I was surprised it took 2 weeks to receive our chairs, seeing as we are situated in Brooklyn (and your factory is in Jersey). We were charged the next day, I received a notification for shipping + tracking number -- and waited...for two weeks for any change in status. Ultimately, we didn't actually have a notification that the chairs were placed in transit -- and they were left downstairs below the stairs (meaning we'd need to actively seek them out).
OK, it tuck a wild the first order was not in stock, so that would take 6 to 8 weeks. Made a new order 10 days, perfect every ones happy.
Looking for Steelcase Chair at the best price, so I decided to go with a refurbished chair from Seating Mind. After I placed my order, I started reading terrible reviews and was very worried. However, my chair arrived in just a few days. It was exactly what I ordered and was in nearly perfect condition. I am very pleased with my order.
Firstly, the chairs took forever to arrive. And now that they have, there are no instructions on how to properly assemble the back part of the chair or how to maneuver the chairs at all. When I called the customer service line, they told me to email or leave a message. This isn't great customer service at all
I am in the process for needing some concerns addressed...I ordered an Aeron Chair with a headrest. On March 7,2019 and I just received it today April 1,2019. The order I received was just the chair with no headrest. I paid the additional fee for the headrest and wondered where it is. Also on my previous order I have a chair that has a tear in the seat. It was there when we pulled it out to put together. I am needing to know what my next step is.

I was skeptical ordering from here based on all of the mostly negative reviews but I decided to give it a try. Overall I'm pleased with the chair. There are some small scuff marks but given that its refurbished its in pretty good shape. It operates as it should as well.

Pretty good. Easy search, semi-informative response to queries. Initially, I was led to expect delivery in 5-7 days; on follow up, learned that there's processing time (to assemble the chair etc) so a longer lead them then I first expected. Not a huge problem but would've appreciated the full info at the get go.
Price was good, but customer service was not. A shipping ticket was created by FedEx almost immediately to give the impression (ordered 3 March and indicated shipped on 4 March) that this was shipped quickly but the process stalled there. It took an email to customer service (13 March) to actually get the chair shipped. My son ordered a second chair and had the exact same experience.
Unfortunately I received the wrong color, and the chair had some clear wear and tear. I was able to get a full refund and the shipping back was free, so I am happy with the customer service.
If I could give this zero stars, I would. It's been a month since we placed the order and it still hasn't even shipped. Customer service never answers the phone, and when I email them I just get automated responses. This is ridiculous.
I was over the moon to find the chairs I was looking for, as they were sold out everywhere else I found them. The price was great and I got a discount for ordering 6. After I received my order confirmation, I then got an email stating they were on back order and no restocking date was available. I was furnishing an office, so had to go elsewhere, therefore, I requested a refund.
I didn't hear back after my initial request, but rather got an email stating there was a new chair style in stock and I could exchange. I restated I needed the refund. I received word that I would be issued the refund, only to get a separate email a few days later letting me know the same chairs, in a different color were in stock, and if I wanted to put my credit towards them instead. I stressed I had requested the refund and was assured they would move forward with processing. I have received no other word from customer service and it hasn't shown up on my statement yet, so I continue to wait.
I ordered 2 chairs almost a FULL month ago and have not received yet! I am very frustrated and would like someone to contact me because this is ridiculous.
They didn't ship our chairs for over a month after we placed the order, despite their site saying it typically takes about 7-10 days to do so. We ended up having to email customer service just to get our order moving. The whole process was annoying.
I was a bit concerned about buying a "refurbished" office chair, but I really liked the (expensive) one I had at work and wanted to get a similar one for home. Seatingmind had a great price, so I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The website was easy to use, and the free shipping (especially since it was such a heavy chair and was shipped already assembled and thus was big) was a plus. One thing to be aware of is that they do sell pre-used items (thus the discount), so be aware of that when purchasing so you're not upset at the condition. My "refurbished to new" chair truly does look new. The only indication that it was used was the wheels, which had some hair caught in the casters. The wheels were also obviously oiled prior to shipping (which is good!), but a lot of it was left on the wheels, and the black grease got on the carpets before I noticed. Both wheels and carpet are cleanable, though, and in general I'm very satisfied.
Good shopping experience but have been disappointed that chair cylinder leaks and chair has tendency to "sink"
I've used a Steelcase Leap chair at work for 8+ years and wanted to buy one for my personal home office. I have bought a few on behalf of work through the manufacturer and received a generous corporate discount, but if you don't have an account with them and purchase through retail channels, the price is almost 2x. Not willing to pay that much personally knowing the markup, I found SeatingMind offering a well-discounted price for a refurbished chair. These chairs survive a lot of wear and tear so I was confident the refurbished model would work. It took 15 days for the chair to leave their warehouse, and an inquiry to customer service, but that was answered promptly and the chair was shipped out the next day. When it arrived, it came in a huge box and was well packaged. It appears to be in good condition and works so far. Some minor scuff marks on the frame, which are nearly invisible unless you look closely, but these don't compromise the integrity. The upholstery does appear to be new, although the back upholstery is not the mesh netting that comes with the new manufacturer model. But for saving $300+, I don't mind.
Wet happy with the chair and customer service has been extremely responsive. Most questions I had were answered quickly in email, with several replies sent over the weekends. I would highly recommend Seating Mind.
...The chair has NO cushion in the seating. We're not satisfied with the product and still debating on whether to return.

Answer: Honestly. With how I was treated. These guys must be mafia.
Answer: This company may be legit, but from the research I have done online after my purchase experience with them, they totally scam people with their outrageous "restocking fee" policy.
Answer: Prices. But you're getting used stuff in god-only-knows condition. Stick with garage sales. These guys are shady. Beware.
