Scott's Marketplace is helping resolve this

Just a quick update to let you know that Scott's has contacted me and directed me to Paypal to get a refund. They attempted to reach the seller with no success as well so there is no other recourse. At least Paypal will refund my $ and Scott's was very concerned and did what they could to assist.

I purchased an item intended to be a Christmas gift on 12/3/17. Right away received an emailed acknowledgment of the purchase. Soon received my credit card statement showing they charged my card. However, after contacting Scott's Marketplace (who helped me log in in order to contact the seller) I've emailed and left voice message for them. No reply. They asked for my "Review" of their site and I obliged. Still no reply. I'm beginning to smell a scam just like Helga M. And Nanci S.

Great Place To Sell!

I am a seller on Scotts Marketplace and I am very happy. They are very easy to use. Customer service is really wonderful and helpful. I have had lots of sales since I have been selling on here. I have more sales on their website than any other. I have been selling online for years and this is the best one yet. Thanks Scotts Marketplace :)

I'm a seller on this site, just made my first couple of sales, after being on there a long time. I had to call customer service, and while there were some technical issues, that appear to not yet be resolved, they were extremely polite and professional.

Love Scott's!

Why do I love Scott's? A couple reasons. First, they engage personally with their sellers on a regular basis. That's probably one of the best things. Furthermore, they only take a fee when your item sells. I love that you don't have to pay listing fees. They are easy to work with and super friendly, really keeping their sellers in mind.

Website is closed

So ridiculous. They closed the site down and never contacted business owners to let them know it was closing down. Also It was pricey to use. There was also no way to contact the customers to let them know about any issues or add on's we may or may have not had with any items, in the same way the customers were not able to contact us from this site if they had any questions. Luckily we did not have any issues, however, a customer had a question and went to our facebook page and was able to ask us to personalize their item. It never ever logged us in correctly either. We had to fiddle with passwords every time we logged in. It is no wonder they shut down however, an email to all of the business owners would have been the proper and correct thing to do. We have been giving out business cards with wrong information. That is very unprofessional of the site owners!

I have called their phone number and have left messages to no avail.
My purchase was 160.00 which meant free shipping, I just don't know where it is coming from---an other country or what.
NO ONE WILL RESPOND TO MY PHONE MESSAGES OR E-MAIL.

IT IS customary to contact the actual seller you purchased the item from, not the hosting site. Contact seller by responding to Order Confirmation email. Easy to reconcile. Never wait two months - one week max. Tracking info expires eventually. Scott's Marketplace is a reputable up-and-coming e-commerce marketplace.

Never received item

This seems to be a scam business. We ordered an item almost two months ago, and have not received it. When we wrote to them, they informed us we needed to contact the individual seller, although they have no contact site listed. I would not recommend anyone buy anything through this site! They are quick to take your money, but cannot get a refund for something we never received!

Total Rip Off

I purchased a Kiwkset Kevo Smart Lock from this online store, for 141.00 nice price for item, received the item and attempted to have it installed on my condo door by the building maint. The lock did not fit my door and door would have to be drastically modified which is not allowed by condo association, it was recommendation to return the lock. Upon requesting a return and refund I was informed u would be charged 50% of 141.00 to restock the item when there was no mention of a restock fee if item was returned before purchase. This company is a pure rip off and I would recommend NO DOES BUSINESS WITH UNDERCOVER THIEVES. Also to note there product was returned June 30,2016 / Tracked and delivered July 2,2016 and to date July 12,2016 they have still failed to refund my money PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE LOW BUDGET ONLINE SELLERS! You have been HONESTLY WARNED!

SMP provides amazing advertising at no cost and there fees are the lowest of the 4 sites I use. They answer questions in a honest and timely manner. Great place for a small specialty business like mine.

They do everything right. From the 4.99% commission that is billed at the end of the month and ONLY on the sale, NOT the shipping, to the fantastic store owner support with a helpful blog of marketing info and twitter chats, this new marketplace is fantastic! I have only been on it a couple weeks and already made a sale! The transaction, using Paypal, went flawlessly. I left another online marketplace because they implemented a bunch of changes and the technical problems were horrible. I felt like my reputation was at risk with my customers from all the site glitches and multiple charges. So I looked for a new online marketplace to sell my products and found Scott's Marketplace. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend them for store owners looking for a new venue (unless you sell soap and bath products, because that's what I sell). Lol
