The first person I spoke with to open an account misunderstood my needs. I am glad that I read the policy when I received it, or I would have been paying for a policy that did not cover my appliances. I called as soon as I found out about the mistake and after talking to a few people, they immediately rectified the problem and now I have the policy I was interested in. Thank you for your good customer service
Very friendly and quickly answered my questions. I appreciated even when I needed to speak with another department, I didn't have to wait long and the person I spoke with was able to help me with the claim.
Sales Rep was quick to the point to provide information since I have been a customer already 2017. I would have liked a discount as a renewal customer. Please stop going up so much every year. I paid $350 and this year $450.
I have been with a competitor for a few years prior to Select Home Warranty. The liaison I spoke to on the phone was friendly, professional and easy to talk to. He was able to lay out all of the guidelines for me about the program. The cost is very reasonable compared to other companies and has the same, If not better, perks. It would be wise to select this company! Our last company was Terrible with wait times (many days)to have our water heater fixed, furnace fixed etc. I am very glad we found them!

Called in this morning because air conditioner stopped. Associate was professional and submitted the claim before I was off the phone. Now let's see if the follow through is as good.
Select sent out Desert sun heating and cooling. They were professional and found the problem. They sent the report to Select however, it turned out to be an item that was not covered by the warranty. I was happy that they respond within 24 hours. We were able to get it fixed at a very reasonable cost.
Customer service was good and response was quick, which is unusual. I just didn't realize that only wear and tear items were covered, and then only get a pro-rated amount. Not sure the entire coverage is worth it. Will definitely do some further comparative shopping before renewing. I am impressed with their customer service which these days

Home warranty are great for homeowners. Those appliances will break, and insurance does not always cover. Better to have a safety net.

Customer service is great, warranty is great if you know what you ate covered for and you read the contract thoroughly, 2 or 3 times with a fine tooth comb... it's not tricky, just give a great piece of mind when you know what you are paying for & what is and is not covered! I came to find out that only 1 of 3 air conditioning units were covered in the standard contract, added 2 more within the 1st 30 days, cost more, but I won't be out of thousands later. Also found that even though the contract doesn't specifically state that it covers 2 water heaters, I confirmed with agent that both units are converted, standard..
After some confusion regarding our policy, I spoke with Luna and she took the time to explain our policy in detail. I was very pleased with her patience and professionalism. I am glad we purchased a warranty for our home. Seems like we will hopefully be taken care of. Just be aware there are waiting periods before your policy becomes 100% effective. Ask a lot of questions and make sure you understand the policy and how the waiting periods work. Other than that I am hoping it was a wise decision to purchase a warranty.

They have been easy to work with. Their pricing and deductible is lower then other home warranty companies but the service is comparable.

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
