The chair arrived and two pieces had fallen into the bottom of the box. It appears that a cotter ring was not installed on the end of the bolt in the picture. I included pictures in the email to show the piece that was missing. I sent an email eight business days ago and haven't received a response yet.
The product has not yet been shipped
Very user friendly site!
Took way too long to arrive. No notice on the product that it takes up to 10 business days to even ship the product. Chair was supposed to be "restored to new condition" yet the back cross bar was cracked all the way through right in the middle and everything that can be scratched or scuffed is scratched and scuffed. Returning it would mean paying for shipping and paying a restocking fee so I'm stuck with this chair. I would never recommend Seating Mind to anyone I liked or cared about.
Came quickly. A little disappointed with condition. Arms are scratched and it needed a good cleaning.
Marked as shipped immediately after ordering. No notice that chair would take 2 weeks to actually ship until I corresponded with the company via email. They were responsive and expedited the order, but only after I asked to cancel it.
Fast, clean, as advertised. No shipping cost! Pre-assembled before delivery, which had it's advantages and disadvantages.

The communication, post purchase, was not good. I never received a notification when our products shipped. We were pretty much in the dark until the day before the product arrived, and that was only because I went back and checked the web site to find the tracking information. Pretty much any ecommerce site you use in this day and age sends you either an email or text message notification when your product ships. There was no expectation set by the web site when the product would ship either. It was all ranges, nothing specific. When the product arrived it was in good shape except that some of the seats main seat post dragged slightly on the ground when you roll the chair. I notified the site but it was obvious getting them to make this right was going to be a challenge, so we are putting up with it. We will not be purchasing from seatingmind again.
I am really pleased with the price and quality of the chair.
Recieved the chair later than I expected. I had to contact customer service to see where it was. Customer service interaction seemed strange - like they weren't familiar with email etiquette or the caps lock key.
Got the chair partially assembled and no instructions also with a few dings and scratches. Ordered the headrest, but they gave me one that doesn't fit. Contacted customer service and they asked for a video of what was wrong with the headrest. I took the video. They will get back to me.
Product was as described and customer service response was fast. Overall I am satisfied with the shopping experience with them. The only thing that needs improvement is shipment. A shipment label was created next day the order placed, but there were no updates for next 10 days shown as 'shipment pending'. So I had to contact the costumer service to ask when I would be able to receive it. The response was quick though, heard from them on the same day and next day my order was shipped. Going forward I just hope if delivery takes time then I would like to get informed in advance.
I love chair I ordered. The time it took to receive was reasonable and I would order again. The issue I had was the order said it shipped and my credit card was charged. I later found out, after delivery date had passed, that order was not sent and was not ready yet. I was contacted after I made inquires and found out the order was not ready for delivery. This bothered me greatly. Everything turned out fine. But the experience not so good.
Easy process and the chair arrived reasonably fast and well packaged! If I'm ever on the hunt for another office chair I'll know where to look :)
When the chair was ordered, there was no tracking information and responses from customer service was very short. Each time i called in, it went straight to VM. Probably wouldn't order another chair due to poor service.
The chair arrived completely dirty and looks like it is used.
I was shocked that when I received the chair that it was dirty and appeared to be used. Nowhere in the main heading of the item that I ordered did it state that it was a "used" or "refurbished" chair. Only later after we received the chair did I go back to the item on your website and found a statement near the bottom that said could be a new or refurbished chair. I think this is bad business and is very sneaky of your company to not be upfront about the item. Because I used Google as a search and was searching for a specific chair, it took me to the page for that chair so I also did not visit your homepage to see that you sell "refurbished" chairs. It should be made more clear (and the product should come in better condition) before customers purchase so they are aware of what they are purchasing.

Answer: This company may be legit, but from the research I have done online after my purchase experience with them, they totally scam people with their outrageous "restocking fee" policy.
Answer: Prices. But you're getting used stuff in god-only-knows condition. Stick with garage sales. These guys are shady. Beware.
