I purchased a wall oven. It was repaired and delivered to 7 previous customers. I wanted to buy a new one and had a deal worked out them but they would not deliver a new one until the old one was returned. Six weeks later I called them and they have no record of it being returned. They will not provide me with a person to speak with about this issue.
I prefer to buy in store than online. Wide selection of appliances to choose from. Will recommend Searsoutlet to my friends
Online shopping is supposed to be quick and simple. I waited 4 days for a confirmation that I could pickup the freezer. I called the store everyday and was informed not until we hear from 'them'.
"I tried ordering a Kayak from Sears outlet online. I placed the order and paid for it and than I got to a page what said.: YOUR ORDER COULD NOT BE PLACED, PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
I checked with my Paypal account and to my surprise Sears had taken my payment out my account.
I would like to know if anybody else has had this happening to them. As the exact same thing happened to me in November when I tried ordering a fridge from Sears. Than it took me over 2 months and many, many calls and emails before i finely got my money back.
As this happened to me twice now I am sure this is a trick from Sears to steal customers money. "
We purcbased a couch from the portage, mi store for $500. The gentlemanhas asked if I inspected the couch and informed him I inspected it the best I could. Unfortunately i wasn't able to inspect inside or behind the couch. When my husband went to pick up the couch he was not informed of any damage, when the couch was brought in to my living room, I noticed there was something pushing against the back fabric. A main support was damaged. I had called the store and they informed me that due to the couch being sold as is and us not buying an additional warranty, there was nothing they could do. I took it upon myself to open the bottom of the couch in attempts to repaair it and discovered the thing was put together like crap!. The "main supports" look like they were just snapped in half to fit the spot instead of cut appropriately. Unfortunately basically the whole thing is unusable. A complete waste of $500
I bought a new washer, which they dented up on delivery. I complained to them about it, but was told it was not their responsibility of the delivery, since it was a third party service, not theirs. I didn't hire the delivery company, I made a purchase and I PAID for delivery to THEM!
I ordered a drill from sears 3 weeks ago on Nov 8th (someone else wrote a similar review and I just want to be clear that this is not the same reviewer). They ran the charge on my card and sent an e-mail saying that most deliveries process and are sent out in 2-3 days. After a week I was noticing that my status had not changed on my invoice to reflect it being shipped. At 10 or 12 days I called customer support (the 1-800#). They apologized, then told me I have to call the outlet center itself but it was closed.
I called the outlet center the next day and spoke to a nice woman who tried to track down my drill but couldn't find it and put me on hold to get someone who might help. The next person told me I would need to call the shipping service and gave me their number. He then explained he was a salesman on the floor and didn't know much about the shipping. He said the info will be relayed to the manager who can sort me out and will call me back.
I hung up and starting dialing the shipping service even though I knew from the e-mail it was in-store "ready for pick up" even though I specifiesd and paid $10 for shipping.
I hung up and called the 1-800 # back.
They apologized and said the next step is they will send an e-mail to the outlet and have a response in 3 business days. I asked if they could instead just put a drill in the mail and send it to me or let me pick one up locally. (No) e-mail, 3 days- only option.
In the meantime no call back from the manager so I decide to call them back again to see what's up.
Another helpful woman tries to locate drill- no luck but the manager is in that day and will help- but after she's back from lunch and can I call back in half an hour- sure I say and we hang up.
I call back later that day, same helpful woman, manager is in she tells me, puts me on hold and comes back on the line to tell me the manager can't talk just then but was on the case and would call back so we end the call and I wait, and wait, and wait until it's well past closing time and I call back and the phone does get answered, again by the same helpful but unable to get it done woman who tells me the manager is gone and hasn't finished the shipping of my drill and if i wanted I could just cancel and get a refund or the manager could call me.
I bought the drill on sale at $50 but that particular model runs about $80 so a refund gets my money back but not my drill and no they couldn't just ship out another drill or do anything besides look for it and call me when they found it. Huh?!?
You're freakin sears fer goodness sake and you can't just ship me a drill?
Another business day with no call and I've had it with waiting. I get on amazon, find the equivalent drill at the same sale price, drop my $ and it was delivered to my door that very evening (prime membership) at no additonal charge.
I would like to thank sears for this experience as it was nice taking a trip down memory lane. It was reminiscent of a time when we all had land lines and phones had cords and rotary dials. The inside of a sears smelled like machine oil and cigarette smoke and people shopped in their finest polyester for American made quality tools that lasted for years. We didn't have the internets, or bank cards, or any of that fancy stuff. Same day shipping- whooo lord no... you would have to be a rich man I imagine, to get a product delivered to your door in a day.
Thanks for staying 4 decades behind the times Sears. It was fun knowing you.
I purchased a Drill online from Sears Outlet and immediately the money came out and was sent an email saying the drill was at the Houston Westheimer store and would be at my door approximately 2 days from ordering and that I would receive and email with tracking number once it shipped. I never got a tracking number nor has it ever been shipped. I have made numerous calls to the store and get a bunch of I dont knows and can I call back later or can we call you back? No! Im calling now! I have set on hold for over an hour many times only to be dropped or asked to try back later. Ive spoken to the store manager to only be told each time that it will be shipped first thing in the morning and tracking number will be sent to my email. Anyway 3 weeks later still No email, No tracking number, and no drill... And nobody gives a Damn! After filling this grievance with their comical complaint department which is an extension of the rest of their name brand or whats left of it I asked if I could go into the local sears store here and should they have it could i pick up there to which she replied yes they have it 5 block from where I live but was 9 dollars more for that same drill to which I replied, cant you absorb the 9 dollars for all my troubles? NOPE! Cant do that. So can you let me have that drill and send the one your supposed to send me to that store? NOPE! What a joke Sears has become. I see why and the generation that are running things today we dont stand a chance. Good service has gone from poor to criminal. Vote Donald Trump! And Dont buy from Sears Outlet! Guess Its ok for big corporation to steal from you but when I go into the store and walk out with my product I bet they will have me arrested.
What a shame. Products that need sold but only willing to ship at their exorbitant pricing/discretion. Not willing to ship to a closer outlet or use other methods of shipping. Guess we are crossing off SEARS completely from our shopping lists.
We were interested in a microwave at a Sears Outlet in the Chicagoland suburbs and wanted to see if they would ship to Kansas City Outlet but they were unable to and for a shipping charge was approx. $250 just for transport (UPS/FedEX/Speedee -NO!) only option is rail then delivery truck... RIP OFF... :(
I purchased a refrigerator Sept. 1, I called today 9/12 because I had not been contacted with delivery information. They have no information and need to call the local store, I was on hold for 30 minutes while the rep. Checked and then the phone hung up. I called back the representative said she would help find one that was in stock. She gave me an item number and the dimensions were different than the original one. She insisted it was the same item, I asked if she could contact the store for measurements. The rep. For the store tried to sell me a refrigerator $400 more and said they didn't have the one the original rep. Assured me was in stock. No apology, no nothing. I've wasted 12 days thinking the refrigerator would be delivered and no one had bothered to check its availability prior to running my AMEX. Terrible service/ bait and switch! RUN!
I purchased on the sears outlet a kitchenaid fridge.
On the description it said SCRATCH ON ONE SIDE
The fridge came terribly bad packed. No more than a piece or cardboard covering 40% of the whole unit.
Now that I have the item it has scratches and dents on the front. And one of the interior shelves is missing.
Besides, The fridge is actually NOT WORKING, a technician come to check it and the compressor is busted. This whole repair will cost 350$ for replacing the door, $70 for the missing shelf plus $400 for the compressor.
I am very disappointed because I was not expecting an item in such mediocre shape. Specially since they did not specify it.
I ended up paying more than the fridge brand new, plus my headaches.
I would stay away from that website,
I called the store to make sure the range was in stock and was told it was. I also purchased a fridge. After a week of waiting for the green light to pick it up, I was told they were gone and my credit card was never changed. Yet, I look at the site again and see that the fridge (they had two), is not posted as only one left. The range is gone. When trying to reorder, the website seems to have a glitch telling me my address is not valid. Oh, btw, the fridge is now $150 more. Same fridge as I an tell from the posted pics. BOGUSS!
I recently came into knowledge that several persons were shoplifting at the abilene texas mall and immediately sought to contact some loss prevention authority at the mall starting with seats which I got no answer
The collards which has no website that list phone number to report this knowledge. Then abilene mall which also has no website that gives number to report to. These people aren't serious about loss prevention I couldn't get through to anybody at the mall over loss prevention finally have up. Bunch of dumbasses just drawing a check!
DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS OUTLET. SERIOUSLY, I WISH I COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND TO 15 DAYS AGO AND PREVENT MYSELF FROM BUYING FROM SEARS. I have been on the phone and email to them no less than 15 times trying to get back the GROSSLY overcharged tax to my purchase. That they charged $30 in tax over what they should have is FRAUD and wrong to begin with, but the ridiculous treatment I have had to endure since then is beyond reason. I STILL don't have the refund back, and they to top it off I had a person yesterday assure my credit will be to me in 5 days, then this morning I get an email that they have sent me a credit of only $11. I"m convinced these guys are a sham, fleecing profits by padding the cost of the sale, then making it impossible to talk to any representative that can actually do something about it, and making promises that they will take care of it and then don't. Don't even get me started on the product - The people who delivered my washer wouldn't hook it up because they said the hoses that came with it are too cheap and crappy to use. WTH!? I wish I could give negative stars for a rating.
I found a refrigerator that suited my needs with a reduced price due to a few scratches/dings. Most would be concealed so I purchased it.
I had to wait 1 day longer than allowable to offer feedback on searsoutletfeedback.com. The delivery window was made a little bit earlier than I requested so I left work early. Than waited until 45 after the original window for them to show up.
I was advised to wait a couple hours to plug it in so I did. When I plugged it in, I found out that it doesn't get cold.
Now I called for service and have to wait 5 more days for someone to repair it and I have to take more time off work.
So far nothing but a huge waste of time and money. I will never shop sears outlet again!
Online site loads slowly and they have the problem with coupons that are hard to determine what the best deal is...
My story: I bought a washer from a Sears Outlet store advertised on their website as having that item. That after chatting customer service to find out what they meant by "buying AS IS" as I could not believe they would mean just that. My 2nd huge mistake (after buying from these people at all) as I believed him when he said they just want to make sure I know I was buying refurbished. Shortly, that store called to say they did NOT actually have that item. I found the item in a different store also as advertised in stock on Sears Outlet Website but for $70 more; exact same item. I chatted Sears customer service again for over ½ hour trying to get some assistance in transferring my payment to the second store as I didn't have the funds in one day to buy 2 washers. I also wanted, since it was their advertised error, them to honor the 1st store price. They could do nothing to help me, NOTHING. I called their customer service number. I spent over ½ hour with that lady. She was just as unable to assist me in either of those requests. I requested to speak to a supervisor, busy (of course) and would have to call me back. I asked her then if she could at least call the 2nd store to check stock. She was quite put out, unwilling to put out any customer service effort, but finally in a disgusted voice agreed. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes to decide she was not coming back on the line. I called the 2nd store myself. Yes the lady from Sears main did call their store "some time ago" he said. So she did not intend to come back on the line to me. No, they do not have the item as Sears Outlet web advertised. No, the supervisor did NOT ever call me back. The 1st store did refund me but the bank, as normal, takes 7-10 days to process. Now, I have a broken washer and my money tied up and no way to get another washer. All this and I was 1 hour late for work and spent hundreds of dollars and about 3 total hours with absolutely nothing but frustration and a lesson well learned to show for any of it. Apparently, this is the way Sears runs their business and customer service these days. What happened to the good ole Sears? Never, never again will I deal with Sears and if you are smart, you will heed the warnings you read and stay away from Sears also.
This is a dent and ding resale store. The salesman was the most charming man I've ever met. Showed me exactly what I wanted. The price was 35% less than the retail store. The stove had one small nick in the paint. I can fix that with an enamel repair kit. Was impressed with what they have to offer.
