conditions, I can't get the phones back once I submitted them. I have read through the terms and there haven't got a single line saying that rubbish, but hey do mention they can return the phones back to the sender with 15 pounds admin charge.

I get back to them later mentioning that line, I also state that other phone recycling site will always issue the listed amount on their site to me, why can't they do that? They then saying they will issue me the full amount.

Oh well, I get that amount of money at the end, but this is just the worst phone recycling site out there, I would never ever use them again.

This site had my phone for about 3 weeks and I tried to contact them by phone and email to ask where my money was but never got a reply or answer. In the end they then me a cheque for £20 when I was promised £29 saying that it was worn! They say the gradings are on their website (burried deep in the small print). My addvise is use mazumamobile.com - their site didn't offer the best price but when I sent them my last phone they paid promptly and as promised. Will never use selloldphone.co.uk ever again!

If you're looking to exchange your old mobile phone for cash DO NOT USE 'SELL OLD PHONE' (www.selloldphone.co.uk). This website is a complete SCAM. I was offered £40 cash cheque in exchange for my old phone, which was a fairly new nokia. I posted the phone to the freepost address given and never received any payment. No-one answers the customer help line and e-mail responses just claim that payment has already been issued. It's impossible to speak to anyone. Just don't do it!

I sent them my phone which they promised me 15.25 for but they've have had it 3 weeks now and they say on their site that they send you the money in days but still no money they are supposed to send me a cheque. When i email them about it they either don't reply or just send a email not explaining anything. I'd never use this site again, they have my phone but i have no money from them!
